One of my favorite places in Bristol for an afternoon bite and a beer or coffee. The fact that there is a great bike shop on the ground floor has absolutely nothing to do with it whatsover...honest. Sit outside (top floor obviously) in summer. Great burgers, and good beers.

The location of mine and my partners first date. Food is very homey and the place has a unique feel to the decoration and layout. If youre in Bristol, worth a visit for sure - if only for a coffee

Really relaxed environment and great decor, large enough to feel comfortable getting the laptop out and working for a few hours. A lovely outdoor area with good views of the harbour for when it s sunny. Great food to match

The alcohol-free cocktail is a sickly sweet fruitjuice mix of deliciousness! More than one and you might not have any teeth left though. Lots of room to sit indoors or outside on the balcony overlooking the river, but the staff were a little bit precious over where a group of smokers could sit though. Top of the stairs on the two level balcony was no good, but at the bottom of the steps standing next to the ankles of two diners at the upper level was good.

Great food without the eye-watering prices. Plenty of options for vegetarians, vegans and carnivores alike, whether you're looking for a quick snack or a full meal.

Sitting on the terrace means you get great views down the harbour, and you're just far enough away from the big cafes & bars on the waterside to be able to hold a conversation at normal volume levels. Can be a bit breezy though!

Had the cheese ploughman's, which was just a few lumps of cheese, a few scraps of bread, a pickle and tons of oil. I was hungry when I came in, I left almost as hungry. The service was friendly but a disappointing experience.

I confess that I haven't eaten here before, but can certainly vouch for the quality of their coffee.

The cafe is situated above a bike shop, with a rustic feel inside and views across the river. On a sunny day, you can sit on the large terrace and enjoy a drink or a meal - one of Bristol's best unsung spots with a view.

I Iove the vibes of this place.

I had a bowl of chicken shawarma and was delish.
Also Alfie couldn't stop watching the steak.
Highly recommended.

Awesome!

Unfortunately I can only give 5 stars or it would be more!! My Wife had the salmon avo egg toast and I had the full breakfast (cant remember what theyre called on the menu)The quality of every item on our plates was 11 out of 10 even down to the home made baked beans. We visited in the winter but I can see that it would be a fantastic spot in the summer with the roof terrace over looking the water. The staff were also very assertive and made us welcome as soon as we walked through the door even though they were obviously ran off their feet!

Dinner on the terrace was as it should be. Views over the river, pink (obscured) sunset over a cold beer. They have a wide beer selection and an extensive a la carte menu as well as daily specials. Not as much gluten free vegetarian options as I would like but I'm just being very picky (hint - need more carb / stodgy free veg options on restaurant menus)! Apart from that - my companion's grilled sea bass got and although we were super stuffed, we ordered the roasted rhubarb oat crumble pudding and it was piping hot and like a warm hug - as it should be. Oh, we also got chip envy - which we ordered & ate with their chunky tartare sauce - So good! Do it - u won't walk out disappointed! What I REALLY love about this place is that the annoying smokers are not allowed to smoke on the main terrace - there's a lower terrace that smokers are relegated to! Five stars for that!

We popped in for what should of been a good breakfast but it didn t really materialise that way...We went for breakfast and we sat outside overlooking the harbour My wife ordered the veggie and I the English breakfast a little slow coming but it was worth it, we were both impressed quality ingredients and cooked perfectly.all in a great setting.

Never been a customer but when my brand new chain came off its brand new cassette and cogs and some how wrapped itself three times around my pedal I was lucky enough to be opposite the Mud Dock. They very kindly untangled me - not an easy job - and got me back on the bike in 20 mins with a few extra tweaks to ensure it didn't happen again. All free and done with a smile. Big thanks! Will be a customer in the future.

Pretty cool cafe with a massive outdoor terrace and big bright windows that let all the sunlight in. It's above a bike shop and there's cycling related stuff everywhere. The menu is varied and the food was good. As Arnie would say, I'll be back.

Lovely place to sit outside on a sunny day whatever time of year with fabulous views over harbourside. Really nice casual place to eat lunchtime & evening - small but well thought through menu. Good choice of drinks, coffee & cakes. Less suited to families.

Perfect place for cycling junkies. Cycling deco inside and perfect view for Mshed/river. One of my best places in Bristol. Evening time very busy difficult to get palce on terrace. Amasing place for nice lager/pilsner. Very friendly staff.

Good place to go for a quick coffee or spend an afternoon relaxing with friends. As you would expect with a bike shop downstairs, there is a large collection of bicycles and bicycle related items on every wall and hanging from the ceiling.

Good quality food, and great terrace with excellent view, but the lacklustre service didn't warrant their compulsory service charge of 10% (I'm a regular tipper too) -
It left me with a sour taste

We tried to book and we were told "no reservations" and to just come at 1pm.

When we arrived we were made feel very unwelcome.

There are ways to tell a customer that there is no table available. The service person snorted when we arrived and we were told that it would be an hour for a table. Not great, but no problem.

Then, 20 mins later the rest of our party arrived and we were told it would be 2 -3 hours. They said they did not take reservations but there were several reserved tables.

Who knows what the food is like, we won't be back to try it!! Poor show.
