The winter festival and "Ice Land" have been phenomenal. On top of that, the pyramids are still up and running and very cool. The hotel itself is nice and the atmosphere matches the Christmas season too.

Great hotel and stellar customer service. I stayed at this hotel with my wife for our honeymoon and it was magnificent! It was very busy due to the fact that it was between christmas and New Years Eve however their service did not get affected by the business.

Place was underwhelming. Not worth the price at all. More of a place for little kids but definitely not teenagers or adults. The price of the room should include the attractions but it doesn't and even the attractions were sub par. Won't be coming back here.

Very clean hotel, friendly staff, and great amenities! The rooms are well sized and they have options for connecting rooms which helps when you have a large family. They have packages that include tickets to Moody Gardens or daily breakfast. Definitely plan to have the breakfast buffet on the weekends, complete with cooked to order omelets, Belgian waffles, and everything in between. They even have custom pancake artists!

All of these positive reviews make me wonder how our stay went so terribly. Booked a spa package and hotel package.

Stayed the night for a romantic getaway. Visited the spa first before checkin, watch for the automatic 20 percent gratuity they add, I didnt notice this when I set the appointment. Overall the spa was an okay experience though. The hotel stay was riddled with problems from the beginning.

Booked the romance package, supposed to have a bottle of champagne, rose and chocolate covered strawberries in room. Recieved email telling me that they dont have Roses available and they wouldnt have the champagne or strawberries delivered until after 5. Kinda ruined the suprise and they dropped the ball on this one. Waited in line for 25 mins to get checked in.

Once we got the room it was NOT worth the price we paid. Left to get dinner, expecting to return that night to our bottle of champagne... we returned at 9pm and still nothing. Had to call down to get it delivered.

Next morning we ordered room service for breakfast (package included a $40 breakfast credit) waited until 1030, room service was never delivered. We went downstairs to have breakfast in the cafe instead.

Checked my credit card statement only to find out we were charged for that breakfast!

We will never return. They authorized hundreds of dollars worth of charges during our stay. The "romantic" getaway ended up being a complete headache the entire time. Save your time and money, it was not worth it. Just made a $700 mistake for one night here and there was nothing romantic about our stay.

Really great resort to stay at. But be aware that if it is raining on the day you arrive, they will not give you a discount for the promised tickets into Palm Beach (or whatever they call it). I saw a lot of angry people trying to get refunds or discounts but to no avail.
I don't think the hotel is affiliated with the Palm Beach Park, so it may have been out of their control However, this is affecting their ratings so they might want to investigate or renegotiate.

They charge a service to the obligatory room in advance no coffee. After 11 at night the only thing you can do is go to the bar. Food is expensive and of bad quality there is no parking and if you use vallet parking it costs you 20 dollars per night the hotel is expensive and the room is not in line with the price I do not recommend it to anyone better going to a cheaper hotel that will have better quality and at least they will give you breakfast and coffee for free and they will give you better service do not waste your money on something without quality

The hotel was as nice as it always is, except for 2 things: (1) the gift/snack shops in the hotel weren't open that late; and (2) to allow the shower water to not back up we had to completely unscrew and remove the stopper/drain cover, revealing the rusty/gross screw hole.

Overall it was a good stay with a 2 day pass to Moody Gardens. We went to eat at 8am and put most of our items in the car and did not check out. When we got back to the room at 9:30am the room had been cleaned and the remainder of the items we had in the room was gone ($100 worth of toys my son left). I went to the front desk to obtain the missing items and they called housekeeping but they could not find it. We had check back at noon and they said they could not find it.
Because of this I am giving this place a 1 star review.
I can understand if we had checked out and they cleaned the room but it was 9:30am and they had cleaned the room and we had not checked out (check out time is noon)!!!! No compensation or sorry, just write our name down and we'll call you. Never got a call back and I went back to the front desk at noon before having to leave and they said they could were not able to find it, again no sorry or compenstation for the lost items.

Even though it's a little bit pricey its worth it. The room service and food are on point. Don't forget the activities for the kids! Also when you go there you get a discount on tickets if you are booked at the hotel. So I would give this place a 10/10

Wonderful accommodations. Loved the room. Nice and cold immediately upon entering the room. Very nice escape from the heat. Comfy beds, nice clean bathroom, cable tv and Wi-Fi included. Swimming pools were sombre of the best hotel pools I've seen. Nice wet bar, plenty of seating, order drinks and snacks poolside from the wait staff. Movies paying outside for kids, giant chess, giant checkers, bounce houses, corn hole, Smores making and more! Definitely will come back.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The room was clean and the staff friendly. Prices at the restaurant and gift shop were reasonable. They had activities setup in the courtyard like Jenga and Cornhole, as well as a bouncy house and playground for the kids. Perfect for a weekend getaway.

Had an amazing experience with our family celebrating Christmas at Moody Gardens. We had tons of things to do and the hotel was really wonderful. The staff couldn't be more helpful and the extra activities for the kiddos took it over the top! We went back during Spring break and even bought season tickets to return during the summer and on weekends, for both family trips and a romantic getaway with the hubby! The kids couldn't wait to come back! And I especially enjoyed the spa experience! The hydrotherapy bath was out of this world and helped me tremendously along with a fantastic massage by Amy!! This place has so much to offer and my family and I highly recommend it!

Went for the Christmas light show and had a drink in the bar so thats all we can comment on. That being said, if the rest of the hotel is ran as well as the proficiency there, then spot on! Fantastic service. It was a very busy evening and the crew was moving quickly yet took time to be friendly.

Was there for a conference and it accommodates one very nicely. It's a little confusing to find your way around once inside though the staff are more than happy to help. The rooms are spotless and ours had a lovely view. It's walking distance to the waterpark and butterfly garden.

Worst stay ever will not be back. The restaurant service was horrible. Our food was cold for drinks were brought to us. There was no maid service. We couldn't get clean towels. Someone spilled food on the floor in a common area in its state for days. We went to the obstacle course that was supposed to be open until 5 and got their 430 it was closed. Was talked to very poorly by the guy running it. Ask the manager to call me. Still waiting for that

We ate at the garden cafe and had a very nice dinner. The food was tasty. I ordered a not of a special order and it came out incorrect, but the waiter asked me before he even left the table if I would prefer to have it remade. When they brought it back, it was perfect. I recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner!

My kids enjoyed every minute here of our quick weekend getaway. The attractions are a bit pricey but are convenient and well accessible from the hotel. Rooms are dated, but beds are decent/comfortable, and rooms are fairly spacious. our refrigerator did not cool at all, and all the cold snacks we had brought to the hotel had to be tossed unfortunately- this was my only complaint. We did not bring up the issue to management because we found out right before we checked out that the refrigerator wasn't cooling properly. The hotel grounds are well maintained and very clean!

The reason I am giving it a 5*s is because of my experience in the Cafe. I showed up with 2 rambunctious boys at 9 am and was seated promptly. Our server Terry was so attentive and so wonderful. The manager stopped by and checked in on us. The breakfast food was absolutely scrumptious and my usually picky eaters ate so well!! Children 6 and under eat free with an adult buffet.

We will definitely visit. My 4 year old is already planning the next visit!

Tourist Trap, pay $260 a night & extra $40 if you want a balcony. You don't really get anything for your money. Average Room, Average Pool, Horrible indoor pool, the kids activities room is tiny with nothing special. Palm Beach was closed our entire stay because of rain. Towels for the pool are in tracking machine so if you don't return each towel to the box you get charged another $25 dollars per towel. This is a terrible towel machine idea, so you now have to freeze to your room, or are hassled with remembering to return it. This Hotel doesn't really have anything for familys or Kids to do. This Hotel was a waist of money, their are other hotels on the island that give you double for the same price. We will Never Stay here again.

The hotel room was beautiful, but...... I had reserved a room with the pyramid views...I didn't get it. They closed the outside pool in the morning for maintenance (although no maintenance was being done at the time.) They directed us to a very cold inside lap pool but we couldn't get in because their card reader was broken. Of course they insisted it was my key (they wouldn't let me in they sent me to the front desk) So after two trips to get my room key re-programmed they let me in after a 45 minute ordeal. My four year old LOVES to swim more than anything. So her swim was cut very short due to their unhelpfulness. The night before we bought super ridiculously expensive tickets to the Rainforest exhibit and the Christmas light trail. We got to the Rainforest at 6:15 to be completely in the dark. You ever been in an exhibit in the dark? You can see nothing! We saw two monkeys sleeping. One beside a trashcan and one in a tree. We also saw 2 sleeping birds. There were wall displays but they turned out the lights so who knows what was in there! We complained but to no avail. The person checking us in was pleasant but the morning person the next day kept insisting my key was the problem at the pool was rude. She and her coworker snickered about me when they thought I was out of hearing distance. It was pretty much just an over priced tourist trap. I will never go there again. I've had better experiences at 2 star hotels.

After paying $350 a night for a room with a view, we where put in a room that had a wall in the right of the view and the top of the front of the hotel in the other. We complained and they moved us to another room that was still not as nice as a Holiday Inn. I orders a bottle of wine for my wife, I said nothing too exspensive she wouldn t drink all of it any way. They charged us $60 for it. Well we where on a little get away with the kids so, forget it. We had them bring the car around and my wife s new car antenna was broken off and now they don t want to take responsibility for it. I will never go back!!!
