Mount Airy Casino Resort Reviews

Nice local casino. Lost a star for lack of casual eating options, i.e. no food court. Turned their $10 free play for new visitor into $50 cash. Cashed that out. Won $15 video poker and $35 on video blackjack. Dealer was friendly. Saw 2 drink servers in only 30 minutes. It's pretty good for video poker. 8/6 for $1 denomination but only 7/5 for 25c denomination. Video blackjack is live dealer with $5 minimum. It's definitely a better casino than Mohegan Sun in Wilkes Barre, although smaller.

I post 5 stars becuz the pool setting was really nice and it was combined indoor and outdoor. The waitress was really nice too and delicious combination drinks and the food was yummy. Unfortunately wen I tried to have some fun on the casino floor I was rudely stopped by the person who stands in the front to check ID. First off I knw it's his job and im not there yet to not get asked. Second I don't have a license or state ID I only have a passport ID but that's obviously still vaid anywhere becuz it's just like having my passport. Well douchbag said they dnt accept that ID. Excuse me? You dnt accept a passport ID somethin I could use to leave the state in place of my passport and they can't accept that? Oh hell no and then he wants to get nasty and say well I dnt have a degree in Id's....wth does that have to do wit anythin, u could tell at that point he was jus as annoyed as we were becuz he had to call someone over to verify the ID and let me in. I was drunk by that time I couldn't make a case for myself without lookin too done. I hope they hired better people to check Id's cuz he was not very nice.

Delicious buffet! But I still can't get over cigarette smoke inside the casino! Yuchh!
Saw ABBA the concert. Fantastic! My wife and I really enjoyed it. Will see it again if they come back. Overall great experience.

The atmosphere was nice and food good but buffet charge is dependent on where you are with your color level. Enjoy excellent entertainment and exceptional staff to care for all your needs. Helpful people everywhere.

VERY CLEAN PLACE TO STAY, MOUNT AIRY EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS, HOWEVER WHEN IT COMES TO DOING OTHER THINGS OUTSIDE THE RESORT GET READY TO DRIVE A GREAT DISTANCE NOT MUCH TO DO OTHER THAN GAMBLE OR HIT THE SWIMMING POOL HERE AT MOUNT AIRY IF GAMBLING IS YOUR THING THEN YOU WILL HAVE A BLAST, NOT ALOT OF AMENITIES AT THIS LOCATION BUT THE STAFF WAS AMAZING AND VERY HELPFUL, ROOMS ARE EXCELLENT NON SMOKING SMELLS FRESH AND ROOM SERVICE WAS AMAZING

Its facility is nice and great. However, buffet restaurant food quality is not qualified compared with the hotel quality.

Rooms were clean and comfortable.pool was great,could swim from indoor to the outside.injoyed the jacuzzi.

Not enough parking spaces on Saturday, the buffet over prices not have seafood on Saturday, too much smoking not have good ventilation ,I have to breathe all that .....for my lung seat at the slot machines, never come back

Convenient location with free valet keeps me going back to spend a few bucks here and there.

I was there all of 30 minutes and won $240...was so glad no smoking and social distance was in place.

I mean. It's a casino. I didn't lose too much money when I went this time, and I always have fun there. My advice is to have a budget when you go, and stick to it. Casinos are great if you can do that

I hate driving all the way to Atlantic City just to play.. So my husband has discovered this awesome hotel and casino where I come and my son comes to play at the pool.. When we arrived last week and what we witnessed in the middle of the floor were chickens being exploited for a ridiculous game ( chicken TicTacToe ).. We will never return and we will make sure that we let all of our friends know about this abuse.. Animals don t deserve this type of treatment..

Tried to golf but weather kept us from playing, the course looked absolutely beautiful though

Very disappointed in how the management handled a situation.i have emailed, and called, and no response. Otherwise... rooms are clean, watch out for the platform wood on the bottom of bed! Try not to order food after 3a.m. , we did on a Tuesday and it took 1.5 hours to get. We had to go to the bar all day, because in the 14 hours we gambled, we only saw 2 cocktail servers. We are gonna stick with Moeghan Sun!!!

Entire place smelled like an ash tray and you could barely breathe. There was about 2-3 waitresses in the entire casino, played at a table for about 2 hours and couldn t get a single drink. Doubt I ll be back.

Rooms were great and casino floor was fun with some good action.

Had a Starbucks cafe, we didn't stay but it looked so clean. It was being renovated . It had an outside concert area. Only issue was the cafe only had milk no other options

This was a business meeting. The sleepy rooms were clean. The decor of the hotel was very nice. Truly impressed.

Non-smokers beware! My girlfriend and I decided to stop by after our stay at Paradise Stream. We are both non-smoker and was overwhelmed by the smoke once we stepped on the casino floor. It does not matter what area of the floor you're on th odor just lingers! We didn't enjoy our time and couldn't stand it any longer and left within 10 minutes. Won't plan on coming back for any reason.

Beautiful casino in a very nice location. Although we didn't need it, they do have a shuttle that will pick you up from the parking lot. It seemed like every other person we walked by was playing a bonus. Ahhhh, who doesn't love a bonus!

Security guard at the door wanted to be a tough guy and recheck my id 3 times. Place gives terrible comps and atmosphere is so-so. Only reason I drive here is because AC is much further, but sands is about same distance and nicer. They will charge you $5 for premium beer if you are sitting and playing at the tables: pathetic.

Excellent service beautiful room, delicious buffet, easy parking, now if I could only get even if be smiling.

They have changed their rating system and betting to an undesirable mix. Buffet is not as good as a lunch truck, I have had much better at many casinos

We just hosted a Diamond (60th) Anniversary for my wife's parents. I can't begin to tell you how wonderful Mt. Airy and staff were. One employee, Jill Hicks, stands out and went over and beyond for us. From helping to arrange and plan, to upgrading the event to a ballroom, and then brought them downstairs (from their room) while distracting them. It was a total surprise. With the help of a local bakery called Kitchen Chemistry, and some decorating by my wife, it was gorgeous. Any one planning an event of any size or type, Call Mt. Airy. I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Very clean and friendly staff! lots of slots to play and good selection of table games available.
The Buffet was very good, I recommend the Friday Seafood deal if you like Seafood.

Good location, very beautiful area. Easy to get to with a lot of parking.

Table games are great, slots are tight. It also seems as though the exhaust system isnt up to speed. The cigarette smoke is just too much.

Visited for the Wheel of Fortune audition event, spent a little time in the casino. It was clean and well maintained, I enjoyed my time there.

The rooms are super clean, the staff is accommodating and professional. There's a lot of food to choose from and the rooms my job is holding classes are set up well and everything works as expected. The WiFi is spotty tho
