Mucky Duck Pub Review

Very nice place and was very happy my first time there. Very pleased with service and the food was very good. I would go back again alone or with friends. It very well worth the money. Also it is in key location near highway and hotels. If you want to be out all night this is a good way to make the decision to go here.

Filtht, so-so service. They wouldn't let my 19 yo put Xs on her hands and come in with me at 9pm on a Thursday.

I'm sitting here right now.. it's horrible. My boyfriend had to go get a waitress, more than once.... they just walk past us like we are invisible.. oh wait .. a waitress just asked if I was okay... my waitress is rude.. she doesnt smile or listen.. definitely no manners... oh look , a fight just broke out...I'm leaving soon..

Large tavern has a big outdoor area with a bar. Multiple pool tables. I also saw a basket ball free throw, air hockey, and a large connect four game.
I saw 3 bars in total so there is plenty of places to get a drink.

Almost did not go after reading previous reviews (I am a PoC). Decided to get a quick bite before going elsewhere, ended up having a couple drinks with my girl and even got a complimentary shot for my birthday. Grateful for the positive experience.

Drinks were way overpriced and not that well made. the service was really slow where we were sitting and there wasnt that many people at the bar to begin with. Overall rating D+

My wife and I ate lunch there. The food is good. She liked her chicken wrap and my BLT was good.

I like this bar quite a bit. It has some really good food and good atmosphere. There's an outside patio that looks out over a pond. TVs so you can catch the game. Severs are fantastic.

This is a great place to meet up with friends and have some food and a drink. Thursday night they have trivia. The place is large enough that you can participate or not. They also have a bar and places to sit outside in the back. The staff are wonderful and the bartenders are some of the best.

Love the bar and atmosphere, but we've eaten there four times, and the food has not been good.

Fun place, but bouncer is a little too aggressive towards non aggressive drunks. Drinks are good though.

No place to dance and kind of dark and dingy. Maybe it's better in the summer

I enjoyed this bar that was close to our hotel. They had many TVs with games on, cheap beer and great atmosphere. One room has games and is a mini arcade. They also have a nice patio. The only complaint would be that the beer gets served in plastic cups. I personally hate plastic cups because it changes the taste of beer. However, it does not make my rating worse. This was a fun spot to go.

Friendly staff, good bar food. Would have been a nice time if the patrons sitting behind us didn't sneeze twice (while their mask was off) & they did a poor job at trying to contain themselves. Yuck. #leftimmediately&sanitized

This place is for low class hood rats. Not a dive bar but not a good bar. One of those places you go because it's the only place open.

The final fortress after overtime. The meal is not tasty, but it can be opened till late night to drink beer!

Fun place. Nice water view. Mike was very welcoming and we'll definately go back!

Best bar in town! Going to miss Monday night Drag Queen Bingo though.....sorry they ended it.

Got pretzel bites appetizer that was really good, but our entree which was theIr large meat lover pizza which would have been good if it wasn't so salty. But nous serves Alicia. Was amazing as she is beautiful

Not a big fan of the type of people that go there. But, some of the employees were great assisting me when I lost my friend and phone lol

This bar is one of the best on the South Side. Enormous outdoor patio with a huge pond behind it, karaoke nights, a huge pool table room filled with all other sorts of games. A great place for a fun casual date or to hang with a large group of friends. The food is fantastic and wait staff are professional and courteous. We had a lot of fun here and will be coming back from time to time for sure. Take advantage of awsome food and drink specials. You won't be disappointed.

Food was alright once we got enough attention to order. Bartender sucked, we obviously interrupted his phone time. Hotel next door didn't recommend this place, should've listened.

Love the atmosphere here always a good time. I miss the corn hole and giant chair pics tho !

Mucky Duck Pub has so much to offer not only Decent Music and Good Drinks the food is Great too and also offer games you can enjoy like several Pool Tables and Darts boards and if your a smoker they have an outside deck you can enjoy as well

Tried entering it's premises with my friend and got asked to see a Driver License, plus a extra piece of identification!? Never had that happen to me before and hardly anyone I've seen enter, a club!? Not too big of a problem but when i was asking around on how they do things here, I was getting shocked answers like "no they shouldn't of did that". I don't know, just was too disrespectful because I read what it really was. But I'll move alone and never come back here.

Best bar on the Southside. The GM keeps things organized and safe.

They have had an amazing bartender last server by the name of Edye I have only went there for her the past two birthdays of mine and the only reason I go on weekends. They simply just fired a hard working great employee and the owner/ manager didn't have a reason. Said that in his or her own words. Terrible place and management. Instead of keeping the good workers they keep people around who walk around extremely rude, have no idea about drinks and you can clearly tell some are messed up at work. Not to mention I just called and asked to speak with a manager, the person was rude and hung up on me!

Kitchen took 3 times and 1 hr total to make my salad correctly. I tossed it when I got it because it tasted off.

On Monday they have drag queen bingo. It's a blast. I go with my wife almost every week. The bingo is free. Food is better than average for bar food. Staff is awsome. Rob is a great bartender.

Great outdoor seating! Perfect for social distancing. Lots of pub foid options. They discontinued my favorite specialty cocktail, but I'll get over it.

Terrible place. Used to be the best bar around. Staff is rude, bartender likes to tend to family over customers, pool tables are dirty and missing balls.

Beer warm service less than average, music bad food good menu limited, smelled like needs cleaning. Bartender not care if there, sneaks shots. Not go bac to this chain

Nice location and a great bartender. However, the food was not that great. The menu said fresh made tortilla chips, but these were clearly yesterday's stale chips. Toppings were good, but had multiple cold spots. Hubby ordered the fish and chips, which he liked, but the cole slaw was actually going bad and you could taste it. Patio is wonderful and you can smoke if you like.

Order the drinks and enjoy the patio, but save your money on food.

Awesome atmosphere, and great people. The only thing that would make it better would be heaters or fire pit(s) to be able to enjoy the patio year round

I love that there are three areas to this place. The club side the patio and the side that you play pool on.

Took a seat outside and waited 20 minutes. Finally got hungry enough to leave and find a place that would acknowledge my existence.

Terrible , Extremely disappointed with Staff

Me and my friends have been to Mucky Duck in Indianapolis many times and decided to spend some time on new years at Mucky duck Pub. We were peacefully enjoying the ambience and ordering drinks at the bar. My friend had handed over his credit card to "Amanda" the bartender who came back stating that the card didn't work which was a surprise to him and requested her to try again. Amanda comes back and handed over the bill for his signature as the card had worked. To this , my friend replied "Now it worked?". In response to this, Amanda yells at him and throws a drink all over him which splashed over others at the bar. This was totally uncalled for but we didn't react and kept sitting at the bar. Instead of apologizing and making sure every one has a good night, the security was sent to escort my friend out of the bar which was unreasonable and uncalled for. We still kept our calm and requested to talk to the manager and instead we were repeatedly asked to leave. Such display of ignorance and unethical approach just shows what this place is really about. I hate to say this, but if this is the way you treat people, I rather never go to such a place again. I think Amanda needs remediation as she appeared intoxicated and totally out of control. I hope someone reads this and never lets a customer feel the way we did.

Waited 25 minutes no service ... not even busy. Multiple servers walked by us... nothing. Absolutely pathetic

Fun bar on the weekends there is plenty to do here and great music mostly a younger crowd though

Customer service was HORRIBLE. Thank goodness for Serena who FINALLY waited on me and made sure I received some beverages!

We were passing through on our way to Tennessee from Kenosha Wisconsin.thought we would stop and check out this restaurant and we were not disappointed.I ordered the pork tenderloin sandwich and it was huge! I had to cut half of it off just to fit inside the bun lol. My husband ordered the fish and chips and that was very good also.

I love this place. So much fun! The staff is awesome. I would give it more stars if I could!!!!

Went in a Thursday evening and there was a good crowd there. Mostly people catching dinner of sorts didn't stay long, so didn't get the full vibe of the place
