The room is very spacious and the environment is good, although it is located in the city center, but the room style is nostalgic and elegant. There was some problem with the hot water here, so the hotel gave away the breakfast for free and apologized to me. thank you very much.

Visit during the exhibition on the Roman emperor Claude; Lyonnais by birth. His life was told differently than the gossip of Suetonius or the Christian lies that only added to it.
It is not bloated, but we go to the essential and we discover the hidden face of the one who was a great emperor without knowing it.
The museum is just as beautiful in these places.

Impossible to visit this Museum without booking on the internet because of the covid
The reception is deplorable, I was told that there were posters all over town indicating that you had to book online, so I had to be aware! Sorry but as tourists I don't look at the posters! And 4G only works intermittently indoors.
I asked for help, but to no avail, not only did they make no effort to help me but they also took care of the people who came after me! Desolating this pretentious youth!

Much larger than expected. Need 3+ hours for relaxed pace viewing of entire museum. Quite a few pieces by famous artists (el Greco, Reubens, etc), but not great examples in my opinion, but I am no artist so I am sure many would disagree

Fine art museum. Full of things like antiquities from Greece, Egypt etc. Easy to get around. There are also plates & past decorative items, coins, old furniture and the odd tapestry to look at. Oh, and paintings and old vases.

Some of the more famous artists paintings upstairs.

A magnificent collection to discover alone or with the family. Lots of events and conferences to deepen. But also the best place in Lyon to escape the heat wave, with a cool cloister and a superb terrace (accessible without a ticket) for a magical break in the greenery in the city center

Very beautiful museum of fine arts which is that of Lyon. The building itself is already splendid. The museum is divided into trays. Sculptures, ancient arts, medals and then paintings. An audio guide is available on site for adults and children. You can also download the museum application which also provides an audio guide and also contains favorite routes as well as several descriptions of the works.
I was personally very touched by the sculpture of James Pradier "Odalisque" as well as that of Etex "Cain and his cursed race of God". Adult entry is 8 euros.

A must in Lyon! For me it is the place of cultural passage obliged in Lyon. The entrance garden and his Rodin sculptures set the tone, then we find almost all of the best known painters with a wide variety of styles: Baroque, Renaissance, Impressionism, Romanticism, Surrealism ... Audio guide at 1 and fairly numerous explanatory plastic plates.

Beautiful building and galleries. Right when you enter there isva lovely garden/park where you can seat on the benches and relax. The entrance was 4 euro, but we get in with a student pass. On the basement there is a sculpture exhibition. Absolutely impressed, but the quality and scale of those sculpture. After that the main galleries span on 2 levels in chronological order. It starts with the Egyptian exhibition and it goes all the way to Impresionists like Monet and Degas. There is also a small room with a quite impressive coin collection. It takes about 2 hours to go briefly through all the museum and 3-4 hours if you listen the audio tours as well. The side notes are all in French.
