Moosejaw Pizza & Dells Brewing Co. Review

Food was great. Their craft beer and sodas were amazing.

Gotta love Moosejaw!! Great food and atmosphere. If you go to the Dells and you like pizza its a must.

Food was excellent, I was very impressed with the friendly staff, the selection of food, and the atmosphere of the restaurant. When we finished eating we decided to buy a 12 pack of sodas (which is supposed to be 2 of each kind of soda- orange, root beer, kiwi lime, grape, cotton candy, and blue raspberry) We purchased it for $25 which seemed good. When I later opened the box to get the cotton candy soda i d been looking forward to, i saw 3 grape sodas, 3 root beers, 3 orange, and 3 kiwi. No one asked if we wanted all 12 kinds of soda, or if we wanted a specific kind. I am very sad : -(

We had a great time as usual at the Moose Jaw! They give out these fun hats. It was a super busy day with a 35 min wait and the waiter made a mistake on my mom s pizza but they gave her the mistake and the corrected pizzas for free. I thought that was great service and the waiter was not frustrated even though my mom has an attitude Pizza is incredible, good beers and sodas made right there in house. If you like upscale American cuisine check this place out. Slow service but great food.

It favorite place to eat in the Dells. They have a massive menu, you will find something you like.

Great beer. Average food. Price is right though, so worth a stop if you need a feed and are hitting up the Dells.

Wonderful Thanksgiving buffet with all the traditional fixings plus ham, pizza, and their famous soup. Everything done so well and delicious tastes just like home!

The pizza was sub-par and a family of 4 with all personal pan pizzas and one appetizer was 60 dollars?!!! Also, I am have swinophobia which is a fear of pigs specifically wild ones. SO I WAS APPALLED AT THE SIGHT OF A WILD BOAR FEET AWAY FROM OUR TABLE! please have a list of all the animal heads available for viewing before entering. Because that may have been the worst part of my trip to the dells...

Good food we had breakfast. Little breakfast choices but good food.

Menu is full with no variety, basic, way OVER PRICED plus everything is an add on. Tourist trap, don't pay to dine here better off calling room service, a taxidermist dream dining room. Don't finance their moose mounted delivery cars. RIP off!

I got a delivery, they said it would be to us by 5:30pm.. got our food by 5:02! It's amazing

absolutely love this place! Ordered a full on take out from here one night to the cabin. Pork chops, pizza, fish and chips kids meals - we ordered for about 15 people and the food came quick and was hot - top quality food and very reasonably priced. The delivery driver was a good sport too. We also went there for breakfast - again, just awesome :) totally recommend. gutted we didn't get to go again

If you dine here stick with the pizza only. We ventured away from pizza and got a chicken wrap and the brewpub chicken sandwich. Both were gross. The pretzel bites appetizer was also stale. Not soft pretzels like you would expect. They are known for pizza, so their other menu items lack in quality.

Always enjoy their pizza and craft beer. Honey ale is my favorite.

Kudos to the Moosejaw staff who took care of our church group last night with only minutes notice that there were over 40 of us coming for dinner. Thank you!! I would definitely come back!

Pros:
The staff opened up a separate room just for our group. All the servers were extremely nice and professional.

The beer bread was the best appetizer we had. We also ordered the pretzel bites, wonton cheese sticks, and chips and salsa.

The make-your-own pasta was absolutely delicious. I ordered the fettucini in wine sauce with chicken, mushrooms, and artichoke. When I placed my order, I told the waitress that I wanted to order a dish to go and asked if I should place the order now or when we were done. The waitress told me if I ordered it now, she would have it prepared as I was finishing my food. I ordered the fettucini in wine sauce with chicken, artichoke, and red peppers for my daughter, which was given to me when I finished my meal. As my daughter was still working when I got back, she ended up eating her food while it was lukewarm. Still she said it was the best pasta she ever had.

Several people in our party ordered the mushroom swiss burger and they all raved about it. I will try this the next time I visit.

There are gluten-free and dairy-free options available. Those in my group with special dietary needs appreciated the variety of options they had. They all enjoyed their food as well.

Cons:
If I ordered the pasta again, I would skip the chicken. Each of us who got chicken on our pasta agreed that the texture was rubbery. One person compared the texture to that of a hotdog. If I hadn't have soaked the chicken in the winesauce, I wouldn't have eaten it.

There was just one error in the order, which with the size of our group, is not so bad. It was quickly rectified too. My nephew, who is allergic to cheese, received his pizza with cheese. However, they quickly made him a new pizza without cheese and let the group keep the pizza that was incorrectly made.

My soda refill was extremely late. I finished my first rootbeer before the meal was served, but did not get my refill until I was almost done with dinner. This was minor in comparison to all they did get right.

oK os 1st I went there annd I had to weight 4 days!! They said I omly had to wait 3 DAYS!!,! I very disappointed in the wait time. Then I ordered A CHEESE pizza, but I. Was disappointed to get a SAUSAGE PIZZA!, the sausage didn t tast e like sausage. I asked what I was, THEY SAID IT WAS MOSSE.!, ACTUAL MOOSE. I cried (I m vegan) and went downstairs to play some games to take ,y mind if the fact I AT E MEAT,,! So I went downstairs to play som games AND THEY DIFNT EVEN HAVE FORTNITE! I CRIED MY EYES OUT AND passed out. I hit my head in Pakistan man and had to get stitches. I couldn t afford it so I asked for a job there. They immediately accapted. I was on.
My second hour working there and my manager took me into a closet. The closet had all the lights off but there re was a moose head. They then proceeded to force feed me pizza and cotton candy flavored soda; it was disgusting.? I quit my job that second and ran to the dells too get help.

Best pizza I have ever had! They have amazing gluten free pizza!!

As a beer lover, I quickly found this option while visiting the Dells. I ordered the sampler flight which is all 10 of their micro brew samplers they have to offer in 5 Oz glasses. Out of the 10, 2 of them ( Hazelnut Porter and Apple Ale) were the only 2 me and my uncle enjoyed. The rest fell well short of any distinct flavor or enjoyment. On the other hand the food and the service were excellent. I bit expensive (as expected) but excellent.

Although the atmosphere is great, as well as great service. The food is very expensive and is not necessarily worth the money. I am a local, so attending in the summer isn t always fun as the line/wait can be very long.

Food was okay, but the entire place smelled like a moldy dish rag. Won't be going back.

This was a fun place to visit! Service was impressively fast and friendly. Moose jaw has a very fun atmosphere, and they encourage guests to be a little silly and to enjoy themselves by wearing moose ears. There is also an arcade at the restaurant that had a number of fun games!

Great meat based cabin feel fun place to get a hardy meal and enjoy some time with family and friends. Atmosphere is somewhat loud and very family friendly.

This is the 2nd Veteran's Day that we have eaten dinner at Moosejaw. Each veteran can order ANYTHING on the menu for free along with a drink. Service was decent and food was good.

Great staff. Amazing pizza. Probably the best pizza I've had anywhere.. and I love pizza! I would recommend this place to anyone. Their delivery cars are so fun too!

We went to the brewery part. The beer was great and so was the food. We had bratwursts and they were excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Food was pretty mediocre. Went with a group of 8 and no one was thrilled. Service was good and there's a actual arcade in the basement.

Found a piece of metal after waiting 3 hours for our delivery... we were told 75 mins till our food would be delivered we waited 80 mins called only to find out the extremely rude woman who took our order put it in the pickup basket instead of the delivery so then a manager was put on the phone who refunded us but remade the food and sent it out another hour later. We think finally we can eat ( even though we ordered over 2 hours ago) so we dive in I get about half way through my fettuccine Alfredo only to find a piece of metal in my food. Service was awful I called to let the manager know politely and he told me there is nothing they can do... how about say I'm so sorry? Wasnt asking for Credit or a free meal was just so displeased with service I thought my husband and I deserved an apology for the horrible customer service. Used to love this place now will never return. Also have photos of the metal in my food won't let me add a pic

Good food, but honestly next time I go it will be for their beer and beer cheese soup. Like seriously, I'll get a couple of bowls of that and wash it down with their delicious selection of beer and that will be my meal. For the record though, their burger was pretty good.

I'll be honest, Moosejaw did not sound like my kind of place. But, the hostess put us in a secluded corner by the fireplace and our waitress, Lynn, proved absolutely fantastic. I would return to Moosejaw in a heartbeat as long as I could have Lynn wait on our table again. My wife, six-year-old daughter, ten-year-old daughter and I loved the appetizer, the food, the dessert, the area were were in, and, again, Lynn! I'll be sure to recommend Moosejaw to any friends visiting Wisconsin Dells.

They would not fill my growler because they could place "their seal" on it. Get a grip guys. If you want people to stop then sell them beer. A brewery that will not sell beer? Good luck with that business model.

Have looked forward to Moosejaw since we moved to the area.
Elk burger and fries were good so extra star for those. Pizza was deplorable due to near-zero sauce, toppings, cheese or flavor. Mostly just unflavored crust. No one ate more than a single, tiny slice and left the rest for the trash. Very unfortunate.
Some good beer samples but our family was too disappointed in the meal to order anything additional. Everyone just wanted to leave and look forward to a more rewarding treat from elsewhere. Moosejaw was far too expensive vs the overall experience. Much better competitive options nearby. Doubtful our family will return.

I say that they did not know where we where at and they where in our lake that is why.

Great pizza, but don't go for their beer between lemon pledge and apples and pee, stick to bottled.

This pizza was the absolute worst I ve ever had. Dominos has better pizza and flavor than this. I m sorry to say that I won t be visiting here anymore. I used to love their pizza but after my experience last night, sorry to say i won t be back. Also way too overpriced. $40 for 2 large pizzas is an absolute joke. We are from Chicago.
