Went to the location on 7th Ave for lunch with my son. We told the waitress we were in a rush so if they could get our order quickly. Waited for 45 minutes and no food. We told them we were leaving as we had meetings. She said it was ready so we asked her to pack it up as we had no time. I reached my office and I had ordered chicken lettuce wraps to find there was no chicken and the veggies in there were so lousy. This kind of service is pathetic. I wish to give them negative stars if that was possible

Update: We were invited to Moxies
by their Manager Ashish and this time service and food were exclent. They should keep the same standard all the time

Bathroom is two stairs flights up. Did ask staff if there was another bathroom for my friend who has MD. They said no. Had to help him up the stairs.

Cons: very poor service, inconsistent in plating, items in the menu not available and worst of all bad attitude (both waitress and the chef)

Pros: Food tasted good

Terrible service and the bar staff do not know how to make cocktails

The white chocolate brownie is the best desert on the menu!

Service was okay, felt pressured to tip in high amounts

It's a Moxie's bar, don't get me wrong it's not a bad place, just bang for your buck it's not great.

Great staff with amazing service, I take my 6 year old for weekend lunches and he loves going to moxies. 10/10 will surely go back.

Went on a Friday night and it was just dead. Tasty food and good drinks.

The service I got here has been horrible. Every time the waitresses forget the orders and dont come back until 45 mins later into the meal.They are slow and incompetent. They also expect a huge tip after the bad service. They might be friendly but the quality of service is bad. The food is half decent. The only thing good here is the white chocolate brownie dessert. I live close to this place and refuse to go there. Id rather go to the Keg. Poor

Great atmosphere, friendly, efficient staff, and a great selection of what they call "Gluten Conscious" items, as well as vegetarian/vegan options.

Just had dinner here and the service was amazing! Ryan was the best server Ive had at a restaurant in a very long time!

For a grill this place sure has one of the worst steaks I've ever had. I don't know where they get their beef but I know it should never be that tough. It was a struggle to try and cut my steak and was worse in my mouth. It was too chewy and had no flavor to it, super disappointing to say the least. I wouldn't go back there.

Amazing service. Very good stake. Our waiter was very professional and polite.

Had a really nice chicken enchilada dinner tonight. Rojin was our efficient and friendly server. She made sure we were aware of the "Moxies Experience " which provided a starter salad and for me, the sticky toffee dessert, so good! It was a special night, reopening, and the restaurant looked very fresh and modern. Very enjoyable.

Went here with my significant other after a night out. We weren't acknowledged when we walked in, and so we ended up seating ourselves at a booth and bet how long it would take for someone to notice. Eventually someone did come over and take our orders and the service here on out was okay.

The Flourless Dark Chocolate Cake with Fiasco Gelato is unbelievable! A must-try!

Came here because the Moxies near our house has permanently closed. Service was EXTREMELY slow, even though it was dead in there. Our server was nice but was nowhere to be found when we needed something. Our appetizer came out and we didn t have any side plates. We waited a few minutes and nothing...Had to flag the bartender from across the room to get us some. He didn t even apologize once he got around to getting them for us. This whole time..no server? Most people know what they re getting at a Moxies in terms of food and generally the service is what makes a difference. Can t say anything about the service here though. Will not return to this specific location.

From observation it appears that this place happy workers who love the job. They waiters are very cheerful and friendly. Food orders were served promptly. A must go to place for birthday parties.

Salad was wilted and old. Appetizer was barely warm....And service was just okay.

The last time my husband and I where there it was not a good experience. They where extremely slow and there was only two other tables in the restraunt and the food was Luke warm at best.

Nice restuarant with a good drink and food menu. Service was good.

Went for lunch with the gf. Server forgot parts of our order, was slow despite the mostly empty restaurant, and food was not on par with other moxies.

I called for our second anniversary and the manager Ken made sure I choose Moxie s. He went above and beyond to make our night as special as it can be, he brought a bouquet of red roses and chose a private seating for us, the desert was on the house as well as the roses and candles. The table was prepared with candles for a romantic setting. We had an amazing service and the waitress Savannah was incredible, smiling and made sure we enjoyed the night.
The food was nothing short of a masterpiece!

I always love moxies. I've been to this location multiple times and im never dissapointed.
I ordered the table side smashed guacamole to share and lettuce wraps for my main course.
Service was very prompt and friendly, as I've really come to expect and the food was exceptional. I highly recommend getting the lettuce wraps from the share menu as a main course if your looking for something that's a little more health conscious. It's a really excellent portion size and it's absolutely delicious!
My only critique is that I do not find their website very mobile friendly especially when it comes to looking up nutritional value from their menu. In fact I would appreciate if they shared the calories content directly on their menu. But nonetheless I truly enjoy the atmosphere, service and food.

Great food, great cost benefit, menu for the child of excellent quality! Highly recommend if you are in Edmonton or Calgary

Went to eat dessert only. The server had no respect as we came just for dessert. Would not go again

Is what it is for a chain restaurant but good option if cold and don't wanna leave the hotel

The G.T. is dope - they serve it extremely well too - my whole table were curious how that was "just a gin & tonic" - will order next time I'm in town!

Hands down the best Moxie's in town. By far the nicest dining environmentand although Moxie's has a set menu across restaurants this kitchen seems to do a better job than others.

Went in on a cold night with my wife and baby. They were very nice and accommodating. Plus the food was great. Thanks!

Its a chain restaurant attached to a hotel, this time is a positive. Staff did a great job of being just attentive enough.

Its great for families, groups and individuals looking for food and drink. I like the simple 1 large page menu with something for just about anyone.

Only real negative for me was the fries were a little undone, and were kind of limp. Being beside the subway line can be distracting.

Revised: Renee the new manager contacted me regarding my review to offer apologies and promised that, should we return, we would not regret it. Returned with some coworkers a month later. Service was fast and attentive, everyone got their orders in a timely manner and water was refilled. 2 thumbs up for a 180 degree turn around in quality!

First Review:
Slow service. One person did not get their food at all. Never came to refill drinks. Waiting for the bill took longer than waiting for the food - not because the food came fast. So angry so thirsty....worst...bad......
