Mongo's Grill St. Cloud Review

One of my favorite restaurants it's fantastic and always a fun and energetic atmosphere.

Pick your food and they cook it in front of you fun.

So my go to place no matter if im being healthy that day or i want pasta pasta pasta! Great food. I would suggest thinking about your desired flavor. I have walked away with a concoction only a teenager would eat. Flavor up peeps mongos rocks

Good food, friendly staff, lengthy wait time to get it cooked though. 35 minutes give or take from when we were in the door to when we were able to eat.

I had a terrible experience at this place. It was my first time, so I did not know how the restaurant worked. I came to the place with my teenage son and infant son. My teenage son went first to get his food (he had been there before) as I sat at the table with my baby. While he went, our waitress arrived with two menus, that she never gave to me. She asked if I had been here before and I let her know that I hadn t. She proceeded to tell me something that did not make sense and I had a confused look on my face as she went to grab the water I requested. My son comes back and then I go up to figure out how to put my meal together. I went up and a crowd came after. Needless to say I was the last one in the line to have my food cooked since I was walking around confused. I did not know that I could make wraps I ended up getting the lo neon noodles that everyone else go

Food is always great, and staff is friendly, remember to pile as much as you can in your bowl for the best experience.

I had never been there before so it was difficult to know what to do I wasn't given any direction it made me frustrated.

The atmosphere is bland and the staff isok our waitress was good about explaining how it works but most of the staff was unsmiling and stand offish

My trip was HORRIBLE... I rate it -100 stars... I finally got to the front of the huge line and they told me they had no Alfredo Sauce. So I got back in line with plain noodles and finally got to the front and I asked for my sauce on top. Then I finally got my food and my sauce was mixed in... I now HATE HATE the Mongos grill and it is the worst restaurant ever. I do NOT recommend going there ESPECIALLY if you want good food and service. DO NOT GO THERE...

The freshness of the food is awesome. But, it just looks so messy by the grill area because so much food is wasted when they toss it on the grill and scrape it into your bowl. It's pretty expensive for what you get because you can only fit so much in those tiny bowls. But, the staff is friendly and the food is good so I would go back.

Always fresh, hot food. Only 4 stars because it can be quite loud.

Both me, my kids and friends all Love Mongos Grill in St Cloud MN. It's delicious and fun and well staffed with great people. Yum.

Wasn t impressed with the wait staff. Very poor attitudes. Food was ok. But 13.99 for a small bowl and 3.99 for every bowl after. Don t get your money worth at all.

Price too high for what you can fit in a bowl. Don't even get me started on the amount of naked kids you'll see in the bathrooms

One of our favorites! I make my own fettuccine Alfredo that's packed with chicken, shrimp and veggies. I pile it high for the one plate option and usually have enough to take home for lunch the next day.

Absolutely amazing. You can get what you want ramen, mongolian-thai cuizine to wraps and tacos all on there freshly prepared food bar then cooked to order so its always hot. This place has it all and wiil definitely recommend this place and be returning.

We always have a great time here - this was our first time bringing the kids and they had a blast! Make sure you tip the cooks and got the gong!

Food itself was decent. Prolly a 4/10 compared to other mongolian grill type establishments. Wait time started at 30 minutes and ended up being 45, followed by a 15 minute wait at the table before being allowed to get food. I would understand the "need to distance" except you wait to go up and then at piled into the line by the grill and that seems to completely kill the point. Wait staff was not very nice at all, would lean toward nasty young ladies as cursing on this review seems a bit much. Didn't enjoy the experience one bit. My family had 5 adults and two small children and we weren't allowed to sit together after this 45 minute wait. Though the food was decent all other factors would point to never going back. 2/10 would not recommend.

The food was great (as usual). Even though I did give it 5 stars the only thing I wish they did better is mix my rice in more. Otherwise the people were nice and friendly and helpful.

Our favorite place to eat when we are in St. Cloud! Servers are always genuine and on top of things. Cooks are in a good mood and having fun! Can't beat Mongos!

Mongo"s is always delicious!! Just wish they would bring back my favorite Chinese 5 spice seasoning, so I wouldn't have to bring it in myself every visit.

Awesome place if you're looking for healthy, fresh, custom options.

Great food if you know what you are doing, they have recipe cards available at this build-your-own stir fry restaurant. Quite novel to see the staff cook your creation over a giant circular stove-type thing. Has small bowls available for small kids, who eat free! Negatives are, if you don't know what you are doing and don't use a recipe card, you can really botch your dinner which requires you to add certain amount of sauces and oil. Also, it was extremely crowded and loud- I'd guess we waited in line maybe 15 minutes (not a bad wait if you are sitting in a booth conversing, but not ideal for line standing).

One of my favorite places to go! You can load your bowl of stir fry as high as you want it before the chefs cook it and has so much variety even for vegans. It has very reasonable prices, if you are not satisfied with the bowl you created or just didn't get your fill, extra bowls are only 1$ the only thing is, is that you cannot bring additional bowls home for leftovers.
*note* it has Coke products but does have bottled drinks (Mtn Dew).

I've been here on more than one occasion. Whether it be for a birthday party or for dining out. This is a great place to make a meal of your liking. Either by following the recipe cards they give you or by creating something of your own. Always the freshest ingredients as well.

Always have have good customer service here, had Sam A. as a waiter today, she was awesome! (food is epic too!)

This place is fabulous. A build your own stir fry establishment, it's super easy to get what you want, and it's very reasonably priced. Definitely coming back!

Good menu of course cause you build it yourself. Gotta say the HU HOT in Fargo ND has one better, the HU HOT has sauce recipes above the sauces which includes local and professional favorites.
