Wonderful lunch!! Had a delicious wrap and it was so large I had to bring half home!!

Very nice place to eat. Our server served all eleven meals very promptly. I am visiting from Pennsylvania and i will eat there again when i come back.

Love this restaurant. We go there frequently for bkfst. Staff is wonderful and service is excellent. Strongly recommend for lunch or dinner too.

Service was prompt and friendly. Dining room was bright and clean, but kinda loud and basic. The most important thing...the food. I ordered the ham omelet with cheese and potatoes. Was OK but nothing at all special. My friend ordered a hamburger with sweet potato fries. She said it was too fatty and not very good.
Don't expect to be wowed but it's not a bad place for reasonably priced food and a huge selection. Maybe too big.

This place was awesome the service was fast the people were very nice and friendly. I will be coming back for sure. My food was great as well as my family.

We came in today and the restaurant was packed we thought we would have to wait a while, however we got to our table in a timely manner and from the moment we walked in we felt welcomed once we were seated our server was super friendly we ordered eggs Benedict and French toast everything was marvelous we had never been here before and we are definitely making this our regular place to eat can't wait to try more of the menu since everything looks amazing. Everything that passed by our table caught our eyes and we wanted to eat everything

Enjoyed this place! Bread was good. Pasta was good. Almost a 5. Quiet enough so easy conversation could be had. Everything my dining partners had was good. They would rate it all at least 4 to even 5. Highly recommend!

How this place is so small blows my mind. The food is amazing steak was perfect. Recommend this to everyone in town

I haven t been to the Monterey Grill a while because of Covid and I really like Monterey Grill but today I ordered the zucchini appetizer my favorite and it wasn t like it used to be they definitely changed the receipe. It used to be nice and light in color and nice and cheesy, not today it was brown with Parmesan sprinkled on it. The peach ice tea no longer has little pieces of peach mixed in to it. My entree was good but I sure miss those two things. I wish they would just not change things. When something is good leave it alone don t cheapen the items. People notice especially when I haven t been there in a while.

Monterey Grill is a place we like to go for special events. My son Sawyer graduated VPK so we went to celebrate. He will never eat salad but he devoured my salad that day! It was the citrus vinaigrette! I need this recipe so that he will eat more greens!

We order medium rare burgers and they give us well done. and my husband ask for the all hail the queen burger that includes egg, and the egg was giveng to him a couple of minutes later on the side. . Uncooked onions lots of lettuce all over the plate, no napkins on the table. We were first time visitors. NOT COMMING BACK!

It used to be good. But the last two times were not so good for us. One of them the steaks were burnt and we couldn't eat them! The second time, I called in and talked to "Mark" and put a reservation for party of seven. He told me to come in after half an hour. We came in and told us sorry we cant accommodate you! We are not willing to go back again. They just lost our business. The cinnamon tree cafe next door was a much better food and service!

Loved this spot! My server Dominick was amazing. He had recommended the Catalina Mahi and it was phenomenal. The white flaky fish along with the apple mango salsa hit the spot. 10/10 would recommend and ask for Dominick! Super friendly staff will be back!!

Excellent breakfast and dinner options at a very affordable price. I had the crab cake Benedict for breakfast one day, and a crab cake dinner another day. The quality of their food is great. I rate this restaurant 4 stars because I noticed the crab cakes were not consistent the two separate times I went. The breakfast ones seems to lack some quality. Nevertheless, great service, great food, at a very affordable price.

Service was good. I had the flounder with creamed spinach. Both were delightful and reasonably priced at $12.99. The piece of flounder was much larger than the Mahi Mahi that I usually get! Looks like I have found my new go to meal at Monterey. the only thing I noticed was the booth area (walls and window) were somewhat dirty with some kind of greasy fingerprints. That should be addressed. Otherwise, it was a great experience.

Excellent, fast, professional service. superb appetizers, the kofta kabobs and chicken kabobs with the different sides are beyond impressive. House salad is excellent, Mediterranean salad is an acquired taste!

Went for lunch and has the Chicken Marsala, yummy!!

Best fried zucchini ever. They're not fries, they're planks and are awesome. 1 order could be an entree or shared as an appetizer. Friendly staff, all 4 entrees were good, so I'll bet everything else is. But do try that zucchini.

Recently stopped by montery grill for the first time. The food was excellent, especially the shrimp! Our server, Dominck was a kind gentleman, and accommodated for our every need. I will be in again!

Went out to dinner and noticed they had a new slogan in the waterfall and it said inspired by the freshness of California and when I ate dinner you could tell it was fitting for the food

Oh wow, this place is awesome! We went for breakfast and it is so peaceful and relaxing. The Monterey quiche was absolutely delicious. Seating is very comfortable and I love that it doesn't feel like tables and chairs are crammed in as tightly as possible.

I came in for breakfast on Tuesday and had the best breakfast croissant ever! My servant Taylor was so friendly and made our experience very nice. We will be back :)

Went in a couple nights ago. New to the area. Tried the restaurant out and boy it was a fantastic experience! We had Dominic as our server who not only made us feel welcome, but made us feel like family. The Monterary Chicken that Dominic recommended was absolutely phenomenal! We can t wait to be back! Thank you for the great service!

Great food and very friendly service. Had the Big Sur combo. Plentiful portions and the cinnamon French toast was excellent. Never had French toast like that. Will have it again when I go back. Our server Julia was excellent. Very attentive and very friendly. Was definitely a pleasure.

Blackened Maui Maui on a spinach wrap with sweet potatoes fries. This was approximately $10. Very fresh. The food is fresh every day nothing frozen. They have the best tasting sweet potato fries in the all of Daytona Beach; cannot taste any oil on them, at least I cannot. The atmosphere is calm and professional, the staff are attentive and inquisitive towards your needs and experience. Our server is Melody and she made sure my drink was full and if there was anything she could do to make my stay the best. This is the second time visiting this place in at least 7 years and I am still amazed at the service and experience. Thank you! Keep up the great work.

Best fried zucchini strips in town and Kelsey is a fabulous bar tender and waitress! I come from north on beach side all the way down to Port Orange just to have a fabulous salad and the zucchini strips!

Disappointed. We got 2 burgers ordered medium, came out well-done. Had to keep asking for refills on the drinks. Food was ok, nothing special. Probably won't return. Mozzarella planks was very good, just only 4 planks, small for the price.

Love this place for lunch, brunch if your near here, eat here.

While the food I have had here is delicious the bar tender lacks on service. My husband and I visit every Friday have a beer sometimes a bite to eat.
On Friday 2/28/2020 the bartender spent all his time yacking with the new pretty waitress, my husband had to go ask him for a new beer. We will find a new place to have a beer.

We tried the Monterey grill one more Friday.
We were not disappointed, Eric took very good care of us and was very attentive. The meal was great as always and the atmosphere very nice. Love our Friday spot, Monterey Grill Port Orange.

Good food all around, everything came out in a timely manner. Waitress was just a touch awkward but good service, just had to ask for the refills. Definitely worth trying out for good delicious food for decent prices.

Our server, Mathew, was great. We all thought the food was grear.. leave room for the brownie sunday!

Food was good but not great. Prices are fairly high compared to amount and type of food offered. Restaurant is cramped and smallish. Kids are welcome but not appreciated.

Kudos to Monterey Grill for their excellence! Service is excellent. Food is excellent. Menu choices excellent, especially when you can have brunch on a weekday at 1:30 PM. We had traditional Eggs Benedict and Seafood Benedict. Absolutely out of this world. The Hollandaise sauce was perfect. The eggs were perfect. And the English muffin was perfect. It wasn't a hockey-puck you couldn't cut. The potatoes were excellent. This was our first experience at Monterey Grill and we will be returning regularly. There were absolutely no negatives with our experience! We totally enjoyed the service, atmosphere, menu choices, food and the free birthday dessert!

Had the best quiche and most friendly server. This restaurant has been a favorite of mine since it opened.

Good service. But only 2 because sweet tea wasn t sweet, they replaced it though. Meat should be seasoned, not plain. Burger was over cooked, and we got 2 empty bottles on A1.

The well done hamburger was pink, the quiche was not available, and the Tomato and Spinach Egg Benedict Croissant was soggy. The manager did give a $10 gift card but this was the second bad experience. I will not return.
