Tenant should not sign with them if they can so they will not face troubles
Worst letting agency we've ever experienced. Absolutely rude and unprofessional the whole time, literally left the house just to get away from these people. The house needed repairs everywhere throughout which never got done after a whole year, they didn't even cut/tidy the back garden which they said they would then had the cheek to charge money for not cutting it after moving even though it was still in better condition than they had originally left it in, then on top of that charged for cleaning objects (lighting etc) which were permanently stained before even moving in. It was years worth of staining. And the only time they respond to emails or return calls is if they're after money or it's an actual emergency that could get them in trouble for ignoring.
Will be making sure to stay well clear of this agency in future.
I have done business with MTD team for almost 3.5 years as a tenant and I would like to say that they have been the best letting agents I have come across so far. They are very professional and fair and most helpful when you highlight any issues. I would like to thanks Sharon, Lynsey and Sarah for their help and support. Highly recommended!!

I currently rent a house in Liverpool through MTD and I can honestly say the staff are always friendly, polite and helpful in any way they can. We had a few issues and queries regarding the house when we first moved in and Sharon and Lyndsey were nothing but helpful when resolving the issue. They are always a phone call away even joe of we have any issues. Would highly recommend.
Very unprofessional and very poor customer service. Miscommunication between team members is the norm, so is their tendency to give tenants an attitude if they point out their levels of incompetence. Repairs took months to be dealt with from the moment that they were reported. They only sent the contractors after reminding them several times, because they do not keep track of the mails sent by tenants. They tried to take money from the deposit after agreeing in person that that would not happen. Two months after moving out we are still waiting for the cheque for the deposit. This is due to MTD releasing the wrong cheques because their records were wrong, as per usual.
I would give them 0 stars if there was an option for it.
We use MTD for all our properties I've we've always found them to be prompt reliable our tenants are always more than pleased with the way Lynsey and Sharon are with them so to me a happy tenant makes a happy landlord these take a lot of my hands so i can get on with my other priorities. they deal with the good and the bad and never moan about it thank you ladies @ MTD keep up the good work :-)
Extremely rude, slow and unprofessional. Especially the manager called sarah.
I was dealing with them for over 2 years and it was real nightmare and worst experience i could ever have, even my previous landlord mentioned with me that they didn t pay to him on time when i was paying the rent, they were blaming on for not paying until landlord showed up and had a chat with me and found out the truth.
Work to be completed in the flat within the first week were never carried out in the 6 months there. When it came to getting my deposit back, I expected to get a bank transfer but no, stuck in the old days of a cheque that had to be sent to my new address. When it came to the cheque, they were due to send a cheque out and it would be with me before a specified date but I ended up waiting several days after that and when I called to chase it up, no one knew if it had been sent or not! It s now taking several day to clear my cheque when I owe money for the deposit to my new place. Shocking!
Do not use this company. I still get phone calls 3 months later about paying rent to them. I rent from a private Landlord and he was considering MTD and never used them. I have never signed any contract because they cancelled 3 home visits. Unprofessional and herendous customorrow service.
Disgusting lying agency. I dealt with them for three years and had a horrible experience. They never carried out any repairs and never responded to any emails or phone calls, but they showed up at my flat to get their renewal fee every year! They also refused to return my deposit and when I challenged them they bullied me and falsely accused me of not having paid my rent so I started a deposit claim to get my money back. It seems like they try to scare younger or student tenants into over-paying.
This is the most unprofessional lettings agency I have ever dealt with. After having signed the contract, they became rude, unprofessional and unwilling to help and deal with the issues being reported. They do not care about the living conditions provided for the clients and allow for unsafe and unclean properties to be let. Besides if they tell you a property was newly painted you should be aware that the reason for that might have been loads of mould which they are trying to get hidden only so you can sign the agreement and pay them the agency fees and few weeks later when the mould becomes visible they will not be willing to help promptly. I have never had so many problems in a house as with the one let by this agency. Every single person that works there has been unacceptably rude and arrogant and threatening each time you ring them up. According to e-mails, they fail to respond promptly and ignore queries that have been made unless you take this further and report them (MTD).
I have experienced a great service, responce, and understanding from MTD. For the last 5 years, there's always comprehension and satisfaction from all sides (agency, tenant, & landlord). Sarah, Sharon, and the whole team deals with clients like a family rather than just a business deal. I greatly recommend MTD!
