Absolutely repulsive food, I sat down with my wife and was served stale crappy chips and watery supermarket salsa. I ordered a burrito and it was brought out to me in under 2 minutes piping hot (obviously reheated).

It's a shame because the restaurant itself is cool atmosphere, just horrific food, bad tables and cheap everything. This place needs to be bought by a real Mexican restaurant

Service was bad today (Easter Sunday). Spent most of my time shielding myself from the sun with a menu. No napkins given with the meal. Soda was flat and birds flew by our heads and pooped on the table cloth.

You know if you have family or friends coming to town you want to take him somewhere really nice for the atmosphere and the decor everything is just fabulous this is the place if you go on Mondays it's Margarita Monday they're half-price and of course they have the best tacos for Taco Tuesday they're worth checking out

Food was great, service was good, communication was poor. We visited around 2:45pm on Cinco de Mayo. Put in our name for patio dining, waited 20 minutes before hearing them tell other guests there was no patio seating due to reservations. 80% of patio was open, so after hearing this and watching them seat people inside we asked if this applied to us too - as the hostess took our name for patio. They proceeded to tell us that they weren't seating the patio, but could seat us inside. Had we not raised the issue, we would have just sat on a waiting list for seating that apparently didn't exist. So, we are inside, seated around 3:10pm. Ordered, ate and left. When all was said and done we left around 4:45pm. In which time, only one party (of about 6) was newly seated - obviously for a 4pm reservation rush. So, our group among about 3-4 others could have enjoyed patio seating with no as diverse affect on their 4pm "reservations". Again, food and service were great; just need to readdress how to manage busy times and communicate to guests.

I eat in this place many times a year! This is my favorite place to to have a good dinner. I visit this spot many times. The food is very good, the staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable. I like going in this spot for a tasty supper.

Food was dry and burned. All of the insides of the appetizer burrito, chimichanga and taco were dry, over cooked and under seasoned. The tortillas that contained these items was over fried/charred. We were excited to try this place but we will not be returning.

If you're Hispanic, this isn't the best. Food was lightly to no seasoning or too salty. Margaritas were flavorless. The spiciest food here was tapatio, not the food itself. Customers would be better off going up north to LA area for cheaper authentic mexican food. Service was great and nice patio seating. Happy that some servers spoke spanish and gave great service.

This is by far the worst Mexican food ever I was in a party of 14 and everyone concurred, are waiter was also very rude. Needless to say first and last time there for all of us. I wish I could put zero stars. Forgot to mention Margaritas for all intents and purposes had little to no alcohol.

Awesome cheap eats. On our way to the Chase Center and felt like having some legit Moreno's food. So good and such great value. Came out piping hot. We had a baby burrito and 2 super tacos and a Diet Coke for $18! That's less than 1 meal at Chase.

The food doesn't really taste authentic enough. I was there for a Christmas party and found out they closed at 9pm on a Friday night. I'd say don't make any reservations on a holiday there.

The so called "Mexican" food does not taste anything like authentic Mexican food. I've lived in both countries to know the difference. The place looks dirty, and I can't get over the fact that they have carpet all over. As you can imagine the carpet is disgusting and it smells, decor is cheap. Service is OK and the environment is fun , but really that's all I can say that's good. Food is bland, prices are average. If you are looking for the real thing do not go to this place as you will not find what you're looking for. It's more like a "restaurant" version of taco bell.

Good food with a great spice. This place has free seating so you may end up at a table with others. However, the food was a fun hybrid with great portions for lunch. I enjoyed grabbing a beer and enjoying the open breeze from outside. Will be back!

Today's experience at this restaurant wasn't as pleasant as the first time me and my family were there, today the waiter was very rude with my dad and he seem like he didn't care to give us a good service, the meat was very low quality, More

Very good food, my kids loved what they got, and so did I. Great service too, (even though they forgot our drinks and the appetizer.) Great atmosphere too. We really liked this place.
This next part is not the fault of the employees. Everyone was unbelievably nice. And I mean everyone.

In my opinion, the food was very expensive for what we got. (I used to own a restaurant) You tell me if you think I'm wrong. Because I've been wrong before, and I'll be wrong again. LOL! Okay... here is what we got...
I'm on a ketogenic diet, so I only got a grilled chicken breast cut up. Nothing else. (Worth $3) And I just drank water.
My son got a child's quesadilla with chicken (a .10 cent tortilla with .50 cents of cheese and $3 dollars of chicken) and a coke (Worth $2 retail).
My daughter got 2 beef enchiladas (two .10 cent tortillas, filled with .50 cents of cheese, $4 dollars of beef, and covered in .50 cents of sauce) with beans and rice and a rootbeer (Worth $2 retail).
Total cost - (I think) $13.80
Okay... Profit is not a dirty word. A business can't run without it. I get it.
But here's what we paid...
$11.75 - Enchiladas
$ 7.95 - Chicken Breast only
$12.55 - Children's quesadilla (W-O-W!)
$ 3.40 - Coke
$ 3.40 - Rootbeer
$39.05 - Sub Total
$ 3.03 - Tax
$42.08 - Total
$ 8.00 - Tip
$50.08 - Grand Total
So... $39.05 - $13.80 = $25.25 profit. That's a 155% mark up. Approximately.
And we call car salesmen bad people?
Its sad too, because the experience was very good. The service was great. And the kids liked the food. But I don't think we'll be back because of the cost. I felt like I was at a professional baseball game playing $8 for a water down Coke. You pay for it, but you don't leave with a very good feeling. I'm sure you know what I mean.
Okay, you think I'm crazy? Feel free to comment. I'm ready to learn.

Moreno's often gets large parties or events. When they do, they should try and seat small parties away from the larger, louder party. Twice now I have been seated right next to (almost like we were part of) the event. Just not comfortable.... I have been a few other times, either sat outside or inside with no large party and it was fine. The food itself is ok. Again, seems like when there are large parties the quality is the food suffers. When they are less busy and can be more attentive in the Cocina (and at the table) the food seems to be a bit better.

Delicious! I have a chimichanga addiction because of this place. Even though they are only on the menu as an appetizer. I wouldn't mind if they made a chimichangas meal! (Please make the gisnt chimichanga into a meal). My family loves the tacos and margaritas here. All of them are bomb! (Protip: ask for Cadillac margarita).

Big patio dining. Nice staff and quick service. Out of a table of 4, I was the only one that enjoyed my lunch. Pork carnitas cooked right. The chicken mole was a big disappointment. Guess it was luck that I got the best meal.
