CHATEAU IN THE WOODS IS A RIGGED APARTMENT COMPLEX AND DO NOT RESPECT THE TENANTS.
HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT COMPANY. THEY DO NOT TAKE CARE OF BUSINESS...IF YOU MOVE HERE BE PREPARED TO HAVE YOUR PRIVACY INVADED BECAUSE THEY COME INTO YOUR APARTMENT WITHOUT PERMISSION. I HAPPENED TO COME HOME TODAY FOR LUNCH AND AMANDA (THE MOST CURRENT PROPERTT MANAGER BECAUSE A NEW ONE IS THERE EVERY SIX MONTHS) ALLOWED MAINTENANCE TO GO INTO MY 1100.00 A MONTH APARTMENT WITHOUT THE THE 24 HOUR NOTIFICATION AND OF COURSE WHEN I GO OVER TO SPEAK WITH HER REGARDING THE BLATANT DISRESPECT...SHE WASN'T IN THE OFFICE AND IT WAS CLOSED...ITS ALWAYS CLOSED. THE MAINTENANCE THAT NEEDED COMPLETED WAS THE REPATING OF THE BATHROOM CEIKING WHICH HAS BEN COVERED WITH A BLACK TRASH BAG AND DUCK TAPE FOR FOUR WEEKS. WHEN I WALKED IN THE MAINTENANCE PERSON HAD TAKEN ALL OF MY PERSONAL BELONGINGS AND PLACED IT ON THE HALLWAY FLOOR INCLUDING MY TOOTBRUSH. THE MAN WAS SO NICE AND ASSUMED AMANDA CONTACTEDME TO TELL ME THEY WERE COMING. I'M SO OVER CHATEAU IN THE WOODS. THESE APARTMENTS COST TOO DAMN MUCH FOR THIS MESS. IN ADDITION, THE BUZZARDS STILL DON'T WORK AND THE CEILKNG HE REPAIRED IS THE THIRD TIME THIS YEAR BECAUSE THEY WON'T ACTUALLY FIX THE PROBLEM, THEY JUST PATCH IT UP UNTIL IT LEAKS AGAIN. THIS IS A VERY POOR MANAGEMENT COMPANYAND ONLY DO ENOUGHTO FOOL TENANTS INTO MOVING IN. IF YOU ARE SMART, TAKE YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE WHERETHE STAFF IS RESPECTFUL AND HONORABLE.

Denied the ability to file a complaint with the president of the company.

Muesing recently took over management of the property that we have been in since 2012. They have removed all of our amenities, ie. fitness center and car wash, and have also now dictated HOW we park our vehicles. I recently spoke with Karen Tolley, CPM, and even though she said she listened to my concerns with the new policies, there was nothing she would do to change them even if all residents agreed that they overstepped their boundaries. I called the corporate office and was denied the ability to file a complaint to have it on record. They said the only person above her was the president and he doesn t handle complaints. I was even refused the president s name to send a letter or email. Absolutely dreadful company. I have filed a complaint in accordance to the Fair Housing Act and contacted the ACLU. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE find out what company management team manages your property and if it is this one, RUN FAST AND FAR!

Getting woke up over and over (8am-9am) for weeks by early scheduled renovations crews; Management does not care .

I find it amusing that the one, solitary five star rating was from Muesing Management themselves per Jackie Wood! Lol ..She couldn't even make up a fake comment as to why she gave herself five stars.

This company is exceptionally unprofessional. The management has slight idea what they are doing in this business and are on their way to extinction. Apartments they rent have deteriorated years ago, and they are obviously not making any profit to invest it into improvement. Conditions for renters and employees violate any kind of common sense but what is worse, the management is clueless. One can't even have an intelligent discussion since they lack comprehension of their roles, rights, etc. They have no respect for people who live at their properties or who work for them. There are so many new modern and contemporary run apartments locally, they should take some lessons! Please take those reviews online seriously because these people rely on those who do not read, review, research. Ask them questions about safety, privacy, insurance, upgrades, security, high turn over of employees, annual increases, lack of amenities, before moving in! Majority of properties have $400-$500 discounts or referral incentives - this is for a reason - people move out!

If I could leave 0 stars I would! I live in Martinique Terrace Apartments and this is the WORST place to live. I wish i would have read reviews before i moved in 3 years ago but i was young and naive. The management sucks and do not care at all about their tenants. I had MULTIPLE leaks from the water heater which soaked my carpets and all they did was stick a large bowl under the water drips to catch it. It took me to call about the issue 4 times before it was properly handled. There were multiple over flows from the apartment above which caused severe water damage to the ceiling and even had parts of my Ceiling fall through! You should see the patch job they did! Absolutely horrible. I had to live with a gaping hole in my ceiling for a week while all my furniture was pushed to one side of the room which didn t allow me or my toddler to even hang out in the main living area... forcing my one year old to hang out in a bedroom all day. Did they care or offer any accommodations? Nope. Black mold all in the bathroom. Called about that on more than 3 occasions and NO ONE EVER CAME OUT. Thankfully we found a beautiful home to rent 2 weeks before our lease was up so we booked it. I still paid the full months rent for March, we just moved our belongings to the new house. We had a few things left in the apartment so we went back once last week to get them and what do we find? Pee that hadn t been flushed along with cigarette butts laying around. Mind you, no one in my household smokes and we also cleaned the apartment top to bottom including toilets before we moved. The apartment was also locked when we went back to get out left over things which means whoever was in there HAS A KEY. Aka MAINTENANCE. Since they knew we were no longer living there, they were using our apartment which was still in MY name as their little hide out while working. I addressed this with the office manager and she did nothing. Useless. Well guess what? We went back to the apartment today (lease ends tmrw) just to do one last check and THERE WERE MORE CIGARETTES AND PEE IN THE TOILET!!! Mind you, we cleaned up after the FIRST incident. The apartment smells of urine because it s just been sitting in the toilets. It s absolutely disgusting and not to mention ILLEGAL for them to be in MY apartment especially since i never gave them permission to enter regardless if I am staying there or not. Them being in there is just asking for damages to be caused that ll be pinned on me. I AM DISGUSTED by the unprofessionalism and carelessness of these nasty property owners.

The absolutely worse management company! I live in Fallwood Apartments. I ve tried calling Muesing Management several times to discuss the issues with my apartment, but they will not return my call! Do yourself a favor & NEVER move into one of their properties!

I am honestly shocked by the other reviews. I have not had a bad experience with Muesing. I guess people only post a review when they have a bad experience so take that for what its worth. I would recommend this company and their properties to my friends and family.

Just awful. This company DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU. They are selfish and refuse to answer for their actions. Don't even try to talk to HR--you will be forwarded to their voicemail over and over and no-one ever returns the call. STAY AWAY FROM RENTING FROM THEM AT ALL COSTS! Maintenance is sub-par and the management staff is just awful. They don't like spending money so they let their properties fail and then sell them. I will NEVER rent or be associated with this company for their money hungry ideals and backward policies.

The manager at Greenfield Knoll is very rude and short. My husband and I live here currently, and I will not call for maintenance request or questions when she is there. The younger lady that works in the office is very nice and helpful, as well as the new maintenance man. We love the apartments. Just a shame she is so rude to the residents.

Unless you want to live/work for a company that could care less if you died that same day, I would run far away. Do not care about the employees or residents. I would stay as far away from any Muesing property unless you want to get treated like dirt. Hands down, WORST COMPANY!

Rules don't apply to everyone. Loosing paperwork. Sometimes down right rude.

Live at CHATEAY IN THE WOODS. very quiet community and lots of upgrades happening! Looks good and recommend living here

The maintenance man who fix water heaters and water leaks is highly disrespectful and he threatened my family -Ivy Knoll Apartments

I already filled a police report, he his not aloud any where near my home as long as we live here

I told him to wait outside my door so we can get dressed and let him in and he tried to kick my door open and said let me in I have a key I m not waiting

My neighbor had to scream for him to stop trying to kick my door open while I was half naked

That man is dangerous and should not be around women and children

He s about 5 9, dark hair, Caucasian male maybe in his 40 s or 50 s

He s not allowed in my home
I have a 4 year old daughter and it was almost midnight when he tried to kick my door open and knocking at my door

I highly recommend looking into who owns your future apartment complex/housing unit before renting - and if it is Muesing Management - RUN.
Karen, who is apparently the only person who can handle apartment management is AWFUL. My apartment living experience has been pure hell for the past 3 years yet she refuses to let me out of my lease contract. A neighbor however, was just let out of their lease for the exact same reasons as mine. CRAZY.
Chateau in the Woods is disgusting. FILLED with roaches and CRIME. When the management office can't help you, they unfortunately send you to Karen. She does nothing. I have had personal items stolen, fumes seeping into my apartment (without construction notice) roaches everywhere, bug, clogs, leaks, crazy neighbors and attempted break ins - yet they DO NOTHING. DO NOT move here. You will regret it. Over the 3 years I have had to move out of my apartment for a total of 8 months due to issues with the complex. NOT ONE TIME has management or Karen offered help or compensation. Just overall awful people and experience.

The worst management company I seen. Their apartments have a lot of issues regarding your health. I ve been trying to reach corporate and have not been able to reach them or get a call back. If u could give the a ZERO I would!

For over 8months I have been hearing an animal in my ceiling! I have addressed it with management and they put up a trap n that was it! I started to get brown urine staines in my ceiling with a foul smell. I reported it to the office n it took them 4 months to look into it. Once the did they did nothing until I called the health department. After that they decided to come m paint over it like that would solve the issue. But it didn t it! I still hear something scratching my ceiling everyday and now I have more stains in my ceiling as of 12/1/19! Again contact office via face to face. I was told it s not a raccoon I m hearing it could be a squirrel. My respond whatever it is has been there over 8 months n been peeing in the ceiling. I asked if they could call pets control because their traps are not working. And if they don t fix the roof or holes throughout the building than the issue would never be fixed. I was told the building are old n yes they are but nobody should have to live with animals in their ceiling PERIOD! Not only that have a disable child who has a serious health condition and I will not keep letting this go on! Corporate office has not reach back out. If I were you Don t Move Here! Trust me when I say everyone in my building that lives upstairs are having same issues n nothing is been Done! Which is SAD because they wouldn t want to live like that!!!!!!! I ll give them a ZERO!

Worse experience ever! Took over tree weeks to have my toilet snaked. It was only done after I fell and sprang my ankle coming downstairs to use the restroom. Im sure they're waiting to see if I have contacted an attorney and of course I have. The property manager has no clue what goes on. She told me herself that she had not been made aware of any issue, but she wasted no time bringing me into court once the rent was late. I lost my job due to being off because of my ankle. The office staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. Being a leasing agent at one time I can not believe that a company would allow such disrespect and lack of professionalism. I will never recommend the company or any of the properties to anyone that I know. If you're thinking of Muesing Properties, think again. Read the reviews. Talk to some of the current residents. Stay away from Woods of Castleton!!!!! The one star is only because I like my apartment only hate that Glick sold it.

Horrible place to live Courts of Valle Vista management team is rude, maintenance man did not even know how to fix the dishwasher, I basically got called a liar, now seems they are putting hidden cost in order for me to not be able to get out of my lease. Please is so depressing & I am not allowed to have a small pet there due to noise, but i have to deal with neighbors who are loud go figure. I want out of this place bad!!!!!

This company is by far the worst people I have ever dealt with. Their average 1 star rating speaks for itself. If anyone has the time or energy to take legal action against this company, I would highly recommend doing so. I didn t read too much into reviews before living at one of their properties, and now I can honestly say these reviews are so accurate.
