What a great mountain !! Friendly people and great snow.

I took snowboard lessons up here with my family earlier this week and had an amazing time. Beautiful area, friendly and helpful staff, and just a very welcoming place to be. I love this lodge.

Everything is considerably cheaper than Stevens or Snoqualmie.

It was a great time...BUT I have to say we like Snoqualmie Pass better as far as area where you can walk with your dogs, Baker was so busy with cars and people that there really wasnt a safe spot that we found where we could actually enjoy playing in the snow with our fur babies

Great views. Been there in every season at least 20 times in the past 7 years.

Winter can be a little challenging; make sure you bring snow chains.

Ok runs though I found it impossible to track on one run. Everything just blended like one mountain wide run. Several times I ended up at the wrong lift halfway down the mountain with the only option is go back to the top and try again. I was hungry! I eventually did make it down and fortunately the lodge has a very efficient design to serve food and I was eating shortly after. We had around 12" fresh pow, so gnar.

My husband and I went snowshoeing last week up to Artis Point what an amazing time and a beautiful day, this was my second time ever snowshoeing the trail was easy yet challenging when heading up hill, the top was windy therefore cold, when no wind it was warm. I felt I had accomplished something good, I was proud of myself great trail for beginners me.

It was just a place but it was a fun motorcycle ride up and down the mountain

Great skiing area without the large crowds. I find the snow gets icy because the mountain faces North and doesn't get much sun to soften the snow.

Runs never marked well, however tons of snow and cool challenging runs if you know the mountain, Not for the person looking for apres ski. Never long lift lines, very low key but fun and gets the most snow in the country regularly, usually wet but on powder days this place is awesome for those slightly our of bounds rtpe of runs

Dont come here on weekends or powderdays, go elsewhere ....locals only

Real rainy and snowy day but baker is always great!

This is the actual base for lift 7 for the Mt. Baker Ski Area. Mt. Baker is a wonderful ski area - it's not a resort, it's primarily for locals and doesn't have the amenities of Vail or Tahoe...but the terrain is superb, the snow is plentiful, and it's a great place to ski. There is a ton of great off-trail terrain within the ski area limits.

Great snow - needs a face-lift for the resources and restaurants. Long lines, slow processes.

Beautiful place, scenic, lots of hiking, good skiing and snowboarding. Gorgeous veiws, breathing wildlife.

One of the best motorcycle rides in the state. About 50 miles from the freeway, along rural winding roads, and forests - with the last 10 or 15 miles of winding up to a beautiful sub-alpine area with a stunning view of Mount Shuksan.

It's a nice place to snowboard and sled. The whole family enjoyed it a lot.

With most of my hiking, backpacking, and skiing behind me, Artist Point keeps me connected to the favorite places in my later youth. One heck of a climb on backcountry skis, and a healthy hike in late summer or early fall, a visit to Artist Point by car is within reach for almost everyone. Three moderate and challenging trails start from the parking lot, but for those with achy old bones, a sun hat and a folding chair, a full reusable water bottle, and a snack will keep you happy for hours, simply enjoying the breathtaking views.
A rugged pit toilet facility takes the anxiety out of staying put to watch the play of light as the sun travels from east to west.

Mt Baker is a great ski hill. Very low key. Great views and varied runs, mostly an easy hill. Long lift lines are a rarity.

Great skiing, definitely no lack of snow here! A bit of a drive from Seattle but worth it. Also a good price.

Always have a stellar time at Baker! The cost of going beats any other mountain the skiable acres tops a lot of other mountains for the measly $60 you pay. Most of the chairs on the mountain are quads so that s something I can really appreciate considering our home mountain is predominantly double slow chairs. We ve been coming to Baker pretty much every year for the last 6 years and it never seems to disappoint. We always get good snow and worse case if the snow ain t great the weather is absolutely perfect. A lot of the mountain are black diamonds and double blacks but you can ski the White Fish lodge and most of those runs are blue runs and up at the Heather Meadow lodge they have a magic carpet and a small bunny hill for kids or less experienced folks. Most of the double black diamonds and black diamond runs are off the chairs at the Heather Meadow lodge but you can still access the blue or easier runs from there. Baker hands down also has some of the best skiing for more experienced people... we ve skied the Chute and the Canyon several times and it never seems to get old. Overall I highly recommend the mountain and I will definitely be returning.

Great terrain for advanced intermediate to expert skier. Tons of lift served Backcountry.

This is the worst Ski Area I ve ever been to. The snow here is fake powder because they are wet as mud. The rental is also the worst because the equipment is super old like a family heirloom, they should be presented at the museum rather than being used here. The snowboard I rented here is like a cheap toy. If you don t have your own equipment it s more worth to stay at home than driving all the way here. And people here is not friendly at all. I met 3 people jumped into queue asking us to step back unless we want to do 5 people for a lift of 4. I must insane that I spent money pay ticket here when I have season pass of other resort. I would never go here again.

I'm from Vancouver and the mountain is great. It's comparable to one side of Whistler. The thing I really like is that the mountain is really wide and there's not much people on it! It feels like you have the mountain all to yourself!

So much snow, lots of open areas of powder to ski on adjacent to the trails, and no lineups at the lifts. The food in the lodge was excellent and well priced, and there was a live band playing, starting at noon (Sunday). The drive into the ski area was also quite scenic.

The snowboard/ski instruction class is very cheap compared to other ski areas. Parking is quite abundant even on busy days.

I skied Mt. Baker last week with my kids and grandkids and had an amazing day. This is one of the largest, most beautiful and well laid out ski areas in the pacific northwest and has great Lodges to boot. If you ever make it to the Northwest corner of our state and America, you will be rewarded with lots of great slopes and unsurpased scenery on a sunny day.

I come here to Back country ski and hike in the summer. Low volumes of people, uncrowded views make this one of the most beautiful parks in the USA.

Fresh powder, sun shine, lots of smiles. Food and drink prices are reasonable. Good road conditions. What more can you ask for.

Best snow in Washington State. Hands down. Not for the afternoon skiers that take off early from Seattle office jobs and hit some runs after work.. nah, best left explained by the DOT signs that say "Chains Must be Carried in all Vehicles" Nov through March. That's not "Traction Tires" advised... want snow? Want crazy conditions? Rent a car and head up!

At 3-4 hour drive from Seattle, this is plenty worth the views! The North Cascades, especially this area holds many panoramic views.

Our home mountain. Doesn't have much in the way of apres ski. But the mountain is phenomenal. Not a very friendly place for beginners there is some good stuff to start but mostly this is heavy duty deep snow big fun.

Awesome place to ski or snow board. They have a 50 package for training and equipment for those new to the sport.

Went to the summit on a whim and a long drive......wow!!!!! Absolutely stunning views and well laid out trails for a short hike.

The drive to Mt. Baker was awesome. Also it was full of snow all around. Even the riven was frozen. People were having great time around. The road to the volcanic mountain was close but we were able to see the mountain covered with snow. I believe summer and winter would be best time to go.

The Howat family run Mt Baker Ski Resort is my favorite place to go snowboarding, hiking and mountaineering in Western Washington.

The best skiing in Western Wa. It's just full of amazing snow, awesome steeps, really helpful people and so fun. It is pretty easy to get to (from Bellingham), easy to park, reasonably priced and just so fun!

No snow. No amenities. Don't go. Ever. Even if it dumps 30inches, you won't have any fun. Trust me

Such a wonderful time of year for a hike up to artists point. So beautiful and peaceful. There was alot of fog and mist today but I love that!

The people here are great, the actual skiing place is absolutely great. No problems at all. Would recomend if you like to ski and are looking for a place to go.
