The only negative point was the food that wasn't great ....

I came to the MediClin Heart Center via detours. With this detour my trust has been lost. All employees at the Lahr Heart Center (whether doctors or nursing staff) have worked actively to rebuild my trust and have achieved this. A big thank you for that. I really appreciate this because healing only works with trust.
What I also learned to appreciate at the Lahr Heart Center are "the short ways". In my experience, the exchange between nursing staff and the medical profession works very well and this is practiced in very short ways. I feel safe and secure in the heart center.

I thank God first, all team and Dr. Farmer for the life of my husband. He needed a little repair.

The doctors are great and the nurses and nurses were great too. The whole team is well organized and very nice. One can only recommend the MediClin Heart Center.

TAKE THE OPPORTUNITY TO LUCKY ... In October 2020 I received a biological aortic valve. From the beginning I was welcomed very warmly and humanely. My fears were taken away from me and everything was explained in great detail. Special thanks to Prof. Dr. Bauer, Dr. Gottardi, Dr. Quick, Dr. Buchholz, Dr. Guzman, Dr. Hilberath and Dr. Diamantis. The care, especially Iris, Oli, Anke, Nicoletta, Lydia, the OR team, Tatjana and Misha from the intensive care unit and everyone else deserve great praise. Your warm and humane manner has greatly contributed to my recovery. You are all doing a great job. Thanks a lot for this!!! Many thanks also to the ladies at reception and in the ambulance.
Ms. Mandl from Social Services took care of everything regarding the rehabilitation clinic and permits from the start.
The food was really tasty, varied and plentiful. I can only recommend the heart center in Lahr. Expertise paired with humanity, what more do you need to get well again?

I stayed here for 10 days as an inpatient on the Herz3 ward.
I was operated on for a miral valve defect, and there was also an aortic valve defect, which was discovered during this operation and immediately corrected.
I would like to thank the medical team and the nursing team for their excellent work and the best care, and I can definitely recommend this clinic.

At the reception and in the treatment I received friendly, understanding and competent. The location of the hospital is also nice. A few free parking spaces are available.

I was in the clinic for a week.
I always felt that I was in very good hands with the doctors, nurses and nurses. If I included the food in the rating, it would totally falsify the rating. That's why I leave them out, but not without comment. The food, I put it this way, is not particularly tasty and not worthy of a heart clinic. From the fourth day I only ate fruit and yoghurt.

Doctors, nurses and other staff are very good at their craft. They will do their best to heal you and you will be in good hands here. They are knowledgeable and talented, but with little idea how to treat patients and family members with courtesy, kindness and a gentle bedside manner. They are cold and detached.
Also, instead of straight forward honesty, they spoke a sugar coated bullshit trying to make us feel better. Didn't work. I wanted to hear honest truth.

Our mother was successfully operated on the open heart (aortic valve) as a high-risk patient. We as relatives / children thank the team around Dr. med. Bauer expressly in the name of our mother, Mrs. Scholz, for attentive and attentive care. Many thanks to all participating doctors, to the sisters and nurses and last but not least the physiotherapists.
My brother and I have found the medical routine of such heavy procedures in Lahr to be reassuring. Contrary to other hospitals, we clearly had the impression that the patient had a lot of time without hectic rush

Furthermore, I would like to thank Dr Philip Gabriel who was responsible for the anesthesia, I was perfectly informed by Dr Gabriel before the procedure and was able to ask everything that was on my mind without time pressure.

I have already been to MediClin 3 times as a patient and can only report positive things.
I was outpatient twice and inpatient once.
Everything is well organized there, from reception, admission and treatment.
The entire staff including doctors are very friendly and competent.
Of course there are also waiting times, but that is nowhere to be avoided.
My impression is that the staff is well trained and a good one there

The Ortenau Clinic, whether in Lahr or Offenburg, can do in terms of friendliness and

I found out about the Lahr Heart Center through an information sheet in the newspaper. I have been a complex rhythm patient for 12 years and have been treated in another hospital the whole time. I came to Lahr for a second opinion. This appointment went well, the doctor was very competent and took the time to explain my diagnosis and the appropriate treatment option to me. I had a very good feeling about it. He recommended a cardiac catheter examination with possible ablation. For this, although I had acute complaints, a new appointment was made and I had to wait about 6 weeks. Now that the catheter examination took place, I am very disappointed with the procedure and results. The doctor has my medical history / diagnosis of 12 five minutes before the exam !!! Years of reading. He took little time and made no effort during the examination, so the result is very disappointing for me! As another patient has already written, unfortunately unsuitable for complex things!

On behalf of my brother-in-law, I would like to thank you with kind words and lots of praise. First of all, a big thank you goes to the doctors and professors who looked after me medically in December, but also to the nice nursing staff who looked after me and looked after me. Unfortunately, what I absolutely have to mention is the bad food, which I couldn't eat or see after the first day, breakfast and dinner were the same, especially since it wasn't made what you ordered and didn't get, and that For four days, the house should seriously think about how to change that, because it would be a shame for such a house that is very well known for its great reputation (medical).
After I had to come again in February for the planned surgery, I was able to have my lunch downstairs for the last few days, and one thing would like to say loud and clear here, this young man who served me was the most beautiful thing for a patient in Not only the food was very good, what he cooked, the human and caring manner is also very commendable, also during my first stay I enjoyed the food from downstairs, this person also spreads a very good mood takes one.
I can only recommend the house and I am very sure that you will get the small problem of patient care under control.
