For followers of Tintin, a marvel of museum and for architects a marvel of architecture. Very good attention, within the tkt include the audioguide that is very complete (has additional information), a restorant and a store in the museum set.

The temple for a tintinophil. It is suitable for everyone, large and small, even people who are not too fanciful. I went with two friends who do not know Tintin and enjoyed it very much. In the end both were admirers More

An absolutely delightful experience! For those of us who love Tintin and even for those who do not, the museum is incredibly well put together and insightful. For its price the tour is well worth it, and especially with the audio guide (which is a must!) the experience was far better than what I had expected. The building as well is very stylish inside and outside, and beautifully compliments the world and characters that Herge created - as they should. The location is slightly inconvenient as public transport from Brussels takes a good while, and arriving with a car left us fairly confused about where we could park, but it is absolutely worth the hassle. The restaurant is also worth a visit (the mushroom ravioli was absolutely gorgeous!) as is the gift shop, naturally. As a Finnish visitor I was glad to find Finnish copies of the Tintin books to take home with me. What a lovely trip to my childhood!

Very nice museum. The exhibition rooms are varied with clear explanations. It is sometimes difficult to follow the route imposed by the audio guide. Only downside, the prices of the souvenir shop are prohibitive.
Easy access via the underground car park. Immediate proximity to the city center of Louvain.

Very nice museum. I learned a lot about the Tintin universe as well as about its designer. We came for the weekend in Belgium and that was really the main reason for our trip.
We are delighted to have made the trip.

Super nice museum (architectural gem), good explanation with the audioguide ... only we think that much more is possible with this type of museum. Our children were a bit hungry, could be much more playful and interactive.
