Our 2.5-year-old son is learning to swim here under the Parent n tot program. Amazing environment and great instructors.

Adam (weekend instructor) is very courteous and immensely knowledgeable. He made certain that we were comfortable following his instructions. After which, we saw a tremendous improvement in our son's abilities only on the second day. We would definitely continue going until he can swim like Aquaman!

Highly recommended place!

I have passed by the boys and girls club for years. This past weekend was the first time I visited. I was in attendance of some of our closest friends child's birthday. The party go'ers (age 4-9) had a blast there was a climbing room and an imagination room.

The was a good space to personally serve the kids food and cake. It was a good time for all. If you have younger children this is a recommended birthday location

Very disorganized. I set up swimming lessons for son months ago and was originally set up for a specific time and date. A month before his first lesson we received a call informing us that the lessons have been moved up week and as well as the time. I went there today where the front office representative seemed to not be able to pull up my son's information but brushed off and agreed that his schedule must've changed. Then directed us to the change rooms. Come the time his lessons were suppose to start his name never got called so I figured maybe I was at the wrong pool. Attended the other pool to find out that he's not in on of their classes but he has a class at the other pool but looks like his lesson got moved back by a half hour. So we went back to the other pool and waited for the lesson to start and when they called my son's name they were referring to another boy by the same first name. A huge mess. I spoke to a supervisor and they apologized because it didn't appear my son was scheduled for any lesson for the day even they called us about the date change. I would give 1 star but they were sincere about the mistake and said they will try and rectify the situation. So I'm reserving some judgement until then but so far it was a bad first impression.

I was trying to find a pool for me and my little one to join. It states on the website that parents need to accompany children 6 and younger. They told me it was a children club only and parents are not allowed on site. I have been getting contradicting information. I can't believe they would tell me to drop my 5 year old and they would stick him in a life jacket on him and let him swim by himself with only one lifeguard on staff. This is truly a frightening place, I will never let him swim at this pool. Not sure why the heck it says there is parental supervision and parent/guardian participation programs if it is not even true. More than one person that works there has told me that parents are not allowed in the pool or in the facility at all. They really need to update their website instead of having all this misleading information. I guess I need to take him somewhere else, because family swims are not offered

What an amazing place for kids! My daughter has gone here for 2 summers now. The programs they offer are fantastic. She can't wait to go for PD days this school year. I'm excited to see how their Day Camps compare to their summer camps.

UPDATE:

Well, the school year is almost over. My daughter enjoyed her PD days at the Boys and Girls Club almost as much as she's enjoyed her past summers. She looks forward to another great summer, she's a little older now so she can enjoy a few new camp options and she's super excited!

Really gone down hill.. Childrens facility picking favourites. kids go to disney land in may. Other kids would love to go but picking and choosing who can and can not come its not right and fair and shouldnt be allowed. As a child facility u guys should know that.

So, as a child I've been here. I'm sure with all the upgrades thats been axcomolished over the years must still put a smile on any child face, hopefully.

My ONLY complaint/concern.

How do you still allow the activities that go behind your building, literally leaning up against your transportation vehicles. That transport children. I've collected many evidence as just for personal assurance of whats neglected. I even taken some of these photos and made a complaint to London health or city of London or whatever through Facebook, photos sent and all. APPARENTLY told it was brought up personally to the main person behind the organization to address it as a main priority.
Anyone who will look hard enough will notice the hypodermic needles laying around with over 50% of all found do not even have the caps put back on them. Right on bath Hurst Street. Dont think it just stays there as its the designated disposal spot for such litter to be hidden in the grass or laying in plain sight.

Something tells me the safe injection site has something to do with it. They'll get a review too if they have a site if not then the appropriate measures on my behalf to get in contact with them.

Its unfair to want to have a few hours of fun at your establishment and could potentially injury yourself badly by stepping on something outside. You're endangering children by allowing this to happen at the back of your building. Its more than just an eye sore not its beginning its own little community. They are getting away with everything the normal working low and middle class would get handed a ticket or fine for our mi or mistake ( gum wrapper littering ) or ( improper left hand turn) or 1 sec late at s red light for a 400$ penalty for being tired coming home from. A hard repeated days work, stressed about life financially and mentally and going through the poverty motions car, rent, groceries, phone bill, insurance, gas, stickers for licence plate, cable, hydro, internet, and works minpulated in such ways where you'll always have to spend more than you can make. That's called *the poverty stress* with no help at all when we are at our lowest, depression. It causes more mistakes. So by calling *mistake laws is one way for us to actually $$$pay$$$ for our mi$takes*

In the future my apologies for anyone who might accidentally have an incident with this encounter. Animal or human living as normal as can be trying to find that one or 2 hours of entertainment. and an incurable disease at worst case scenario. Or waiting 6 weeks if not more for test results. Having to do the hospital scene for HIV/infectious diseases section of the hospital then the scare for weeks after all because the city allows this. But watch out for any little mistake by a normal, clean, hard working, LAW OBIDING CITIZEN.

Great place for kids of all ages. There are lots of activities here all centered around spots. There's also a swimming pool that also offers lessons.
There is a weight room, gym with all sorts of sports etc.
Check availability and hours as often they have programs that you need to be signed up to in order to take part.
