Mount Airy Casino Resort Reviews

Had a lot of great games and had good luck, only negative thing I have to say is they didn't give us slot play for signing up because we got there to late but their website says NOTHING about having to be there by a certain time to receive it

Service was great. The casino was clean and well maintained. I enjoyed my visit there.

Guy's restaurant....very disappointing....I was looking forward to eating here. The wait staff was standing by the bar and laughing. When I tried to get the attention of anyone it was ignored. When our waitress finally came back we told her the chicken fingers were hard and not edible. She did ask if we wanted anything else but my mother said she was not going to try it again. Waitress said say she would speak to her manager but we did not hear from the manager. Very disappointing. We took the chicken fingers home for the dog. Maybe he will eat them. Also we asked for another cup of coffee ... took over 10 minutes to get it. Don't know if I will go there again. Seems the wait staff was more focused on laughing and telling stories than the customer. Guy should check on the way food is prepared. Also it looked like there were several bosses but no one had the presence to check on customers. Sorry Guy.

When you win, you love the casinos and the ratings have an effect.

Yeah Miss Vera was great. But I'm still yet to win at that place I don't know what it is but.

Not to far away. Can go for a day trip. Clean & beautiful. Very good staff in all parts of resort. We enjoyed staying for a few days each time.

Convenient location with tight slots and surley security.

Nice, clean hotel. However, our king room did not come with a mini fridge. Only a mini bar.

Terrible experience for our first time there. Bathrooms were gross and it was extremely hot inside and casino smelled horrible.

I've been to a few casino resorts. There's room for improvement. My phone didn't work. The heat blows cold. Customer service is lackluster.

Slots are good but prefer Atlantic City for table games

Reservation staff very polite and courteous. Casino staff was rude. Room was very small. Overpriced and not worth it.

Not impressed with the quality of the buffet most foods on the buffet were just about warm. And they constantly are substituteing the advertised items with a lower quality items. Very overpriced for the quality of the food. But the staff is friendly and attentive.
The gaming floor is roomy the only drawback is it is not a non-smoking gaming floor. They do have a non-smoking room on the 2nd floor all it is ,is a couple of guests rooms converted to slot machines. There are no gaming tables on the non-smoking floor.

Love this resort.... my hubby and I had a great time.

I give this casino a 5 because that's as high as it goes. I appreciate the way the management and staff went out of their way to make everyone comfortable in that driving snowstorm.Everyone was stuck there overnight. All rooms were sold out but the staff set up sleeping areas around the casino.They also invited everyone to a free buffet breakfast.A very classy operation indeed. Plenty of table games ,many machines and excellent shows.Cant ask for much more.

So far not too good. No electricity. All restaurants are closed. No lights in the room. Hopefully it gets better.

It is a decent size casino not too big and crowded. They have limited number of table games and slots.

Great place, food, comps and slots. Gaming tables and high roller areas are available as well. Staff is top notch and rooms, pool, spa are impressive. Lots of fun!

Nice size casino. The day we were there was crowded,,free give aways... Had lunch at Guy's Fierio resturant... Slots were dry but still a nice time.

Did not stay at hotel this time. Gambled at the casino, they added new room of slots, nice.

cleanliness of the machine was nonexistent when I was there. And that make me hesitant on returning till the pandemic is over.

I'm giving mt.airy 5 star's because my wife and I were both winners for a change.

Not smoke free in the casino area although areas are clearly marked as such, it's awful

The hotel and it's amenities are beautiful but foreigners should be wary. The security for the casino hassled me and said Canadian ID was invalid despite letting me into the casino hours prior. Although when I purchased a drink at the pool with my ID I had no problem. I tried to explain to security my credit, debit cards, and Canadian ID verified I was well over 21, but they just declined and let only my husband through, who used his same Canadian license. I however needed to be escorted to dinner with my husband, as in literally walked to and from my table like a child. I also couldn't use their gaming voucher because of this. The front desk attendant was detached and didn't want to help verify my ID. Later on at night when the restaurant I ordered food from forgot my spoon I was told I'd have to wait 15minutes for a spoon to be brought to my room so I went to the restaurant. I had to argue with security to let me get a spoon because they couldn't accept my ID to walk to the restaurant. Finally a guard got me a spoon, apologizing for her coworker. This had to be one of the most disappointing trips I've had in a long time and I don't see myself ever staying at Mount Airy again.

Not worth your money or time, casino gives nothing in return for spending money. Have a yellow card and don't even get slot money because I play table games too. The food isn't that good either, you spend $30 - $40 per person and could make a better meal at home. It's only got worse and I'm not going back, very few staff are friendly and welcoming. Might be fine for a visit here and there but being a constant player and member is not worth it and has been less enjoyable. Ya think they would take care of regulars but don't and have little respect for patrons. Good luck and hope they correct these problems, as I will not give them anymore business again.

Big place ,lots of open machines. They could use more cocktail waitresses. Didn't see one until we were leaving

Machines are very tight,Waitress service is terrible.

You will have a great time. Good food and great entertainment.

Very large and pretty facility. Restaurant was very good food for reasonable prices, especially for inside a casino. We had to have an escort for our guests that are under 21 to go to the restaurant, which is on the casino floor, but they handled it very casually and professionally, which was nice.

Since it's the only casino in the area the table games are usually ALWAYS packed and they don't open more so you have to wait and push thru for a spot. Aside from that it's a great hotel, clean, vibe here is good.

This review is for WET nightclub. We had to pay $30 for an appearance by singer August Alsina and he didn't go on stage until 1:30 am and the club closes at 2 am. He stayed on the stage for 15 minutes. We asked for our money back but the staff refused. The staff did not have good customer service. I would avoid this nightclub at all cost.

My husband and I stayed at Mount Airy for a short getaway from the city. The reason we chose here among all others is the convenience to the casino and only a 15 minute drive to Camelback.

We had a good time, hanging out at the pool, and gambled few times, and got some complimentary drinks after we signed up for the player's club. The service on the floor was a little slow that we could't take full advantage of the drinks. All good though because the roulette table was right next to the bar.

Overall, we had a great time and will definitely plan to return.

Free valet for overnight guests, clean casino, partially smoke free

Hi. This review is about the new policy. You cannot order a red bull drink in this casino... Nor will they sell you one. The waitress stated she was not able to serve one. The little gift shop was not open during posted working hours to sell one.... The only way I could get one was to be comped one.. Which after asking....I wasn't there apparently long enough to do...nor did I spend enough money .. And then the pit boss suggested that I leave and go to the gas station and buy one. Honestly... You aren't supposed to bring in outside beverages and if I leave... I just won't come back. It's not like I was asking for it or alcohol for free... Which you can not get at this time either. So I'm more than disappointed with the situation as well as being treated so insignificantly. I then asked if there was another casino near by. They claimed not to know. But at that point I just wanted a break. So I left.

Absolute worst server service as well as cocktail waitress service. They do not take initiative, they walk around several times but ignore certain people. After ordering two drinks she disappeared to only walk around everywhere else around me. Disappointing and outright ridiculous. I wouldn t want to come back and spend a dime. Lazy workers deserve zero stars.

The place was okay but the buffet closes too early and I need to pump some more air in the casino.

Worst service. Dropped $100 at a roulette table, wasn't even asked if I wanted a drink. Three girls working the floor for drinks for slots, only one came thru twice in the hour and a half we were on the floor. Drinks at the actual bar aren't free, even if you play while sitting. Overall this is hands down the worst casino I've ever been to. Will not be going back, especially with Mohegan in the area.

Beautiful place, large but quiet and has all the amenities. The casino is very professional. Hundreds of slot machines and plenty of tables. The golf course is awesome. They are expanding with more rooms, conference facility, outdoor arena for shows, etc.

Very disappointed they only offer drinks we have to buy the food somewhere else. On Wednesday we stay until the morning the machine i was play and on the bonus mode he wanted me to get up
And go because they needed to service all the machines in that area . He was very rude when i told him "is giving me the bonus play and is almost done and he keep
On saying that i had to go. NOW HOW IS HE PRETENDED ME TO GO WHEN I HAD MONEY IN THE MACHINE??!!!! Be nice to tell your employees to be a bit kinder with the casino guests because our gambling is what's keeping them WITH A JOB.

Recently went back again after a couple of months the place is better than ever added a whole new wing of rooms and more importantly added more table games I'm the casino

You give this place 5 stars when you win and no stars when you lose. You have to bet on black no red no black okay just put it on double 00

Had a good time at the casino esp with an female chinese dealer there, exceptional professionalism. Nice bar and easy on the eyes atmosphere. Plan on a trip back.

Went for the sunday brunch buffet with family. Had a nice time expensive but food was excellent.

IF i could give no stars I would. Drive 45 mins. To loose all my money in under 5 mins literally.. Horrible expierence.

I visited Mount Airy Casin Resort on Tuesday April 6 to see a friend that was staying at the hotel there. The people at the front desk were friendly at the hotel room was modern and appealing. I went to the casino and did some gambling and everyone from hostess to managment seemed extremely friendly. I didn't eat there but the food did smell delicious though. I would definitely come back in the future to stay there when I'm in the area.
