Morris County Historical Society Review

Today the Society hosted a wonderful virtual program in Spanish. I really enjoyed it. The presentation was done by Research Assistant Kat, who did a Great job. Kat, her use of powerpoint and actual pictures from the Society's collection in her a presentation were quite informative. It was appreciated to have it done in Spanish. Programs done in Spanish are hard to find. It was so well presented, it would be nice if there were to be other Spanish programs and presentations done by your Society. Kat was a very informative enjoyable presenter. I look forward to hopefully more Spanish presentations by Kat in the future.

I reached out to MCHS regarding records of an old, now out of business Funeral home. The records are concerning a family member. They were prompt and extremely helpful!

The tour of Acorn Hall was very entertaining and educational. It is a great way to learn about the area's rich history.

July 2020. I have recently been in contact with Kat at Morris County Historical Society regarding the family tree and possible links to Morris and Middlesex Counties. Kat was extremely helpful and kind and provided all sorts of useful information and links that have given me much food for thought. I look forward to visiting the society one day, maybe my next visit to the USA . It is so very nice to receive such a helpful and friendly person to deal with especially in such difficult times when travel and visiting places of interest is not easy during these times.
