Prime rib on Fridays and Saturdays is good. Good sides and salad.

Great food and good experience with the servers and staff. We were a party of 6 and everyone enjoyed their meals.

Great Food but took about 25 minutes to get our food! Service was slow & not very attentive but.........she was very friendly, she was very busy so its understandable that the service was lacking. Overall a good place to go.

Eeh, it was ok, not the best nor the worst meal that I've ever had. I'm not sure that I would go again for dinner but would consider checking it out for breakfast.

Dined at neighboring wine bar and was served by Monterey Grill staff. Excellent food, service, and experience. Highly recommend.

Went as a group, the sweet tea was not sweet. The A1 sauce they brought out were empty. Our Waiter, Eric, however was great and had great patience with us, and is the reason this place gets the 2 stars.

The salmon salad was tasteless along with the blue cheese dressing. The salmon had no color, and it didn't even taste like salmon. Wild salmon is the best, and I don't understand why restaurants won't spend the extra money. The blue cheese dressing was thick, and for homemade dressing was missing the key component, blue cheese. More like a clump of mayo. This is my last visit,even though I've been several times, and I haven't been impressed yet.

LOVE their food! Portions are large, fried zuchini was amazing and so was the summer chicken salad and sweet potatoe fries!

Food was great, server attentive. Only done breakfast here so limited menu interaction but will definitely be going back.

This is truly a five-star restaurant. The waitresses cared to our every need and the food was estellar. This place is so clean and the service is perfect. We went here for my birthday, and I have no regrets about it. 10/10. Would absolutely come again.

I came in with my mother on Saturday morning. Mallory was our server and she was very attentive to my elderly mother. She was caring and patient and made the experience a wonderful one.

I paid extra for the waffle with nuts, it was a waffle with nuts sprinkled over it. I wouldn't recommend for breakfast.

The salmon was delicious! Great staff, awesome recommendations about the menu, cake is to die for... Just don't die...

Ate here with a friend, order the lunch portion of linguini Alfredo, with grilled chicken and shrimp. Was excellent, perfect lunch size portion.

We're new to the area, we have been looking for a great breakfast place. I think we just found it! The place was clean and bright and did not look old and tired. The food came out with great presentation and was of excellent quality. We truly enjoyed our breakfast. Ed

Prime Rib was excellent and reasonably priced. Service was also excellent. We would highly recommend it.

Staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is amazing. The food is good and not priced bad at all. I had a very delicious steak and mash potatoes. We didn't wait long to be seated and the bar tender makes the drink worth paying for. I will definitely be back.

Here is a tip. Monterey, Malibu Beach and San Diego all end with 'Grill'. So yes, they are like a restaurant trilogy. And when you have a gift card from one, it's good at all of them. The food and service speaks for itself at all three. Any gift card = 3 choices!

Food was good. Checked this place out as an old time favorite of his.

Had a wonderful experience, we came for the first time 4/26 and had Julia as a server. She was very personable and knowledgeable about the menu. Loved the haddock and sweet potato fries. I definitely recommend.

My husband and I had a great meal. My shrimp scampi was excellent. Dominick our server was attentive and personable. Thank you everyone for the great experience! Looking forward to come back to see Dominick!

Nothing like smelling the cigarette smoke on your server to get you in the mood for dinner...Food was average.

Everytime I come here I have a great experience... Wait staff is attentive and friendly, food is great... I recommend the Fried Zucchini...

Always a pleasant place to eat. Service was excellent and the food extremely good. Breakfast was a first for us and our omelets were wonderful. We'll be back.

This place is amazing ! The food is fantastic and the drinks are even better. Met a sweet,funny girl named Payton who works there who i will definitely be returning to see. Must stop by if youre in the neighborhood !

The Monterey Grill under new ownership is not like it used to be .... less quality and higher prices .....

I love to come here for Breakfast. The food is always EXCELLENT, the Staff are always great/Friendly/helpful, and worthy of more than the maximum tips one can give.
I like to eat here, then visit the historical things nearby. Its a good location...even if I'm just passing through.
