Quick and efficient service, very pleasant and knowledgeable mechanics.

I have just use MS autos for the first time to service my A4 convertible, and they have been brilliant. Excellent communication and they collected and delivered my car for me from home. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone!!

Awful service tried ripping me off charged me without fixing the problem stay away is the best option.

Bob at the above accurately diagnosed and repaired a worn engine mount in my 2010 A5 3.0 TDI yesterday and the car has never felt better. He also encouraged me to have the 3D alignment done after the subframe was dropped and there are many who will shortcut around this, not Bob!

He told me what the price would be in advance and it turned out just below, so as you can imagine, I am very pleased.

Will be back but hopefully not too soon!

My SEAT Ibiza had suddenly developed a heap of problems; air flow, EGR, cam sensor.. the lot!

In fixing the problem, they found others and ultimately a faulty ECU (engine computer).

They managed to source another 2nd hand one. Long story short is that the entire job, including labour, a new EGR and replaced ECU came to less than a main dealer had quoted just for replacing the EGR.

It's a small, back-street, oily and honest sort of place, and the bloke who fixed my car, Bob, is a man-mountain and master mechanic!

Things were explained clearly and I felt neither patronised nor intimidated.

I'd happily recommend this place, especially if you have a dodgy EGR valve (indicated by curly glow-plug light flashing on dashboard).

Honesty is the best policy and these guys have that in bucket loads! My car didn't start and the AA dropped it to MS Autos at my request and I received a call from MS Autos the next day to say collect the car as it started and nothing is wrong with it. Now how many mechanics do you honestly know that will do that after you send them a car on a recovery?? I think not many as that is a golden opportunity for someone to make some money. I highly recommend this garage and the owner and staff have integrity and will not look to make an extra penny for no reason. I have sent some female colleagues and friends and they especially find this reassuring. The quality of the work also matches the service which is great! Thanks MS Autos.

Very Impressed most helpful went the extra mile sorted the cruise control and the parking assist. Could be a bit cleaner just the mats into reception are not good. However very good service well use again for sure.

So your diagnose equipment have mentioned it say intermittent fault with my vehicle but how come? I though you expert specialist didn t work.
You have all the latest diagnostic equipment and tooling to ensure it is intermittent fault. So I told you that agreed my authorisation that you can carry out any work. I came into your company due there it is still dashboard warning occasional. Yes I won t leave my vehicle with you. I preferred and stay to see you work into engine real my eye see them, rather than without know.

I think advise you and please take your time without rushing like How to Juggle both around different checked every vehicle. It might make you lack of concentrated, which I have noticed you on juggle isn t good. I think you should one time force concentration on engine without juggle check every vehicles. I understand there are very few staff in your company.

You don t have never always rare honest and more than fair, because I can see read your face expression seem frustrated and little aggressive, well part of your job which I paid for it.

I won t leave my vehicle with you, that my decide. As I knew some garages have cowboy for money like you.

the best VAG automotive garage in reading I have found so far.. Mr MS talks to the point of the problem and does the job very well.. Recently got my audi fully serviced and got my turbo cleaned.. and not to mention that the price is considerably very reasonable too. highly recomendable.

Dealt with MS Autos since it first opened. Since then swapped a few VAG cars (VW Passat, Bora, Audi A4), always servicing and repairing there. Fairly priced, honest and prompt service. Would recommend.

Nice people to deal with, fast and cost effective service. The premises are not "bling" like franchised dealers but don't be put off as they know what they are doing and probably why they can do such a good job at a reasonable price.

Finding this absolute gem of a garage was just what I needed, as all the main VW agents have shut their workshops due to the virus. I was having issues with my VW California - they diagnosed the problem and completed the work very efficiently and to very high standard using genuine VW parts. I would highly recommend them to you- it was so nice to find such an honest, efficient and cost conscious garage, I will now be using them exclusively from now on.

I took my t5 camper van into Ms autos because it went into "limp home" mode when I drove in the rain . They diagnosed the problem and fixed it the next day ready for a trip to the peaks! It lashed down in the peaks and I had no further problems! Very pleased with the service. Thanks guys!

I have two not-so-new cars in my household, which are requiring an attention now and then. I have tried the number of different garages in the town before I was recommended to visit MS Autos.
Since then I am finding myself turning back to them more often than ever. MS Autos are honest and competent. However their strongest point is that they value the customer time and ready to go an extra mile to accommodate your circumstances. I have been there on the number of occasions including MOT, servicing, small and medium repairs. They are always busy, but at no time I felt that I spent more time with MS Autos than required. Their team is really efficient and they are always honest about every aspect of the job they do. I highly recommend MS Autos.

Took my audi a4 2.0t for a crank oil seal gearbox end today and they were very friendly and helpful after a bad experience with a DIFFERENT garage and completed the job at an extremely reasonable price and solved all of the other issues that arose from poor workmanship from the other place that tried to do the same job, EXCELLENT SERVICE and will be using them from now on to look after my vehicle

We save the expensive main dealer costs of servicing as MS Auto are specialist in all makes and models. I would highly recommend MS Auto for your services as you will always be given honest advise and you will always end of saving money on servicing and general maintenance repairs.

I booked them for an mobilmecanick and after 3 re schedule because they were too busing to do the time which the accepted Robert did not come for the service which he was planned an Sunday between 10-12 am. I have to phone him personally and I was not receive like an customer should be. He complain about the fact that I live 48 min from him and that I was not wake up during the time he choose to repair my car. Totally unprofessional from him as the fact I moved 2 time the date to make him come to fix my car.

I was not polite and not apologize about the fact he missed 3 time his scheldule that he requested from me.

I understand that people could be busy but when you move 2 time the appointment you should be more apologize and respectful about the customer.

Maybe this review will have no impact about his work load, but I prefer let him know that I am not happy about his services.

Price was raisonnable online but finally the price is in accordance with the quality of service.

My car is due for service again soon but will be looking elsewhere. Had my Audi A1 serviced in August 2018. All prices are quoted ex-VAT and this wasn't mentioned - why not just be up front ?, I remember the courtesy car was absolutely filthy inside with old McDonalds on floor - If I owned a garage I would NEVER offer a car in this state to my customer. It's a shame as not much other choice for VAG specialist in Reading

Superb service for a reasonable price! I went for a full maintenance which has been done quickly and efficiently. I have had a minor issue slightly afterwards and even though it was not caused by the actual maintenance, master technician Maiwand has not only resolved it in a very professional manner, but has also provided me with detailed explanation regarding the cause and how to prevent such problem in the future.

Have been going to this place since 2012 for Audi A6 and A3 service, and for other technical mechanical problems. Maiwand knows in and out of most cars in the market and I would recommend MS Autos for any issues you have with any car. They will match the price reasonably but you get a good quality of work done.

Very poor experience here. My Fabia vr s needed new clutch and they collected My car from home but left me without a car for almost 2 weeks. When I complained about time scale,they said it was because they were short staffed

I was quoted 2 different prices and When I queried this was told they would honour the lowest price! Which had to be paid before the released car.
When they collected My car there was no protective plastic used by their driver on seats. I had to keep chasing them to ask when my car would be ready and kept getting fobbed off with poor excuses. Finally got my car back after numerous phone calls made by me, 2 days later than promised. Again no protective plastic covering on seats, and a big scuff mark on my car that wasn't there previously.
When I pointed this out and complained, they said they would look at cctv to see how it happened. I made 2 further phone calls to ask what they were doing about the scuff marks and was told they were still looking through CCTV footage.

I emailed a complaint to Mawand who owns the garage and never even received a reply.
Would never use them again and would definitely NOT recommend.
I am being very generous in giving them One Star!

I have always been happy with the work and the price. I trust them.

I liked the service but when I was quoted over the phone (asked twice to confirm as considered to be good value) I was given net amount that did not include VAT! Made HUGE difference to my final bill!!

Good service. Generally cheaper than Audi, though very disappointing that the haldex service for the 8V chassis doesn't include the pump filter clean. It's widely documented online that this should be done when changing the oil to reduce risk of pump failure. Audi France now do this as part of their service, for whatever reason Audi garages in the UK (including Ms Autos) don't but many other specialists do.

I have been using MS Autos for diagnosis and repair work on my Audi cars since 2017. Never had a problem. Always been happy with their work. Their hourly rate is *significantly* lower than any Audi dealer. I have come to particularly appreciate and trust their experience to discuss alternatives and suggest what work is worth doing and how to do it depending on the age/condition of a particular car and how much you need to rely/are willing to spend on it.

Would highly recommend this garage. I took my Skoda Octavia in for an intermittent EPC light and did a great job diagnosing the problem and cleaning the Turbo actuator and managed to speak to the owner who gave me great advice on how I may be able to avoid a more expensive Turbo replacement. The receptionist was very helpful and was always available when I called and she even returned calls promptly. I even received a text when my car was ready for collection.

Hassle free quick service, had my audi a3' s cambelt changed. So far the car seems to be driving ok :)

Have been using MS Autos for many years now. Just had my Audi S5 Diagnosed and Resolved for a door locking issue. Excellent service as always. I have total trust in there skill sets and experience. Good place to get your car fixed, if you have Audi, VW any any of its other sister variant.
They know these cars well

They have been unable to turn off the Audi service lights. They promised many times to do so but never return calls when promised. The service carried out left the car interior with an oily smell.
After a lot of trying they eventually turned off the lights. 11 months on and 6000 miles the service light returned. For a long life oil service this is incorrect. Taken to another garage I am informed the reset was incorrectly done. It had been reset for a standard service. It seems Audi make it difficult for independent garages so I am increasing my rating.

Know the owner, Maiwand for a long time and in the pat 7 years MS Auto was the first place to go to when I had any issue with my Vw. Fair price, honest advice and VW dealer quality service (they do all makes and model but their knowledge in German cars is second to none )

Very professional service. Old Porch needed specialist work, problem solved over the phone very quickly and in the most cost effective way on the both times the car has been for M.O.T and Serviced. The garage is happy for me to get contact for advice over the phone when needed. Am very happy to come back again and the prices are very fair for the type of car.
