Mongo's Grill St. Cloud Review

Long wait times, but very decent food. Pick all your own ingredients, so it's your own fault if it's not delicious.

Healthy eating. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. And delicious food.

I always enjoy going here for lunch. Depending on the time you go can make a difference though if I tend to get there at 11:30 I can seem to beat the rush and not have to wait for my food to be cooked. My favorite part about eating here is the options they have. Compared to huhot I feel this place offers a bigger variety but you do only get one bowl and at huhot you can get as many as you'd like. That being said this is still a great place to eat I'm never disappointed yet. The food always seem to be kept at the proper temp when I'm there and the staff is nice. The only thing I wish was different is if you could do like two half bowls or something so you could try two different things without have to pay for another bowl but the plus is you get to take it home if you dont finish it. All around I would say eat here.

Always great food! They are also mindful of peanut allergies and will clean a spot on the grill thoroughly when it is mentioned that someone in your party has one. My mom was worried but she didn t need to be and we now have a place we love going together when in St. Cloud

This is my all time favorite place to eat! You get a free bowl on your b-day too!

My Coworkers and I frequent Mongo's once a month for lunch. If you go during peak times, expect a wait, but if you beat the rush you can get in and out under 45 minutes. For the price, it is pretty great food. Of course you choose your own fate as Mongo's features a "build-your-own" type of stir fry. Love it.

Go every chance we get. Wish we had one closer to home

It has something for everyone. The food is always fresh and amazing. I cannot recommend this restaurant strongly enough.

Been there once it was fine fill up a bowl and throw it wok fry it up and away you go .

This place is a lot of fun. I got to go with my family for a fun dinner. Best thing to do is to just make the biggest bowl you can. Just stack it as high as you can and enjoy. Definitely worth it.

Love this place, allows you to be creative with your food. Lots of selection, there are signs to let you know how sauces will taste before adding to your dish.

Great food. Lots of veggie choices. The noodles are very sticky so it's hard to get what you want. The sauces are also hard to ladle into your bowl without making a mess.

Build your own stir fry. Very good but a little over priced

I absolutely love Mongo's!!! Food is always delicious, wide variety, and the staff is awesome. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Great place for families, even the picky eaters. I recommend this place to everyone!

Me & my mom went there, their vents went out we got a bogo coupon bc they were closing. I went with my daughter and used the coupon and it took off the kids meal not mine. Complete bogus!

I like this restaurant, just not when its really busy. I dont think they should charge extra for the sad little soup and salad bar.

Literally if you can stack a plate you can eat!!! Flame fresh each plate super delicious!! Amazing service and amazing food!! I suggest this spot for anybody with a heavy tummy!!!

I've had good trips here. The last trip was negative. I made my stir fry like normal and wasn't as hungry. My left overs didn't fit in the take out box so I asked for another one and was told only one per customer by a very snooty waitress. My suggestions are either allow more than one box or have a larger box option. It is very wasteful and leaves a bad impression for the diner to leave the leftovers of what they ultimately paid for.

Great place wish we had one in Baxter by the way Olive garden closed.

Delicious food, tons of options for sauces and seasonings that most Mongolian grills don't offer. One of my favorite places to eat.

I love Mongos! There are so many options and you can put as much as possible in your bowl. It is also fun watching your food be made, which lotss of other places don't have. It's so much fun to see the energy in the workers! This is my favorite place to eat. Keep it up

It is a reasonable price with a wide range option of food and cards with suggestions for making a meal the people are nice its cooked fast you get to watch them cook on a grill thats basicly a giant circle platform with heat on the bottom they have foods that most restraunts dont have some are lamb scallops and baby corn it is very good

Not too happy about changes in price. Been going there since they opened. (90 miles to get there). Now dinner on your birthday day is essentially no longer free. You have to buy beverage and you're allowed 1 stir fry trip. Up charged for if you want to go back for more. Was never that way before and were not to sure we will be returning for anymore special occasions or otherwise. It's too bad because we've always liked going there. It really seems like the corporate office is squeezing every last dime out of people and not paying attention to leaving what works alone.

Very similar to HuHot, stir fry vegetable and for those that eat meat, seafood and land animal options. My wife and I love it for the vegan options. Cheerful, well lit, ambiance and friendly wait staff.

Got food poisoning on valentines day. Although the food tastes good, Mongos is one of if not the most unsanitary restaurants I have ever eaten at. Health inspector should have pushed you guys on the right track, definitely need to improve upon sanitization.

It's a rambunctious fun place. The food is ALWAYS fresh. The staff always professional and polite. This is the last one in the US. Love all of the fresh vegetables, meat and all of the different sauces you can use to make your own unique stir fry.

Always great service and food. Been coming here since I was 17 so 10 years now.. was really bummed they closed the one in maple grove since thats closer to me now.. but I'll still make the hour drive to saint cloud just for mongos anyday it's my absolute favorite and make all my friends come who haven't been

Easy to make your own dish. Fun atmosphere. You put the food together in a bowl, they cook it. There are recipes to follow.

My wife and i went here today(Wednesday) at 12:45 for lunch and was not open, or at least the sign was not lit up. This cost you a customer.

Great food, so many selections. But not a place to visit for a quick meal on a Friday night. But that was on us for picking such a popular establishment. The staff did a great job and it was entertaining to watch them prepare our food.

On a trip and heading back home. We were looking for a place a bit different from "travel food". A bit loud so carrying on a conversation was a little challenging, but the food was great.
