Really bad support. I asked to upload a database since thorugh phpmyadmin was not able to do it. It tooks them more than 5 days to do. And I tired to call them, I was in the phone at lest for 20min, then I asked for a call back. I did not receive any call on that day.

After a year and a half without any problems, the site suddenly ceased to exist and the support team was unable to restore it.

Update: I have improved my bad rating - but it still has a stale aftertaste. I have corresponded with a Hoststar employee several times without a solution emerging. When I wanted my money back and left a 1-star rating here, the problem was solved within half an hour.

Hoststar has been my hosting provider to my complete satisfaction for 10 years. In all that time everything was performing and stable. One of the nice things is that support requests can be made by email. Other providers want to have you on the phone, probably to talk you into an upgrade. Not so hoststar - just great.

Support from Hoststar is a joke. If you call on Friday afternoon, you will hardly get an answer and you will not reach an employee. When you reach an employee, apparently the problem is clarified and you get into a waiting loop. Thereupon without hesitation. The salutation of the employee took place without attribution only "hello".
I tried to call again several times, but without success. In one attempt, the handset was indeed removed, but immediately reissued.
This is a joke, if you want to be "competent" and still advertises it, should you be so.
Too bad about Hoststar itself, which is a great brand in itself, but failed so miserably at the support.

I can really recommend this company wholeheartedly. You can always call if you don't understand something or can't find anything. There are instructions everywhere.

The entire team is always extremely friendly and extremely personable and you can tell that you are very welcome as a customer. In addition, queries are answered at lightning speed. As I said, I am very satisfied and always recommend Hoststar to everyone.

- The support gets worse from year to year. In my last 3 cases, support was neither available nor called back. And that they use a value-added service number, where you also pay for the waiting time with a flat rate is an absolute cheek!
