If I could leave 0 stars I would! I live in Martinique Terrace Apartments and this is the WORST place to live. I wish i would have read reviews before i moved in 3 years ago but i was young and naive. The management sucks and do not care at all about their tenants. I had MULTIPLE leaks from the water heater which soaked my carpets and all they did was stick a large bowl under the water drips to catch it. It took me to call about the issue 4 times before it was properly handled. There were multiple over flows from the apartment above which caused severe water damage to the ceiling and even had parts of my Ceiling fall through! You should see the patch job they did! Absolutely horrible. I had to live with a gaping hole in my ceiling for a week while all my furniture was pushed to one side of the room which didn t allow me or my toddler to even hang out in the main living area... forcing my one year old to hang out in a bedroom all day. Did they care or offer any accommodations? Nope. Black mold all in the bathroom. Called about that on more than 3 occasions and NO ONE EVER CAME OUT. Thankfully we found a beautiful home to rent 2 weeks before our lease was up so we booked it. I still paid the full months rent for March, we just moved our belongings to the new house. We had a few things left in the apartment so we went back once last week to get them and what do we find? Pee that hadn t been flushed along with cigarette butts laying around. Mind you, no one in my household smokes and we also cleaned the apartment top to bottom including toilets before we moved. The apartment was also locked when we went back to get out left over things which means whoever was in there HAS A KEY. Aka MAINTENANCE. Since they knew we were no longer living there, they were using our apartment which was still in MY name as their little hide out while working. I addressed this with the office manager and she did nothing. Useless. Well guess what? We went back to the apartment today (lease ends tmrw) just to do one last check and THERE WERE MORE CIGARETTES AND PEE IN THE TOILET!!! Mind you, we cleaned up after the FIRST incident. The apartment smells of urine because it s just been sitting in the toilets. It s absolutely disgusting and not to mention ILLEGAL for them to be in MY apartment especially since i never gave them permission to enter regardless if I am staying there or not. Them being in there is just asking for damages to be caused that ll be pinned on me. I AM DISGUSTED by the unprofessionalism and carelessness of these nasty property owners.
