Had a great experience at Mt. Everest. The assistance was amazing. Great, patient, knowledgeable sales staff. Prices were good - everything was 50% off and selection was decent for the end of season sale. If not for the help we received, may not have been able to successfully outfit the family for next year. The women in the front knew their merchandise. They were patient with our 7 year old. We were overwhelmed - so their assistance appreciated. Joe in the back had the patience of a saint for the 4 children who came for equipment. We were a bit clueless. All was explained, kids were fitted. Even the people who put the bindings on for the kids were friendly. Everyone all set - had to weigh in on this positive experience.

Good selection of ski equipment, decent promotion towards the end of the season. Their boot fitting service is also very good and it is free if you buy boot from them. They charge you mounting fee even if you bought both ski and binding from them which I find it a bit surprising as usually it is complimentary in this circumstance.

The staff is always so helpful and always steer my the correct way on purchases.

Called over the phone if i can exchange a snowboarding jacket that i received as gift 4 months ago. Its still UN used with all the tags on it. Women over the phone confirmed yes, I can.
I went to the store and the cashier said policy is 1 month and wont be able to exchange it or do a store credit. After negotiating, she said she can exchange but there was no right size of the same jackets so i asked for store credit.
Women said can give me store credit based on current discount of 50% while the jacket was bought on 40 % what would be $20 less. But the current discount on the jacket was still showing 40%.
Still a good deal as she went over the store policy for returns and exchanges.
4 Stars as in general, Mount Everest is expensive store comparing with other stores.

They have almost everything for skiing and snowboarding! The staff is friendly and helpful! It's one of the only places in the area that has a wide variety of winter clothes and winter sport equipment!!

Terrible service. Over priced even for a local business. Good selection but rude staff. I bought elsewhere where they value customers more. Too bad.

the hours listed on google are not the store hours. for what ever reason they were closed up to a full hour early with no notice. It was very annoying but online notice would have solved it. more review to come in the future.

Bought a pair of snowboard boots for my son 2 years ago. The lace broke last year. I brought it in a week ago and they fixed it for me on the spot!! Noel was amazing, polite, and helpful. The customer Service in Mount Everest in Westwood NJ is what keeps me coming back! Cant wait for the Stadium sale...new board jackets and pants are needed! Thank you Mount Everest for your professionalism and quality products. I am always impressed!! It's nice to support a local store instead of the big name brand joints. You guys are the best!!

We usually get our pool supplies here. The prices are a little steep but it's the only place nearby.

This store have a very bad policy with Ski rental deposit. First of all they will not return your deposit once you return the skis or snowboard. They will tell you that the deposit is returned on the beginning of the next ski season. ** I returned 1ski set and 2 snowboards in February ** In the beginning of the season September i went back to get my deposit back. They told me that it will be mailed shortly. It is October now and they say that they CANNOT give the money, but to use as a store credit or use for the next rental. In the end i had to spend the store credit in overpriced product. I truly believe that you will have a very unpleasant experience in this store.

We rented equipment for the season. Great friendly staff. I thought I'd find more attractive prices at a bigger store for clothing but I came back to my Everest and found good deals on high quality outerwear. Bring someone who's owned snowboarding equipment all my life and switched to skiing I intend to rent from here every season instead going forward.

I went in to purchase a ski jacket for my grandson. I am not familiar with the store so i was glad when a salesperson offered help. He directed me to someone in the department who could and did help me . In less than half an hour, I purchased a top ski jacket for my grandson and it was on saie! I would recommend this store, even if i don't ski.
