I was there with friends this weekend and we had a bad experience. 4 of my friends got sick after eating. The service was horrible, we have to ask 5 times if we need something, the server was confused, mixed our orders. The kitchen chef was playing with balls and there is possibility of food contamination.

Ordered a white chocolate BROWNIE, expecting to be treated to a BROWN dessert, instead I was faced with a pale, eggshell-white, CAKE that they dared call a BROWNIE. I've never been so embarrassed in front of my kids before. My wife even contemplated leaving me after our dessert wasn't BROWN. Other than that it was pretty damn delicious. The only good thing on the menu.

I hate giving low star reviews but my biggest pet peeve "do you want some change?"
"Please give me my change and I'll decide what to tip thanks very much"
It seriously takes away the feeling of giving you a gift. At the end of the day a tip is a gift, it doesn't matter what the culture is and it doesn't matter if they tip out it's still a gift. I think the gm of this moxies will agree with me in saying "I'll be right back with your change."

The first impression was good - a friendly welcome.

Our waitress was not so focused - she didnt bring us a wather.

The prices seems for me fair.

The atmosphere is allright.

The food was good. - pretty allright place to be.

A great place to have lunch and what you typically expect from these types of restaurants.

Had the miso ramen with pork belly and would suggest sticking with their other items on the menu. Ramen noodles tasted like instant noodles

I only go to Moxie's on Mondays. Why you might ask? Wing night after 4pm. It is only $0.29/wing so you'd only pay less than $10 after tax and tips for 30 wings! I usually order 50 wings, eat half and take the rest home for another day, the wings usually heat up alright.

This place is quite decent. Near to c-train. Have a fairly number of choices. Have some tasty low carb choices. Portions are medium, which suits me or whoever works downtown sitting in an office all day long. I think I like this place.

Our soccer team was looking for a good meal before heading out to enjoy Calgary's night life on Friday night, so we decided to go the Moxie's restaurant in the hotel we where staying. The waitress came very quickly to take our drinks and food order the manager even came out to make sure everything was okay, but after that the service want downhill fast. Half of use got our food while the other half had to wait 3 hours for our food, and when the food did come out it was cold. Even our drinks started not showing up. We found out later that they had one waitress for the whole restaurant.

Amazing service from EVERYONE! Was on crutches & unable to get around well, especially yo the UPSTAIRS washroom and the staff was so accommodating and sweet! Highly recommend this location!

Crappy service - skinny blond waitress looked like she was hung over. Waited 15 min to be seated in a restaurant that only was 20 % full.
Than it took 25 min for a simple Eggs Benedict dish. No offer for a re-top up of coffee. The Benedict sauce at least tasted nice!

The service was exceptional and the food hit the spot. After a day of walking around it was good to have a nice place to eat at. I had the arctic char, it was excellent. And I especially liked how our waitress made small talk with us and recommends something good. I know I ll be back again.

I'm a person that requires comfort food when I travel and Moxie's has some terrific buffalo wings. The service is really nice with personable staff. I really enjoy a quick meal here when I visit Calgary.

Some of their staff are racist. We were a group of Asian tourists who were staying at the Sandman Hotel in Calgary. At breakfast we went downstairs at the Moxie's Restaurant, which is just on the ground floor of the hotel. We observed that the staff are rude to us Asians and were nice to other Caucasian guests. They were giving us attitude and very bad service. If you are staying in Sandman Hotel, Calgary, avoid dining in the ground floor restaurant, which is the Moxie's.

Great place to chill out with friends in downtown. Awesome dining & drinks menu with sports bar to unwind & relax. Tip - There is ample parking available in basement. Beware don't forget to lock your car - we didn't and our laptop was stolen from back of the seat :(

Do not come here unless you are wearing something super expensive and fancy, or else you will be judged by the waiters and waitresses. The person greeting us was so incredibly rude and and kept glancing me and my groups way nervously for whatever reason. It felt so uncomfortable while we ate.

I came in here friday night with a couple friends to watch the Flames game before going out downtown for my birthday. I didnt get the girls name that we dealt with but she was super accomodating and even got me a couple free drinks for my birthday which was definitely more than what any other place has done (usually places dont offer anything).
I didnt get food but my friends did and it looked very appetizing and they said it was good.
The drinks were quite tasty and they have fresh pressed hard lemonade which was fantastic.
Its rare I feel a place deserves 5 stars because Calgary is notorious for poor service and/or food but this location was fantastic

Food is great here but the service is not. There does not appear to be any urgency is greeting you, or getting you a drink, when you are first seated. Servers will look at you, walk by you, without ever acknowledging you. This is while the place is not busy. Not the place to go for a quick drink/bite . If time is no concern, the food is great. The lack of speedy service is why I giving this a 3 star.

Nothing special... my server was so disengaged. Bill was well over 200 for 2 people at the. Day that I went in the place was very cold temperature wise and service wise. Would not be back.

Food was delicious aside from the hair in the pasta, by the time the replacement came out I was done my main course. The service was extremely slow waited 20 minutes and paid $11 for a grilled cheese. Brought out garlic bread after the pasta was already finished. Waited 10 minutes for our drinks. Food was incredible but the service ruined the experience.
P.S the white chocolate brownie was incredible.

The trout, or the fish? that is the question. The Shakespearian ambiance of the lobby made me think of Rome in Autumn. The waitress who greeted me, smiled with the light of a thousand Twinkling Bald muskrats. As for the food... Atrocious, i asked for the scallops and she gave me a greek salad with fried Yoda choda that she claimed was avocado. I hate pickled onions so i didn't order them. If you like steak, you've come to the right place. They bring out a live cow and slaughter it in front of you're pigged eyes. Woop Wooop. gooooooo moxies.....

Ordered large take out order and commented on an issue in response to their feedback card they provide. No reply provided. Ordered ribs twice and they are dry and poorly prepared. I do not recommend this location as they do not care about customer service and quality is poor.

Went in what we believe was the entrance. Nobody was there to greet us. A server/moxies worker pass by without making eye contact and just ignored us while we wait to be seated? Waited there for a few minutes, confuse if maybe we should just help ourself grab a seat. But i dont think moxies work that way? Or its just the bar open at 4pm on a friday. Idk i love moxies but not coming back this branch. We went to old spaghetti factory instead and had a great time.

My son and daughter-in-law picked up Mother's Day Brunch from this location and brought it over on Sunday and I just had to leave a review. It was wonderful! They very kindly split the order in two so that we didn't have to share food (pandemic distancing). There was a lot of food; we will get three meals out of it. And everything was delicious. You could tell it was freshly prepared. When our son got there, they had to wait about four minutes while they finished the order off, so you know it hadn't been prepared hours before. There was everything from sweet (fresh fruit, pain au chocolate, French toast) to savoury (gourmet sausages, hash browns, the most delicious quiches). All of the extras were included (ketchup, hollandaise sauce, a warm syrup with berries). Plus I got an adorable little bottle of Prosecco & oj. I was also impressed with the packaging. No styrofoam or plastic bags in site. The food came in really good plastic containers that I can use over and over again and it all came in nice paper bags with handles that can be re-used. We were very impressed. Well-done Moxies and thank you for a lovely Mother's Day brunch during this strange time in our history.

Great customer service, highly recommend this location! We had been told by the manager that one of our dishes had been dropped on the ground and that we might have to wait another 15 minutes and offered us free desert for the troubles. Great experience!

I have been to this Moxies a few times and havent been overly impressed, however, this time I had an OUTSTANDING server named Raven. She seriously made the experience so much better! I recommend asking for her section!

I went to the Market Mall Moxie's and Im not sure if this is standard for all Moxies, the Servers did not have their hair tied back. If your hair is shorter I get it...But one of the servers had hair that was down the middle of her back. Every time she went to a table to clear she had to grab her hair to hold it out of the way. She brought over my fathers burger and her hair touched his fries...This is absolutely disgusting and Im pretty sure it is against health regulations. I am not sure why these restaurants get away with this. Not to mention wearing high heels to work a full shift in...Its dangerous and not good for their feet...Can someone explain to me the reasoning? I have been in the food and beverage industry for over 20 years and find this appalling.

Kind Regards,
