Exceptional scenography, soothing atmosphere, a world apart, disconnected from the city. A true sensory and artistic journey to recharge your batteries at the roots of our civilization. Very suitable for all audiences: disabled, children from an early age with workshops and storytelling always exciting.

A really well-planned and presented museum, with an enormous diversity of objects on show. There is an especially strong Pacific section, but the other areas are well done too. Toilets are quite far from the exhibits, but are clean and well maintained. The bookshop is excellent, although if you are bilingual, you'll notice with some disappointment that a lot of the books are translated from English.

Very nice garden you need to go through before you can enter the museum. The museum is laid out very well, the space just leads you through all the art without you ever need to think about it.

The staff that knows English do wear a button with the British flag on it. A nice touch to help you avoid any confusion.

Also if you're under 26 and are European, the entrance for part of the exhibition is completely free of charge.

I would recommend it only if you're into history or ancient art.

I went there to check a temporary exhibition but this place is huuuuge! There were 4 temporary exhibits and the permanent collection was excellent. A wonderful place for children and adults alike. Also, it is lit up beautifully at night. Highly recommend it! Plus, you get a nice view of the Eiffel Tower from here.

Amazing museum of indigenous art near the Eiffel Tower. Covers all areas of the world outside of Europe. Take the inclining paths to the top of the museum and then exhibits are by area as you descend without even knowing it. Quality if the artifacts amazing. Wasn't sure I would enjoy, but really did. Thurs. nights the museum is open late so I rarely encountered no more than 2 other visitors in an area at any time.

Great design of the space /building , and unique antiquities collections . historical collection here is totally separate in focus from what can be found at Louvre for instance , so really worth seeing if you are interested in anthropology, history , exotic cultures.

This museum is dedicated to world cultures and ethnic art. Its exhibits tend to be a bit daring such as a full art exhibit about Tatto Artists or Hawaiiana artwork and pinups from the 50s. Fun for all ages.

A very enriching museum. Full of new discoveries, on cultures not necessarily very present in other museums such as the Louvre. If you can visit it in several times to "cut out" the different civilizations ... because in one go it's a lot to assimilate all at once! But there are still very nice highlights

I work at this museum so I know it quite well. It has amazing permanent collections and often hosts temporary exhibitions that never disappoint. But the garden of the museum is worth visiting on its own. Narrow paths will lead you to cosy benches or tiny pavilions covered in plants where one can hide from the sun or rain or just have a quite moment. And you will have a view of Eiffel Tower from a quite unique angle.
Did I mention that little children love visiting this museum? There are various activities for them as for adults including plays, meetings and conferences.
If you ever go to this museum, don't forget to take a long walk by the river Seine along the Quai Branly.

On the side of the Seine, after passing through a garden, walking in and avoiding the crowds, you can enjoy a quiet. The current exhibition is Japanese bamboo art, a rare collection, worthy of recommendation.

How could I put so much time before coming to discover it from the inside! Very nice museum with pleasant and intimate traffic to immerse oneself in different cultures.

Thanks to the Fair Splenden look very successful, with sublime pieces on the art of Japanese wickerwork.

And so have me then discover a part of the permanent collections.

The fact that we move from one region of the world to another in a fluid way also allows, in my case, to realize how art has always been part of humanity and is a Common base much stronger and often comparable although issued peoples a priori very different.

I would not go back only for his restaurant "the shadows" ;-)

Definitely to do, with friends or family. By cons, no changing table in the toilet, which would be really practical. Impressive collection (although some items lack lighting in my opinion) and very pleasant outdoor gardens.

The exhibition of Asian ghost and hell is really interesting. The history, story, image, videos and even games etc there will be always one way that touches you or scares you. It includes several countries and it is really something different from orient thoughts. Very good presentation and the visit lasts for about 2 hours. There are parents with their kids.

Very interesting design to the museum and it s easy to get lost exploring the different exhibitions. It is designed in sections that seperate the different areas in the world.

Very informative for all ages. Children can join special groups to learn in an interactive way.

The one downside is that the Australian exhibition does not contain and traditional art, and is very small. The art it does contain is modern (~1996)

If you want to immerse yourself in ancient times, discovering many cultures and traditions from the wide world, this museum is for you.
Stroll, let your senses react and find the roots of our humanity. We also visited the temporary and permanent exhibitions with pleasure. Surprise, however, with the temporary exhibition which featured contemporary photography. For my part, I discovered Samuel Fosso and Gosette Lubondo in surprising works. To see at all ages.

Eclectic collection from ancient civilisations from Asia, Africa, the Americas. Interesting items with wood, bamboo, religious ceremonies, ancestor ceremonies, and some really wacky stuff - wooden purging spoons, skulls etc. Great collection although I do sense a little bad joo-joo there.
The outdoors space is incredible - lovely gardens especially at night and a view of the Eiffel tower. Highly recommended. Audio guides in multiple languages and not too expensive entry fee. Also opens till late.

Already the people at the reception are very pleasant and inform us about the least, and for the visit of the museum which is normally done on 3 floors, there is always 1 person to inform us or help us. I'm going back this week.

I exhibition "Paintings from far away at the Quai Branly Jacques Chirac Museum" was a great discovery. We visited for the first time this museum. He is very well organized; the works are well developed and very beautiful. This museum presents very many perfectly chosen works. To do absolutely. We had a great time.
