The employees are really nice really made things easy for me. the animals are clean and healthy. I felt comfortable buying a pet from them

I been going to Monster pet store for over 15 years. The service is still excellent.

Today while in Monster Pets, an employee named Freedom was caring for the small animals while I was looking at them. Every pet store should have an employee with so much compassion and love for animals. It was as if she knew each and every pet s personality, from the birds to the snakes. I have worked in the veterinary field for 24 years and frequent many pet stores, so I am constantly surrounded by animal loving people. Freedom really warmed my heart with the love she showed these animals, as if they were her own pets.

For the most part the store has everything one would need for their pet, but the staff can be kind of rude and unhelpful.

Been there 4 times looking at tropical dish. Well the thanks are filthy dead fish in some of them ..would never buy from these guys, also thw prices are not competitive enough .

Just started a 10 gallon tank and wanted to get water tested. Guy was nice enough and very apologetic he did not have a water testing kit. I had a couple other questions that he answered shortly, in a way that he couldn't be bothered so I left still feeling disappointed. On the upside the fish tanks were beautiful very clean, obviously they spend the time caring for the fish which is good. Hopefully when I return there will be someone there less rushed who can help a novice. Many people like to do some of their research by talking to experts.

Got two ferrets from herem. Super healthy babies, precious goobers. They have path valley ferrets which come from a way better breeder than Marshall's.

Great pet selection and food

Lots of selection, but it seems a little disorganized. I didn't ask for help though, which I should have!

A bit expensive and some people work there but don't have any knowledge of the products or animals

Its first come first serve at the self wash. But place is nice and clean. Staff is cool. While we was there we used the self wash . its 10$ for 10 minutes. Water is hot so be careful when washing dog. Dont know if its because the grooming is using the water also. But just be mindful when washing your dog.

Is was many people that acted like they never seen two rotties before and asked alot of questions .

And please if you see Young kids be mindful also they will try to put they hands in between the gate of the self wash . to pet your dog .

Great pet store with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. You can see a lot of cool exotic creatures in here. Reminds me of many pet shops I used to go to that have all been replaced by the big boxes.

I got my cat groomed today they were supposed to shave the sanitation area and he came home smelling like poop. His feet were not shaved like they were supposed to be. I don't like that u can not see your pet when they are grooming it cause it is behind closed doors at petsmart u can see what they are doing to your animal. I will never go back it was a waist of $75

Jordan helped me pick out goldfish. He was very polite & patient. He definitely knows his stuff! The young lady at the counter was a delight as well.

So my cat name Panther she's dark gray gray and looks like a Russian blue had a kitten 4 weeks ago not Panther ran out of milk so I went to monster pets and they were very nice they gave me everything I needed two cans of mother's milk and two miniature baby bottles cost syringes I spent $25 brought the stuff home fed the little kitten 4 times during the Eagles game and the kitten still died I tried my best to save the little thing but the kitten still died I don't regret it at all but I'm tired now I highly recommend monster pets app

They have a beautiful range of fishes, however they do not care about the fishes themselves, nor even notice if something may potentially be wrong with the fishes. I have gone on two separate occasions within the same week, and I noticed this one Black Ghost Knife selling for $80 on the first day I went was literally in the middle of dying, then I have gone a couple of days later, and it's still there but dead this time.
I gone to buy Green Neon Tetras, that they labeled Albino Neon Tetras, the handling of the fish was so awful, I understand that the fish are just babies and they're tiny, but the person handled them by hand then rubs the fish between their fingers to place it in the container. I wasn't able to fully inspect at the very moment, but by the time I go home I noticed one had only one fin, and the another fish fin was damaged and it was due to the handling. One already died just two hours from purchased and the other is on Verge but I'm hoping for recovery. But, they have the nerve to say the animal health is guaranteed, not the way they handle animals. The employees are nice I suppose, just not mindful.

They had a great selection. The birds, rodents and fish are well taken care of.

Price gauging,price on the shelf was one thing and price at checkout which is not shown to you is another. Completely a rip off check before you pay. I read the Receipt Afterwards and of course no returns. More then double the price of the merchandise.

Customer service was good but selection for what I went for ,which was a cranberry chew for dogs ,which is not a high demand item ?? Was down to last 1 which I'm thankful for that I got 1... When I told them it was last one ?? They could care less... I also wanted a bed for my dog and the prices were very high for a Very poor quality bed..

There fish section is absolutely amazing the people who work here all live the hobby and care about the animals. They are amazing here.

We have bought two guinea pigs from Monster Pets and have bought almost all of the supplies for them from here. They have a surprisingly large selection of hay and food, and a good selection of pigs. We chose to buy the pigs from here because they all seemed happy and healthy, and it seems like if the pigs are sick they refuse to sell them. I recommend this ace to buy the reoccurring supplies.

If your pets not happy monster. Pets not happy. Remember it and get something else, and essential health care works get 10% off your purchases

Very good they have plenty of stock and variety and the quality and prices are well worth the trip.

Staff not welcoming to to certain customers, though it was just me on the first few visits but it was clear and apparent on my following visits that this store caters to a certain kind of clientele.

Got everything I needed. Great for all your pets needs! Spent a lot of money but I bought 2 descented and fixed ferrets. They are very happy and I am excited to have them... The whole family is. Ty to the cashier that walked us through the process of getting all we need.

They have nice selection of fish than petco. You can buy dog food and cat food cheaper on the petco site than here lol

Best size rats for your snake...My snake Larry boa just loves them.

This store is stocked pretty well. With pretty helpful staff. But I only go here when I'm already in the area.

Most of the fishtanks are not for sale. Normally things are OK even though water isn't the best looking. But last time I wanted an electric yellow cichlid and was charged for it. But was given an albino molly that looks yellowish. Not happy with that. Over charged and didn't get the fish I wanted.

Great pet store for all of your pet's needs. They carry anything for small animals, household pets to fish and birds. Really good selection of top shelf items, and specialty items, and animals. Easy parking. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very fair pricing also. Worth the trip with the new aquatics upgrade they did in the store!

Is the only place that have the food for my America Bully (Bully Max) IT IS ONE OF THE BEST THAT MY DOG LOVE, there was one in Audubon Nj but there close the doors and know need to go to PA.

The rabbits are kept in small glass tanks with very little ventilation. In several of the tanks are multiple rabbits. Poor babies. I will no longer shop here because that is NOT how pet rabbits should be housed. Hopefully someone with most space than I have can adopt some of these precious animals and give them a good life.

Horrible. Dirty. Habitat for rats has broken glass with tape over it. And extremely over priced.

We came here for the fish section, which we had heard was greatly overhauled. I can safely say this is legit the best fish section i have ever seen in any pet store. The tanks are kept in fantastic condition, with the fish for sale all seeming very happy and healthy. The selection is incredibly, and each time I've come in I've seen fish I've never seen before. The betta all have their own small tanks with filters, which is a huge improvement over the usual terrible cups you see in most pet stores. There is an actual care here for the animals that i am not used to seeing, and has been a giant relief. Notably, we also saw decorations and tank accessories from brands we have never seen before as well, giving us so much more variety, along with tanks being kept IN TANK for purchase. It's just been an absolute treat anytime we visit. I highly recommend this store to any hobbyists, and strongly state this is the only store I will go to for fish and tank related purchases.

I only have a dog so I can't speak for other pets.

The store seems to be set up in a very reasonable way. The employees are nice, and always seem excited to see the pets people bring in.

The self dog wash stations are pretty nice. They have a good selection of shampoo, they'll give you an extra towel if you ask, and they have blow-dryers.

It looks like they have a good selection of food, but I haven't needed to browse yet. They have a great selection of dog toys and treats, and a pretty good selection of beds.

I generally just stop at the pet store by my house, but whenever I'm driving or my pup needs a bath, this is the stop

For a big pet store it's ok. Prices are what you'd expect, you walk in knowing that they should be 10-20% cheaper than they are but just aren't.. Good selection tho

I took my granddaughter to see different animals. I was hoping to see cats or dogs, but neither were there.

I bought leash and harness for my cat so i can take him out harness didn't i took ot back because it had cat hairs on it they gave me store credit. Employees were nice.

One or the best pet stores in Philly for dog food/treat options. The only place I can find all of the large breed specific dry foods for my GSD. Plus she usually gets a free treat when I bring her in with me!

Nice but this place is way overpriced. I also dont like their no refund policy on some of their fish.

Loads of supplies for all kinds of animals. Prices are meh and customer service the day I went was lacking. Trying to see a small animal, waited for 30 mins in a next to empty store and just left, disappointed.

I get my fish here and they have been incredibly helpful in getting me started with the aquarium hobby! Wouldnt go anywhere else.
