Quiet cafe bike with a panoramic terrace overlooking the river. Tasty desserts and great beers
Interesting decor (bikes hanging etc) there is a cycling shop underneath.
One of my favorite places in Bristol for an afternoon bite and a beer or coffee. The fact that there is a great bike shop on the ground floor has absolutely nothing to do with it whatsover...honest. Sit outside (top floor obviously) in summer. Great burgers, and good beers.
The location of mine and my partners first date. Food is very homey and the place has a unique feel to the decoration and layout. If youre in Bristol, worth a visit for sure - if only for a coffee
Great place to enjoy Bristol docks from either casually or for a booked celebration
Lovely place. Beautiful sausage and mash, for adults and kids! Rib eye also fantastic. Lovely staff. Thanks
Lovely setting with great food and drink. The team at the mud dock cafe ensuring social distancing and a prompt table service.
Really relaxed environment and great decor, large enough to feel comfortable getting the laptop out and working for a few hours. A lovely outdoor area with good views of the harbour for when it s sunny. Great food to match
The alcohol-free cocktail is a sickly sweet fruitjuice mix of deliciousness! More than one and you might not have any teeth left though. Lots of room to sit indoors or outside on the balcony overlooking the river, but the staff were a little bit precious over where a group of smokers could sit though. Top of the stairs on the two level balcony was no good, but at the bottom of the steps standing next to the ankles of two diners at the upper level was good.
Quirky little cafe on top of a cycle shop. Enjoyed a great breakfast and lovely coffee
Great food without the eye-watering prices. Plenty of options for vegetarians, vegans and carnivores alike, whether you're looking for a quick snack or a full meal.
Sitting on the terrace means you get great views down the harbour, and you're just far enough away from the big cafes & bars on the waterside to be able to hold a conversation at normal volume levels. Can be a bit breezy though!
Had the cheese ploughman's, which was just a few lumps of cheese, a few scraps of bread, a pickle and tons of oil. I was hungry when I came in, I left almost as hungry. The service was friendly but a disappointing experience.
I confess that I haven't eaten here before, but can certainly vouch for the quality of their coffee.
The cafe is situated above a bike shop, with a rustic feel inside and views across the river. On a sunny day, you can sit on the large terrace and enjoy a drink or a meal - one of Bristol's best unsung spots with a view.
Delicious breakfast with tasty coffee. Full English was amazing my partner commented and the sausage and egg topped sourdough toast was lovely.
I Iove the vibes of this place.
I had a bowl of chicken shawarma and was delish.
Also Alfie couldn't stop watching the steak.
Highly recommended.
Perfect for a sunny day coffee overlooking the harbour.
Very average food, for an above average price. Simply not worth it. I will say good coffee and good decor, but the food let them down. Sticky tables!
I ordered the full English breakfast.
Unfortunately I can only give 5 stars or it would be more!! My Wife had the salmon avo egg toast and I had the full breakfast (cant remember what theyre called on the menu)The quality of every item on our plates was 11 out of 10 even down to the home made baked beans. We visited in the winter but I can see that it would be a fantastic spot in the summer with the roof terrace over looking the water. The staff were also very assertive and made us welcome as soon as we walked through the door even though they were obviously ran off their feet!
Dinner on the terrace was as it should be. Views over the river, pink (obscured) sunset over a cold beer. They have a wide beer selection and an extensive a la carte menu as well as daily specials. Not as much gluten free vegetarian options as I would like but I'm just being very picky (hint - need more carb / stodgy free veg options on restaurant menus)! Apart from that - my companion's grilled sea bass got and although we were super stuffed, we ordered the roasted rhubarb oat crumble pudding and it was piping hot and like a warm hug - as it should be. Oh, we also got chip envy - which we ordered & ate with their chunky tartare sauce - So good! Do it - u won't walk out disappointed! What I REALLY love about this place is that the annoying smokers are not allowed to smoke on the main terrace - there's a lower terrace that smokers are relegated to! Five stars for that!
Lovely terrace, tasty breakfast and hospitable staff.
Has some good beers and a great Balcony with a view of the harbour. Didn't try the food, but looked good from what I saw.
Great cafe even if you are not a biker. Super cool atmosphere
We popped in for what should of been a good breakfast but it didn t really materialise that way...We went for breakfast and we sat outside overlooking the harbour My wife ordered the veggie and I the English breakfast a little slow coming but it was worth it, we were both impressed quality ingredients and cooked perfectly.all in a great setting.
Love to sit out when it's sunny. Great view, nice cold coffee and very friendly staff.
Great venue looking over the docks, plus it has bikes.
Really cool place, nice vegetarian food and great view over The harbor
great view of the river, good coffee, nice design of the place.
Pretty cold welcome this morning. Staff didnt really care about my bike situation. Been before, had great service years ago. No passion. Wont be going back again.
Good breakfast in nice location friendly helpful staff with good service
Never been a customer but when my brand new chain came off its brand new cassette and cogs and some how wrapped itself three times around my pedal I was lucky enough to be opposite the Mud Dock. They very kindly untangled me - not an easy job - and got me back on the bike in 20 mins with a few extra tweaks to ensure it didn't happen again. All free and done with a smile. Big thanks! Will be a customer in the future.
No faults at all, everything was nice and staff were friendly, my only problem was the food wasn't quite to my taste
Gorgeous views of the harbour and yummy food ! Highly recommend
The food was fantastic. Views from the terrace are lovely and the atmosphere was great.
Service is always great, love the atmosphere here, plus it is around the corner from work! food could be a little more consistent, but overall really like this place and I recommend it!
The only reason this isn't 5 stars is because I'm of the 'put it on a plate' persuasion. Otherwise it's great. Good service, great food.
Lovely setting with great food and drink. The team at the mud dock cafe ensuring social distancing and a prompt table service.
Good food, good service, easy cheap parking after 18:00 (weekdays).
Very friendly, great food and quick friendly service. Great to pop in for a quick lunch.
Nice bar , relaxed athmosphere and view. Good drinks selection.
Pretty cool cafe with a massive outdoor terrace and big bright windows that let all the sunlight in. It's above a bike shop and there's cycling related stuff everywhere. The menu is varied and the food was good. As Arnie would say, I'll be back.
Good industrial decor, reasonably good coffee. Pity about the cigarette butts in rain logged ashtrays.
Lovely place to sit outside on a sunny day whatever time of year with fabulous views over harbourside. Really nice casual place to eat lunchtime & evening - small but well thought through menu. Good choice of drinks, coffee & cakes. Less suited to families.
Very good. Great selection of beer. Food and service were good. Great view from the balcony. Will go back.
Great food here. Good mix of healthy options and indulgence. Quite a cool alternative crowd. Very cycling focused lol
If you like food and bikes, this place has you covered.
Good pub, atypical because integrated in a bike shop. Bicycle sellers very competent.
Perfect place for cycling junkies. Cycling deco inside and perfect view for Mshed/river. One of my best places in Bristol. Evening time very busy difficult to get palce on terrace. Amasing place for nice lager/pilsner. Very friendly staff.
Went to look at bikes, stayed for a beer. Beautiful views of the Bristol harbour side
Fine for a quick bite, burger that sort of thing but don't expect a roast on a Sunday you will need to look elsewhere
Amazing views, good beers on tap with a nice selection of spirits and wine. Very nice decor
Very good value for tea for 3 on the terrace. Happened to catch them when the cafe bit was closed so little food on offer, but got the last piece of brownie which was nice.
Food was fantastic. The day I went they didn't serve lunch until 1 (I think). Service was great and the views were spot on. I would definitely recommend.
Best view in Bristol and good food at sensible prices
Really cool place, great coffee and large variety of bikes and accessories downstairs
Very cool vibe, decor is great, food and drink both really nice. A new favourite!
Good place to go for a quick coffee or spend an afternoon relaxing with friends. As you would expect with a bike shop downstairs, there is a large collection of bicycles and bicycle related items on every wall and hanging from the ceiling.
Not everyone's cup of tea but I really like it. Good views if you manage to get a seat outside decent food and beer and friendly staff.
Great place to sit on the terrace in the autumn sunshine and enjoy a drink.
Good quality food, and great terrace with excellent view, but the lacklustre service didn't warrant their compulsory service charge of 10% (I'm a regular tipper too) -
It left me with a sour taste
Great food and choice of drinks with outdoor space overlooking the river
We tried to book and we were told "no reservations" and to just come at 1pm.
When we arrived we were made feel very unwelcome.
There are ways to tell a customer that there is no table available. The service person snorted when we arrived and we were told that it would be an hour for a table. Not great, but no problem.
Then, 20 mins later the rest of our party arrived and we were told it would be 2 -3 hours. They said they did not take reservations but there were several reserved tables.
Who knows what the food is like, we won't be back to try it!! Poor show.
Lovely food, very friendly waiting staff, enjoyed sitting in the sun relaxing
Great hot chocolate. Lovely view over the river and fabulous bike themed interior
Quiet and friendly place. Ideal for studying and quite meetings. Can get busy but still, a relaxing place. Service could be slightly better.
