As a Mulberry customer of many years, both in the UK and Australia, I wanted to share the fantastic customer service experience provided by Lauren Vincent, Digital Customer Services Advisor. I purchased three bags from the Mulberry UK website in December, to be delivered to an Australian address, and unfortunately on receipt one of the bags had been crushed in transit (despite being packaged well), and didn t look likely to be able to be straightened out despite stuffing it with paper for a couple of days for it to relax back into shape. I got in touch to explain what had happened and was smoothly guided through the UPS courier collect process by Lauren so that the bag could be exchanged. (As an aside UPS are a nightmare to deal with in Australia). Collection was arranged and new bag is on the way. Lauren was in touch throughout so I wasn t passed around numerous advisors and having re re explain each time, and she even got in touch to check that the courier had picked up the bag. There were also issues with duties with the exchanges bag coming back into Australia. I got in touch with the customer care team and was passed back to Lauren who managed the issue efficiently and drama free. I ve read some terrible reviews of Mulberry but please remember for all the people who complain, a LOT are very happy. I m extremely lucky and have 8 of these bags - and will continue to buy them because not only are they beautifully and robustly made, they re timeless classic and understated. As a side note - to anybody based in Australia wishing to purchase, ho on the UK site and at delivery select Australia as your shipping country. Mulberry Au has far less stock and choice.
