Excellent food here, especially the beer cheese soup. They are well known for their Pizza and appetizers throughout the area, but they have a number other dishes which are equally advertising as well.

A fantastic eatery located in the heart of the Wisconsin Dells. It's pretty apparent how good they are by the lines of people waiting and the full parking lot. Don't worry though, even though the lines look long, the wait times aren't bad. Moosejaw is much bigger of an establishment than it looks. We'd gone in with the intention of sharing a pizza between 5 people but, by someone's influence, we ended up ordering individual entrees. The pasta alfredo with mushroom, green peppers, broccoli and olives was incredible. You've always taking a chance when you order alfredo, it all depends on the skills of the person running the kitchen. The serving was massive, and I wasn't about to throw it away, so, it was boxed and came home with me. The calzones were wonderful also although they took a little while to prepare. The dough was golden brown, light and flaky and stuffed full of cheese, pepperoni and sausage. The spaghetti with meat sauce was also a big hit... for a basic Italian dish. It was truly amazing how the servers kept their orders organized and delivered to your table promptly with the crowd inside. My only objection was to being seated downstairs (the basement) with no windows and loud video games. It seemed like that is the family area, cramped, family dinner drama and tantrums. If you have the choice ask for seating on the main or upper levels! Otherwise, I'd absolutely return!!

I had a group of 22. When I spoke to a manager about getting a table for our large group, I was told to call when I was on my way. So I did. I was told the wait was 40 minutes. When I arrived she then told me it was going to be an hour and 20 min wait because a group JUST walked in. When I explained I called ahead they THEN told me it is a first come first serve basis. WHY EVEN CALL???
Once seated, (which we were NOT even placed together) it took over 15 minutes to get drinks and then another 20 minutes to place our order. I will not EVER go to this establishment again.

The food (spinach artichoke dip, taco pizza) was pretty average, but the service was outstanding and the atmosphere was fun - which is what you're looking for in the Dells anyway. They had a $1 beer special when we were there, too!

This place was really good. My husband got the beer samples, the one with all of the ones they make, he didn't like the fruity ones but I did. They had a good pizza but we couldn't use the coupon because we didn't get an extra large. I also liked that they had a store with some Noose jaw gear,if it wasn't so expensive or of you got a discount t with your meal I would have purchased.

This is definitely a touristy eating joint in the heart of Wisconsin Dells so plan to go on the off hours of meal times or you'll have a wait. The homemade sodas were good (according to our kids) and the alcohol selection was decent. However, the food was average and VERY pricey. A small plate of spaghetti was $15 even without any meat. Our kids chose Spaghetti Os which was $7 for half a can that was overdone and a breadstick. Our cocktails were priced around $8 (not unordinary) but our total bill was $116 for okay food of small portions. We were not impressed.

Sadly, I did not have the pizza! Traveling through WI I frequently stop in The Dells. Moosejaw did not disappoint. Because of my brief working in and out lunch, I chose the cajun chicken sandwich with vegetables. My criticism would be that I wished they had told me they cooked them in heavy butter as I would have ordered them steamed. Portions were very nicely sized for the money. Service was excellent and everyone I came in contact was friendly. The restaurant has a rustic atmosphere but is done with all modern amenities. I would love to come back....with my kids or again traveling through for work!

This place came highly recommended. We love sampling craft beers. The pizza was good. The burger was boring. Without the the optional lettuce and tomatoes it would have been only a party in a bun. Glad they tossed us a few catsup packets. Environment was fun and family friendly.

So we wanted to try a local brewery and it's beer. We enjoyed our visit and Jessica at the bar was great. Came home with a case of assorted beer. Plan on returning for bread pudding dessert after dinner.

This review is only based on their pizza. First time we have tried this place after many times being in the dells. The pizza was terrible. We might be spoiled being from Chicago area, but I doubt it. Really bland crust, they say the crust is made daily.. maybe that is part of the problem. No time to proof and get some flavor. The kids prefer chuckie cheese pizza over what they had here. Not sure if they add cheddar cheese, but even that tasted off like they don't use a mix of cheeses that go together. Too sharp for pizza on a flavorless crust. Pizza is in the name of the place, so we expected better. Even Domino's is better if you need a different comparison. We got the thick crust.

Prices are high, but the food is good and the brew pub offerings are fun to sample for grown ups who are into that kind of thing. There's an arcade for the kids too. So it is a good overall family friendly spot. We've been there several times (Over ten now?) and the staff is always attentive and courteous. They do offer a military discount or I might not have kicked in the fifth star.

We had a party of 11, didn t order anything special ordered. Worst service I ve ever had, from the hostess to the kitchen. We would ask for refills of drinks, or ranch for chicken tenders only to have to physically go up to the bar ask get it myself. Waiter was nice, but would disappear frequently. We waited an hour for our food to come out, only for it to come out COLD!!! We were looking forward to this meal, this was the only night that we were going to go out. This was a HUGE disappointment. And I will mention it to anyone that talks about the Dells.

Service was indifferent and the gluten free pizza was just nasty, unless you like eating your pizza on half cooked crust. We also ordered the gluten free nachos which were supposed to come without the taco meat. They had a weird taste we couldn't identify. Most of our food was sent back. I'm certain the waitress could tell we didn't like any of the food but never asked how everything was. Obviously these people don't care about how customers feel because they don't encourage feedback from guests. Call Dominos.

Don t expect to get out of here quick. It s like a warehouse that serves food. The servers are slower than a 90 year old walking up a steep hill. The pizzas are as thick as a bunt cake. The only good thing here is that it has gluten and dairy free options for those with dietary restrictions. Spend the extra time, and check out a smaller cafe on the main town strip.

It gets 2 stars for the drafts and dietary options.

Had to order twice because the first one was way undercooked. Doughy crust and the toppings were raw. Second one came and was not much different other than a thinner crust. I would not recommend. Dominos is better and I really don t like dominos.

Stopped in based on reviews on here and was not disappointed. Told wait was 20-30 minutes, and only waited 10. Ordered two of their microbrews while we waited and they were great. Ordered pizza with the thick crust and it was so yummy. Service was stellar by Rayyn. We loved our moose ears. A little pricey for pizza, but at least it was great and we had leftovers. Highly recommend.

Moosejaw is always a neccessary stop every time I visit the Dells...they have great pizza and a decent beer selection. A must have is their beer bread but I have to admit, the food was not the greatest during my last visit. The beer bread was stale and rubbery and the pizza was very average. Hopefully this was just a fluke.

You can NEVER go wrong with Moosejaw and I mean that quite literally! Took a two hour drive up from Illinois strictly because I had a hunger for Moosejaw! My sister was completely amped for this sudden trip to the Dells and we savored every bite of our meal. I wish I could've taken a lot of it home with me but I know it'd be all gone before we'd even get back home! The staff is incredibly friendly, the food is to die for, and the arcade downstairs is always fun to step into! They've got the best root beer around and let's not forget how amazing their spaghetti and garlic bread is! My sister and I are considering making Moosejaw a monthly trip just because of how great it is! If you've never been there before, I highly recommend it! You will not regret your stop at Moosejaw!

Who doesn't love Moosejaw? Lots of parking, ample dining area, and great food and beer to boot. I've bene here several times and loved each meal. I highly recommend their Friday Fish Fry paired with their ale. It's so good. Eating out in the Dells is never cheap; at least this place offers a good atmosphere with delicious food.
