We live in Portage and come to Moosejaw occasionally, usually on the off-season times. I've found the food to be good, the microbrews to be tasty, and the service usually good and timely. I can't speak for the high volume times (the service/food quality could suffer during these times, I don' t know), but my experience has always been positive.
Home made root beer was mediocre... Food was too... Cool atmosphere.
Some of the best pizza ever. Also outstanding homemade root beer and sodas and beers. Cool decor and a basement arcade.
Best pizza we've had in a long time! Fun sodas and brews to try. Kids loved the moose on the delivery cars.

It's big, it's touristy but in the end we had a great time. The pizzas were really very good and the interior is really very beautiful.

Nachos and pizza were good. Kids got the cotton candy soda, didnt like it.

We had a blast at Moosejaw when we visited the Dells this past week. Our bartender was hilarious and entertaining, the food we ordered was quick and delicious. Even the side salad I got was fresh and good. We ordered a sampler of their beers and found several we both liked. We also tried their homemade grape soda which was the only part I didn't find outstanding (but it was still a perfectly good grape soda, just not terribly unique). We can't wait to visit again when we go back!
We are from Indiana and had dinner at the Moosejaw. Our server, Cris was awesome as was the food. It was so good we came back the next night for dinner and say in Cris's section again. Sad to be leaving for home, but will look forward to coming back when we are in town again!
Pizza is amazing. The cheese is creamy and gooey, just the right amount of sauce and the sausage was great too.
Great family pizza place with good pizza, good beer, and reasonable price! We ate our fill and we're very pleased!

Sat down, waited 20 mins before someone came to our table to take our orders. Group of five that was seated 10 mins after us was waited on first. Not sure if there was some confusion with the serving staff but we won't be coming here again.
This is a fun spot for lunch or dinner. It has parking and doors and windows. The parking lot is asphalt and has lines painted on it so that people park in an orderly manner. On a clear day, you can see the sky, but only if you are standing outside. If it is raining, you won't get wet inside.
The food was okay. The pizza had a lot of toppings. I would have like oregano to sprinkle on the pizza. The service was good.
Just visiting great service great burger. Elk burger was delish. Beer was good too, fun family place. It is a tourist area so if your looking for a more quite place THIS IS NOT FOR YOU.

Good place to take the kids and a great place for a dad to have a beer. Ghostbusters pinball machine downstairs in the arcade is cool.
The giant moose on top of a car is what got our attention, plus the name Moosejaw a name of a town in Sackatchan. We had to check it out. The restaurant was supper busy and the service and atmosphere was fantastic. I tired all of their tap beers, but was a little disappointed. Just seemed too watered down in my opinion. Maybe that is how the Americans like their beer. Pizza was good, I would recommend the thin crust though.
