Mr. MUDD

Mr. Mudd has done two jobs for me now. Each time they were easy to work with and did exceptional work. The first job was an RV driveway and pad, along with extending my patio by 20 feet. The second job was an 8x12 shed pad. The size of the job did not matter, I was treated fairly and professionally each time.

They were about $500 less than a competing concrete contractor and I am very pleased with the end product. Looks great and service was very good.

These guys did an awesome job! I had a section of patio added on in my back yard and from the first phone call all the way to the clean up they did a very professional and great job! Would definitely recommend Mr Mudd all the way!

I had a drive way extension done & had an excellent experience from start to finish. The tech made sure to communicate with me on everything, they finished earlier than expected, left instructions for after care & even called me a week later to follow up. They have awesome customer service, I couldn't have asked for a better company.

Mr. Mudd is the best in town! I love my stamped concrete fire pit! It's been about 5 years and it still looks like new! Brian and Terra Wheeler are great owners. I recommend Mr. Mudd for any concrete needs!

Very poor service from Mr. Mudd. When the homeowner decides to withhold payment for shoddy work, Mr. Mudd threatens to file a LIEN immediately without helping the client out with a better job or at least reducing costs for the mess ups. THIS WAS A POOR CHOICE OF CONTRACTOR ON OUR PART and we'll never hire them again.

Unfortunately my review will be mostly negative. I will say first off though, after sending them an email for an initial quote, they responded promptly and sent a sales rep out shortly thereafter. His name was Byron and he was a nice, friendly guy. He showed up on time for our appointment and I showed him the project I was working on (An Irrigation Box). I had the form already prepared for the concrete pour. He took dimensions for me and acknowledged that it was a time sensitive project, due to the irrigation season starting soon. He informed me that they were busy, and that it could be a week before he had a quote for me, and I understood as the weather is getting nicer. A week went by and I hadn't received a quote, but noticed my next door neighbor had a Mr Mudd truck outside his house one morning on my way to work. The next day they were out pouring him a driveway extension. Due to the time sensitivity of the project, I went and bought a pallet of concrete and poured it all myself. My bill for the concrete was $149.69, and I had purchased 6 bags more than I needed. So that was really an inexpensive way to go. Two weeks later (A month after the original inspection), I finally received a quote from them, with vague details about the itemized cost, other than an overall total. That being $700, I don't think it was a great or even reasonable deal. I understand them needing to make money as a business, but to me it didn't seem worth it to pay them $550 to spend a few hours filling my mold. It appears to me, based on their other reviews and fore stated experience, that they specialize in doing slabs/patios/driveways, and seem to be prompt about it even in the busy season. Unfortunately they seem to lack in responsiveness to more custom projects. Sorry for the bad review, but this was my experience.

I just had them extend my patio, pour a new hot tub pad and put in some decorative elements as well. They were punctual, polite and ALWAYS cleaned up at the end of each day to make sure no dirt, cement, etc. was left in the front of my house- which I'm sure my neighbors appreciated. They worked hard and efficiently and I'm SO HAPPY with how the patio turned out. They did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend them.

Just had Mr Mudd pour a foundation for a 16X20 shop im building on my property. I work professionally building sheds and shops and have seen many bad concrete jobs. The crew was very quick and cleaned up very well when they were done. The pad itself is less than 1/8in out of level in any given spot. It is less than 1in out of square. Since the walls will be flush with the pad I was happy to see that it was about as perfectly straight as you can get on every side. I'm very pleased and would definitely recommend them.

Mr. Mudd showed up on site, on time, ready to deliver. The office support staff were extremely helpful in answering questions and providing explanations. The best! I've known the folks for years and use them for every concrete job to include my residences and businesses. Brian and Terra go out of their way to make the customer happy. I recommend Mr. Mudd!

All employees were professional and kind. They were in and out in a flash with my driveway replacement. These guys dont mess around! Job well done!

Originally Mr. Mudd was further out, but we went with them based on recommendation from a friend. So glad we did! They did an amazing job!! We always knew what to expect next from scheduling to work being completed. They seemed like the experts compared to the other bids we got- just were more knowledgeable overall. Our concrete driveway and other look excellent- and there wasn t a trace/mess of them being here. Will definitely use again on future projects!

We had issues with our front sidewalk sinking. Mr. Mudd and his crew set up an appointment, and were very professional with the job they did in raising our sidewalk. They were prompt and the clean up was excellent. They even gave us a military discount. Highly recommend Brian Wheeler and his crew for outstanding work. Job well done.

Excellent service. Showed up on time for concrete delivery, and helped with the pouring and finishing. Additionally, the volumetric truck they used saved us money as we ended up needing less concrete than we originally ordered. Would definitely recommend using their services.

On time and on budget. Quality work and the finished product is attractive. I had a lot of gravel in the area they were to cover with concrete and I asked them to save much of it. They left me with one yard of gravel short and hauled away the rest. They made a special trip to bring the gravel back, which they didn't really have to do. Good folks. Thanks.

I had concrete lifting done on my front patio. The entire experience was professional. The equipment broke mid job. They did an amazing job of communicating with me during the delay. I know problems happen and I could not be more happy on how they responded to it. If you have any concrete that is out of level due to settling this is an awesome process and drastically improved my patio. Thank you for all your hard work.

Mr. Mudd is the only company I got bids from because my family has done a fair amount of work with them and my dad and sis always said to use no other company for patio needs. I love this company. Brian is awesome. He really worked with me financially and in my opinion gave me a great bid even though he knew I was getting no others--I was honest about this--I told him it was a matter of whether I could get the job done sooner or later, not a matter of whether I walked to another company. He worked with me from a variety of angles and made this possible. This all occurred 1 year ago and now they are honoring a warranty issue in the next month. I had and still have no doubts they will get the job done right. I had no complaints with any of the crew either. The warranty issue is one that could have happened with any company. I'm just happy to be connected to a company that stands by their word as that has not often been my experience in this town within various specialties/companies. I have recommended Mr. Mudd to many folks and have told people other than one other project I've had done (my blinds in which I also only trust 1 company), I usually get multiple bids before embarking on a project. It is a testament to this company that I refused to go with any other for my needs.

Had Mr. Mudd pour a concrete patio 12 by 10 last month. Had them move a few sprinker head too. A guy I spoke with Ardi didn't have good people skill. After showing him what I wanted done, he was short and rude with me. After the crew done with their work. They left garbage and chunks of concrete in many spots in my back yard. The crew was also loud bunch and left behind bottles and cans. The work I requested was not done correctly. My calls went ignored for weeks.

Communication is very poor and customer service does not exist. Major renovations being done without proper notice. Unable, or unwilling, to provide a schedlule for the scope of work. Said it was going to be done in phases but did it all at once. It is effecting all the businesses in the building.

Mr Mudd put in a backyard patio for me. Byron, Rex, Brandon, Ardi, and the entire team did a great job from beginning to end. They answered all of my questions and the quality was better than expected.

Got an estimate in July to level my sidewalk where water was pooling and leaking into the basement. They did the work in late Aug/early Sept. Unfortunately they lifted the wrong side of the sidewalk section, making the problem worse. Rather than contact me about how to fix it, they put a big ugly patch where the sidewalk meets the steps (the original sinking had cracked open a gap). I expressed my displeasure, and they said they would send the owner out to look at it. Their office still emailed me a final invoice a couple days later. I replied I wouldn't pay it until it was fixed. Two weeks later the owner came out to look at it. He admitted the patch was sloppy and said sometimes the lift process doesn't work as intended. He said they'd waive the original invoice and cut me a deal on replacing the affected sections. I said that was fine so long as it was done before the winter rains came in and caused more flooding. End of Sept I got an invoice for the new work. It was a couple hundred more than the original job, which was reasonable. I agreed and was told someone would call to schedule. A week later the office said they'd schedule me for sometime in Feb. I said that wasn't acceptable. Eventually got them out in late October to replace it. The final job was high quality and within my budget. Advise others contracting with Mr Mudd to stay on top of them and not pay until the job is complete.

What I liked best about my experience with Mr. Mudd is that even though my project wasn't that big, they took their time and made sure the finished sidewalk looked great! They really cared about how well it looked! I would definitely recommend Mr. Mudd to anyone looking for a quality concrete contractor!!!

When they came out for the estimate, I think it was the owner and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. He instill confidence in us. We talked about what we wanted and when they could do the work. We sorted out the details and then the start date came and went with no one arriving to do anything. Later they did the work, but left tools and garbage all over the yard. When it rained, the water pooled in the patio and the owner came out again. "I wouldn't have poured it that way" was his response... A few days later they came out unannounced and cut a two foot section out of the patio to create a slope for the water, but no one poured the new sloped section. It just sat there incomplete for over a week. When it was finished, I pointed out these difficulties (and the fact that they left footprints in the patio) and was told "Well, it's really hard to find good concrete guys." Don't I know it!

Mr Mudd has done a few jobs for us and all had great results. They leveled a sidewalk in our previous home which increased safety and curb appeal. We had them even concrete pads around our pool area that shifted over time giving a cleaner look. I've had some follow up requests for minor repairs and they have honored their work. I would recommend their services.
