One of the most bland meals I ve ever had. Retirement home food, where nothing has salt because everyone has high blood pressure and nothing has pepper because it s too spicy. Worst margarita I had in Aruba.

We didn't have food here. We sat at the main (large bar). It was fun enough to come twice. Good drinks. Fun staff. Great beach location between the Holiday Inn and the Marriott. I'd definitely come again next time I'm in Aruba.
My wife and I just got back from Aruba on our honeymoon, and one thing we often did was venture out and try a bunch of local restaurants. After all the buzz and good online reviews from Moomba Beach, we decided since it's right behind our resort, we should give it a shot. At first it took about 15 minutes to get our drinks ordered which wasn't a huge deal, but still was rather lengthy since people who came after us were being served before us. Once our drinks finally arrived I took a sip of my long island iced tea, and it was missing a few ingredients, mainly those that lessened the strength of it, as it tasted like a glass of vodka on the rocks and was clear as can be. I mentioned this to our waiter, and he was supposed to get me a new one, or just fix mine, but apparently he forgot because that never happened. Finally when our server showed back up, we ordered the calamari as we were told its way better than Haducarari (neighboring restaurant), so I imagined it would be outstanding! Once it came out, we were really let down as it wasn't even close to as good, and was barely even warm, so I assumed it had been sitting for a little bit. After these first few issues we talked about leaving, but figured we'd just stay and order our meals hoping for the best, but the following event is what compelled me to leave this review. My wife doesn't like penne pasta, so she asked if she could do the vegetarian penne pasta dish, but substitute penne for literally any other type of pasta, and she was told no they don't do that, but the waiter would still double check. So about 10 minutes later the waiter came back and assured us that no they can't do that, which didn't make much sense as all she requested was a different type of pasta to be used, so after all the events that happened so far and now this, she was a bit bothered and said she'll just have a side salad. Well about 10 more minutes later a new waiter came up to us and asked us what our request was, so she said the same thing over, and he said, "oh yeah we can do that", and she was satisfied with his offer and said please add chicken to it as well, as that was a listed option for the meal. Well about 30 minutes go by and our meals arrived with hers not having any chicken, and nobody followed up with us for another 20-25 minutes. All within the time that nobody checked on us, the staff was moving tables all around, holding personal conversations, and just not showing any signs of interest in how our meal was or if we had any issues. Once the waiter showed back up it was already to late to rectify the issue of her meal not having chicken added, so we just requested the check and decided it was time to go. So for over $100, I got a glass of vodka on the rocks, cold calamari, a messed up dinner, and some pretty bad customer service. Very upset with our visit to Moomba Beach during our honeymoon, actually almost requested a refund but I don't assume they would go that far to rectify this issue.
Great service. My boyfriend and I went twice, he ordered the grouper sandwich both times (because it was so good). I had the caesar salad and the fajitas (amazing).
Went here based on a recommendation from a tour guide earlier in the day. The crowd was a weird mix- there was a literal infant in a stroller abandoned at the table next to us while the dance floor was overflowing with middle aged ladies dancing and a couple smoking/drinking teens mixed in. The bar itself was over crowded by creepy dudes, some who were watching the game and others who were ogling at ladies walking by. The bartender was straight up racist and made an inappropriate remark (which honestly at this point we weren't surprised about). Aside from the bartenders who were swarmed it was unclear who (if anyone) else actually worked here. The drinks were stronger than expected and not mixed well for the price they were charging, in my opinion. The music was also obnoxiously loud but not really a great selection? Not sure I would come back again.
Went there for the first time this year, on the beach great sunsets, tables in the sand casual and could bring kids! Food was good and service was good! We will definitely go back next week!
Food was expensive, bad bar food. The grouper platter was a few small pieces of fish with lots of batter. The fries were cold and stale. The crab salad sandwich was passable but not very tasty. Chips and queso was cheese sauce from a can with cheap store bought chips. The fish sandwiches were mostly bread. Beer was cold and server was nice and efficient - the only bright spots of the entire lunch.
Excellent food and drink. The staff are quite nice. You want good bbq? Go here especially Friday or Sunday for all you can eat. It's also a beautiful spot for the family or a couple to eat on the beach. It's got a great bar if just looking to chat and drink. The manager is extremely hard working and friendly. He always can be found checking on things, clearing tables while his team is busy... great place.
Walked down to MooMba on a Sunday night. Very lively crowd and loud music. It's a fun scene if you're looking for a club-scene on the beach.
Cocktails are very middling, small, and too expensive for what they are.
Great, beachside location, and at night, you can find some beach chairs left over from the day, and sit a spell nearby, if you don't want to be at the epicenter of crowded club scene.
Gustavo is the best person ever great business freshest seafood amazing view great vibes great energies altogether amazing a must before you leave aruba altogether awesome
The Bomboclaat was very gorda a gord. Dis place has d best tomato paste. Highly recommend the tomato paste for errbody. Believe me this, I love Mo Bamba!!
Excellent place. Free (or low cost) chair rental, good bar (and staff), great food, bathrooms, showers, water activities - everything anyone would need for an enjoyable day in Aruba at a very reasonable value. Why go anywhere else.
Love love love this place. I always make sure to ser time aside from my excursions to spend time here. Great pizza, great drinks, great food and the staff is always so helpful. They offer free wifi as well.
My slogan while on vacation in Aruba was "All roads lead to Moombas". We stayed right next door and this was always our favorite place to end the night. Every night is different music and it's a great place to go if you want to dance!
Best place on the beach by high rise hotels. Owned and operated by Dutch people. Restaurant and bar both owned by MooMba. They have tables at the beach. Ambiance is perfect. Prices are great. They have open buffet breakfast for $13 that beats every other place nearby. Beach Bar gets crazy at nights after 10.30pm. People drink and dance right on the beach. A must go place for sure. 5 stars.
Good place for dinner and entertainment. Location is pretty much central to the hub of the Aruba nightlife in the highrise hotel area. Dining area is open air some under roof. Food and service was average. Good size bar. and on the beach. Can be very romantic. Live music is a plus. Parking is available. Walking along the beach at back of hotels is great after dinner. It's worth the trip.
My friend and I were in Aruba for five days and we came here for dinner on our first night. The food was awful and we spent $40 pp, it was extremely overpriced for the poor quality and taste. The setting on the beach was beautiful. I would not recommend this place for dinner, only for drinks and to enjoy the view.
Very nice and quiet beach side restaurant and bar. Friendly staff, great food and drinks! Would definitely visit again the next time I'm in Aruba! I had the shrimp sandwich and it was excellent and the salad that comes with it is delicious as well!
Moomba offers a great breakfast buffet for if I m not mistaken $16 and have a local price for locals. The buffet offers an omelet station, and all around a bit of everything you see in these pictures and more. Coffee and tea are also unlimited which is great and you can always expect good service from this place! If your table consumes more than $20 you are allowed to use their beach chairs afterwards. Definitely recommend! i love this place!
Good food, good and neat service and a wide choice on the menu. Quality was good! You can eat on the beach or 'inside', which is still outside, but under the large thatched dome. Parking is available at the rear, free and plenty of places.
My girlfriend and i visited this restaurant in December and had a table right on the beach at sunset. Jessie Douglas worked at the buffet and did a wonderful job. She was extremely friendly and professional and the soup and foods I enjoyed were delicious! Michael was our waiter and did a great job. Prices were good and service excellent. My friend ordered shrimp and loved it. Recommend you try this out!
One of the best beach bars in Aruba. To go for drinks and dance a little after dinner. Many young people and foreigners come to this place. Very good place
What s wrong with your drinks?? Try to put some alcohol in it for that you charge. Very disappointed! Won t be back... :(( The location is good though, 2 stars for that.
night life is fun , bartenders are personable, real and the music is good . Thank goodness for the Aruban breeze as there's a septic smell that enters into all corners of the bar ! The ladies room smells like an ajax urine cocktail , so gross ! I walk a block away just to pee , the holiday Inn restroom is the best ! Many ladies agree !
Very bad. I asked for beach seating and they did but it was in the sun i sat there for 5 min. and i was done, we we're 11 people so we waited to see what we are going to do and we had to leave bc we we're sweating like crazy. And then they lied to us that they said to us that we we're going to get a beach seating in the sun, but they didn't. (After reply from MooMba beach)ok. I understand what you mean that you can't control the sun but then if you wan't to have beach seating you should have for shades then, so that the custemors can sit on the beach with no problem of the sun. But when i was there one of the staff worker told me that they told me on the phone that I was going to sit in the sun but they didn't so i don't find it good that you guys lie to me about sitting in the sun.
This beach-style record is one of the best on the island, the atmosphere is very lively, the music is quite good, a variety of cocktails and reasonable prices.
