Mongo's Grill St. Cloud Review

They have a great atmosphere. It was very clean and enjoyable. Had a great birthday lunch there.

Mongo's is a great place to fill your stomach, if you know what you are doing. This is a make your own stirfry place. It can be a little daunting for first-timers, but they offer recipe cards. You can make a large single plate, but pay a little extra to make as many plates as you would like and try a few different recipes. Just make sure you add oil to your recipe.

Expensive, but worth it for the massive selection of meats alone!

Even the thought of this scrumptious eatery induces profuse, excited sweats. I have never had a dining experience quite like Mongo's. I waltzed in there prepared for Asian-inspired takeout, but what I got was a symphony of the senses, with smells, sounds, sights, and flavors miles beyond my expectations. I'm no expert, but I would recommend Mongo's to everyone passing through St. Cloud.

By far one of the best places to eat, they have a great selection of food, the staff are informational and kind.

This restaurant is fun! You get to pick the meats, veggies, spices, and everything you want to eat and you can watch the people cook it. I can't wait to go back!

Upon arrival at Mongos, and after being seated, I promptly made my way to the mens washroom to relieve myself. Walking into the washroom, I'm immediately taken aback by the scene of a father who's clearly lost all control of his two children who are naked and screaming nonsensicals. I exchanged a troubled glance with another gentleman trying to go about his business, before entering the stall to finish up my own. The experience convinced me to never have children. On the other hand the food, while a bit pricey, was nothing less than satisfactory. I particularly enjoyed the crab.

Excellent choices for all the toppings! The guys on the grill are fun to listen to and watch. There's so many sauces, species, and add ons. One of my favorite places to go if I don't feel like doing a stir fry myself. I was disappointed that there wasn't shrimp the last time I visited however.

Love going to Mongo's! The service is always great along with the food. Having the options to have something healthy is huge and my family enjoys the atmosphere of Mongo's.

Came to mongos an hour before they closed and the girls were more focused on cleaning then delivering good customer service. Drinks were not served. I had to ask for drinks and refills. Alexis was working that night

Build your own! Fresh, tasty when you add the right stuff, atmosphere and service is fantastic. Not too expensive either.

Was good food. Pay by plate, not a bad idea. However with covid restrictions there is limited space in the cooking line, and doesn't compensate for the seating capacity. It can get busy and you wait +20 minutes to get back in line.

The food is very good! U build your own stir fry! U can pile on as much as u want! U get a lot for your money!

Decent food. It's a little pricey. A couple of times I have eaten there it didn't appear as sanitary as possible. Food on the ground, tables were a bit dirty.

Food is good, but weird charging structure, take a hint from any other buffet place and charge a flat rate for all you can eat, not by the plate.

Delicious! First time back since the new "post covid" rules and they are doing it right! Clear signs, spaced properly. Honestly, it gives you a little extra time to select from all of your favorite options! Everything was very clean and staff was excellent. Seriously, support this business and get to Mongos!!!

Good food but rules and pricing very confusing needs better clarification

Always great food, can t go wrong because you are the one making it! The only downfall is it takes a while to make your bowl and if you are with a group, the first people are usually done eating by the time the last ones get their bowls. Great food and service though!

Very unhygenic place cooks dont have beard guards on wich on turn let hair in our food. Was offered a gift certificate but we xeclined

I was shocked by how good this place is. You can make anything you want, even if you're vegan or gluten free or a total glutton. If you have a negative experience it's really your own fault!

If you dont like the food, you can only blame yourself for poor combos you assembled.

I have a lot of food allergies. They have gluten free choices and clean the grill before cooking my food

For my taste, it's too loud, and I hate putting my own food together. I suppose next time I could recreate what I ate but it's kind of doubtful. The price actually was not that bad. It's kind of like Old Country Buffet for people that might like some healthy vegetables. In any case, I don't think I'd frequent it a lot just because it's so loud.

The creativity is all up to you. Create what you want To eat and then enjoy.

Food was good. Design your own. But could be better with the staff training. 1 napkin only? No one came back to fill my water and place was maybe 1/3 full. Concept seems good but everything frozen? Meats and all?

It's like 10 during the day, 12 during the evening, not sure why people are saying that's overpriced, you get to load your bowl as full as you can get it, I always have leftovers when I leave. So basically I'm getting two meals out of it. I love the selection, lots to choose from, and a ton of sauce to choose from as well.

I go here every year for my birthday, and then a few more times during the year ( I live over an hour away) love it here! Absolutely my favorite restaurant by far. Workers are super friendly.

If you like Mongolian barbecue style food, you'll love this place. They have more vegetables and meats than you can imagine and choose from. You'll be entertained by the chefs who cook your food, and I highly recommend their desserts. They're great.

A great place to find almost anything you're craving in stir fry form

Been here many times, choose whatever you want from noodles to tofu, chicken to calamari, carrots to water chestnuts! You can choose from many sauces and spices, plus sides like wraps, eggs and rice. Great for everyone! They cook on a huge circle grill while you stand and watch.

A healthy fresh taste on food with the ability to create your own meals. From stir fry to pasta to curry, options are abundant!

There's a science to how to load up your bowl. You can stack it as high as you'd like. There's an endless bowl option too however, I had two days worth of leftovers. Fun atmosphere...but, can be difficult w a large group to create food and wait in line to have it cooked

Excellent process given the circumstances. Staff well informed, and super helpful. Unfortunately, there are just some guests that don't follow the rules, which can be frustrating and overwhelming.

Food service and quality was excellent. Servers seemed to not know what was going on, very flustered, and not organized for it being a Sunday afternoon.

I don't usually leave reviews but this place is make your own stir fry. Every vegetable, meat, seafood, sauces and spices you can imagine. If you don't like it you will the next time it's never the same twice. Literally tens of thousands of combinations.

Great food. Lots of it. Busy weekend lunch and dinner times. Love the place
