I had the pleasure of dealing with Phil for my recent mortgage. I don't know where to start the service was just amazing, I was shopping the market for the best possible rate and saw MorCan located beside my old home and decided to give it a shot. Phil from the beginning was great to talk to over the phone, he explained the steps and what I would need to provide him with. Meanwhile RBC my actual bank was just terrible, It was literally road block after road block while the RBC agent was telling me what she can't do. Phil on the other hand was just finding solutions, in the end we got what we felt was a great rate, but the service is what did it for us. I'm only giving them 5 stars because I couldn't give them 10 stars. They are the best in the industry as far as I am concerned, particularly Cameron Brown and Phil Edwards.
Because of the wide array of lenders they deal with and the strong relationships they have with each of them, they should be able to get you the type of home financing you need, no matter how complex your circumstance (within reasons). Me personally, I will forever be grateful to them as they were able to arrange financing for me, so that I could both keep and refinance my existing property and use it for investment, and also purchase a new property, after so many other brokers and lenders couldn't help me.
This is the only mortgage broker you'll ever need. With due respect to all the other mortgage brokers in town, if MorCan Direct cannot get you the home financing of your need, NO OTHER BROKER IN THE GTA WILL.
