Great wedding party experience here. They were well-equipped to handle our block reservation, and were responsive when we needed to add more rooms - twice. The rooms are great, given how new and modern it is. The group rate made it more affordable. Front desk staff was very helpful throughout the whole weekend, from accommodating early check-in (if possible), to handing out gift bags, to helpful us correct some errors in bills upon checkout. Location is great; walking distance to all of downtown, campus, and farmer's market.

Great property very well located for visiting downtown Holland and Hope College.

New and clean is the only positives for this place.
Train horns and unusually loud door locks kept us up most of the night. The rooms do not muffle any sound between themselves or the halls.
Was charged a $40.00 for incidentals without a word spoken to me. Can I have the card you used to book the stay through the third party
Nothing beyond that was mentioned.
Overall we checked out a day early and we won t go back.

It's very clean, the staff are energetic, friendly, and welcome. The atmosphere is open and inviting, plus one can never go wrong with a Starbucks in the lobby haha

Clean and pleasant. The staff are nice and polite, but it's a little pricey for Holland.

This hotel is in the perfect location if you're interested in all the downtown has to offer. We've enjoyed the shops, restaurants, parks, and walking through the historic district. Our room was beautiful and had a balcony. Though we didn't take advantage of it, the hotel offers a Starbucks bistro and bar & grill. I wish the Starbucks allowed you to use your mobile app pay though. Friendly staff and great pool, hot tub, and fitness center!

Pros: Style and cleanliness is amazing. People are friendly.
Cons:
*parking a block away because the parking lot is so small.
*Lights in our room are always flickering from dim to bright every few mins atleast.
*Thermostat keeps resetting so the room gets very cold if you leave and come back.
*No microwave and fridge is VERY small so you HAVE to get food from their restaurants even if you just want a snack.
* fridge doesnt stay cold you have to push a button inside of it every 2 hours.
*wifi doesn't work in the room.
We are currently considering just going home. Since this is our second room. The first one we got was not even the room we reserved.

The bar is ok a lots of nasty people go there to dance

Really nice hotel. I have stayed at Courtyards not nearly this nice in larger cities. The rooms have a modern feel and the balconies are a nice touch.

Very clean interior. The service is great. People are nice. There is also starbucks inside the hotel.

Met friends in the lobby/coffee shop area for Bible Study. It's the perfect meeting place!

Mediocre at best. Wings were ok. Sauce is a lot like Bdubs. I wonder if it's a GFS thing. My honest opinion.

Had a dinner at the bar. Great sports bar style food. Good variety of sandwiches, appetizers, and even sides to a sandwich, ranging from chips, fries, onion rings, and tater tots.

Right downtown Holland. Walking distance to food and entertainment. Decent workout room. Nice, but small, indoor pool. The pool does have a lift to assist people who otherwise can't get into the pool. Breakfast with reservation only provided if you book online, which isn't available if you need the wheelchair accessible room.

A friend and I had lunch at the Courtyard's "Big E's Sports Bar". We both had the lunch pizza buffet, and there were many options that were both fresh and delicious. Our children had their own meals, which were huge in portion and tasty. We will definitely be back!

Beautifu,modern hotel with excellent service...no complaints. Oh, and indoor/outdoor hot tub was much appreciated. :)

We stayed here for a wedding and found it to be super clean and comfortable.

Nice location, fun flame box at sidewalk dining, but stopping there for food found the Starbucks $4 small hot chocolate pricey.

There are always new staff here, so the service is clunky. Plenty of TV's and large beer selection.

Best damn Courtyard in the country. Hands down.

I travel a lot. I fly all over and I stay at a lot of Courtyards. This one is head and shoulders above the rest. It's so good in fact that when my wife and i need a couple days away we travel 11 miles to this Courtyard and stay a couple days.

It's new, elegant without being ostentacious, right in downtown Holland (which is a ball), and it has Big Es on the main floor.

Big E'S is the best sports grill in any Courtyard anywhere. The food is good, they are open late, they have a list a Mile long of craft beers....it's just....so....good.

Stay here. Walk on our heated sidewalks. (We get 140 inches of snow a year...so...we take hot water from the electric plant and reuse it. Smart.)

Nice modern hotel on 8th st in Holland, steps from New Holland.

The room was clean and pretty, and the bathroom was gorgeous. The staff was very helpful and friendly and even got us checked in hours early when we asked, which was important to me. The hotel is centrally located, too, within walking distance to everything. I highly recommend this hotel.

The best hotel in the downtown Holland area with free city parking nearby. Rates can get a bit ridiculous during busy wedding weekends in the summer but a great option any other time of year.

Shame on you for not allowing a girls hockey team a stay at your hotel. You give Marriott a bad name.

Clean rooms, recently renovated with modern look. Very comfortable bed. Surrounding neighbourhood is lovely with lots of restaurants.

Very nice although the refrigerator didn't appear to be working nor did the temperature thermostat.

Excitement reigned during the Women's World Cup soccer match - good food also.

Location of hotel is perfect for all downtown activities (ie. Visiting the greatest brew pub in Michigan). Hotel is new, clean, open and flowing with all the amenities you could want or ask for. By the way, did I mention it's stumbling distance from the New Holland Being Pub on 8th?? I think I should reinforce this fact one more time, GREATEST BREW PUB IN MICHIGAN!

Loved the decor at the bar. We had great service and enjoyed the atmosphere. Drink prices were comparable to other bars in the area and the food smelled amazing even though we didn't order anything for ourselves.

Nice place to grab apps and beers. They had a huge tap list. The spinach and artichoke dip was really tasty.

The restaurant is a great place for grabbing food and catching any sporting event.

Beautiful hotel with wonderful staff. I mentioned that we were staying for our anniversary and they made our stay special. They even provided a voucher for our breakfast the next morning.

I had lunch at the restaurant in the hotel. From what I could tell about the hotel as I passed through, it was very clean. The restaurant was nice. They had a wide variety of food and the lunch buffet had some great food on it.

Big E's sports bar is a fun place to eat and have some drinks. The pizza pinwheels are also a good choice for an appetizer.

Visited the restaurant. Service was sub par. Restaurant seemed understaffed especially for a Friday night.

Went to Big E's for dinner and drinks. Good food and selection of adult beverages. Waitress was a wee bit slow at times even though the place was not too busy. Overall, still 5 stars!

Clean, friendly and accommodating staff. Big , spacious rooms. Newly opened & extremely trendy. Starbucks in lobby. Free wifi. Allowed early and late check in/out. the hotel bistro offered food for breakfast and lunch on christmas day and the restaurant in the hotel was open on christmas evening. All good options. Definitely will make this a repeat trip!

The doors are so heavy to open i would bee concerned that my elderly parents would not be able to open them to get in or out comfortably. The shower pressure was very low. That could be a local issue though. The staff was exceptional. The balcony is a lovely touch.

The food and drinks were good! Went there for a bachellorret party... service could use work. Our waiter was rude.

My wife use to work at this location and has not a single negative thing to say about working for both Marriott and Suburban Inns. We recently had family stay there for the tulip time festival because we ran out of room at our house and our guests LOVED the hotel. They said that Eric and Nick did a wonderful job and were very kind and accommodating. We also used this hotel for our group block when we got married and it was so smooth! All of our family and friends who stayed at the hotel had a blast and the location was very convenient for going out after the wedding. 5 stars to a great hotel and a great company to work for. We do miss our Marriott discounts though!

This is a very nice place to stay. The rooms are very clean. The mattresses are pillowtop. There is a single-serve Keurig for your use as well as a mini fridge. You don't have to climb into a tub because they have a walk-in shower for you to use. You can log in to your Netflix or HBO account on the room's smart TV. In conclusion, I would highly recommend Courtyard by Marriott Downtown Holland as the place to stay on your visit.

Great hotel, brand new, sports bar and coffee shop inside. A little expensive but I assume that's normal for such a quaint little town.
