Ordered a carburetor for my snowblower on their website. They gave me a tracking number the next day. The part still hasn't left the warehouse 2 weeks later. I called 1 week into the order, and the customer service rep said it should ship out in a day or so. Its still not here, its the middle of wintertime and I have a snowblower I can't use.

Not only is the campus of the headquarters beautiful, but the staff is wonderful and quick to help. The products are tremendous, and the brand names precede themselves well. Buying products from them will be a pleasant experience, and the product will last you!

Is it common practice for your employees to go out to eat, order lots of alcohol, rack up a $200+ bill, then pay for all of it with the company card and tip 10%? I really didn t appreciate having to wait on 9 chauvinistic men and then have to tip out the bar and make nothing for the time I spent waiting on them. If the way your employees treat their servers is an indication of how you treat your customers, I foresee a lot of bad things in this company s future.

Used the Canadian subsidiary to order a part. After a week no part, they sent Purolator, who claim mechanical issues and haven't delivered. No problem charging me though. Stay away if you want the part

Unfortunately, the engineer/designers must not use the machines. Stupid design mistakes would have been cured years ago.
Send designers to a repair facility for training, so they see how many errors they made.

I have a terrible experience with this company. I bought an electric battery Remington lawn mower from them and it was a nightmare. Every year the charger broke down and I had to get a new charger. That's not the worst part though. When I called the customer service to get a new charger this time, I was not sure if it is a bad charger or the battery has gone bad. So I asked for the charger return policy so I can return it, if it does not charge the battery. They said that as soon as you plug it in, you cannot return it any more, because it is considered used. I asked to talk to the supervisor, they put me on hold for about 15 min. and then somebody else from the company answered and simply hung up on me! Needless to say that I am pretty pissed off and I'll write a complaint to BBB or other sites as well, as soon as I get some time.

Obviously, I will never buy anything from this company any more. For me, customer experience is more than half of the deal - so even if the product was good (which it wasn't) , I would not tolerate it.

The short story is I purchased from Home Depot on line the Cub Cadet 24" Two Stage Snowblower + Protection Plan Dec 15, 2016. Reside in Bucks County PA (Close to Phila). Used it several times that season, with no issues.. Followed the manual instructions and stored Sta Bil additive between season. No problem 2017 - 18 season. When attempted to start in Oct 2018, wouldn't kick over. After a few weeks in dealing with Home Depot and the listing of authorized dealers, had to find my own. 1 of the Service centers no longer seviced MTD/Cub Cadets and the other was in Central NJ and would not service this area. Found Star Lawnmower a authorized reputable service center. Worked out with (Asurion) who will reimburse you for the pickup and drop off. The Equipment comes with a 3 YEAR MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY. Essentially was told by the TECH that worked on it that the CONSUMER SHOULD ONLY USE PREMIUM FUEL and the QUALITY OF FUEL IN THE AREA THE PAST 2 YEARS HAS WORSENED AND STABILIZERS WOULD NOT WORK. Thus, MTD REJECTED COVERING THE COSTS UNDER THE WARRANTY. I spoke to a representative at MTD Tech Support Warranty Jim R Nov 20, 2018 10:50AM. He stated if I could provide the stabilizer receipt, he would do a 1 time credit. I sent a copy of an AMX Purchase, March 5, 2018 which I strongly belive to be the purchase for $10.55 from Walmart Bensalem / Neshaminy PA store. Spoke to Walmart Corporate and have documented emails. Walmart Store Manager, Robert Mann and hit a dead end with both Corporate and the Store. The Store Manager initially told me they could go back to March receipts, but then didn't return my calls. I confirmed Dec 21. 2018 that I am going to be reimbursed for the $55.00 pick up and drop off, from Asurion.

Additionally, the ONLY way to truly store the snowblower during the off-season is to RUN THE SNOWBLOWER OUT OF GAS. PURCHASE PREMIUM GAS FOR THE FOLLOWING SEASON, CLOSE TO THE START OF THE SEASON. USE TRUEFUEL! THERE IS NO WHERE IN EITHER MANUALS THAT STATES THIS! MTD HAS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WILL CONTINUE TO VOICE MY DISPLEASURE AND ESCALATE THE MATTER. THE MTD MANUAL NEEDS TO BE RE WRITTEN FOR THE CONSUMERS PROTECTION! I received the aforementioned from Star Lawnmower Technician, as well as confirming this with MTD representative.

I will be start the process by filing a claim to the BBB and writing a Google Review.

I will also voice my displeasure to the media if necessary, as this issue should have been covered my the MTD manufactures warranty and I am certain others have had the same issue.

Please note that the crankcase breather on B&S motors must be attached to the nipple on the air cleaner for the system to function. Failure to do so will result in premature engine wear as contaminants enter the crankcase and carb. This connection is not visible without removing the motor cover so the defect will not be known to end user until motor failure occurs, likely after the warranty expires.

Cub Cadet Zero Turn RZT50 burns circles in your grass when you are idling from the exhaust. Customer Service wouldn't fix the problem by offering to have a heat plate put on to. I'll never purchase an MTD product again.
