Great place to come and relax with the family.
Our stay here was awesome. The staff are friendly, the amenities are fun and theres a good variety of things to do, the aircon in chalets were a life saver because the heat gets real here, the general condition of things was great! Keep it up!!!
The pizza at the restaurant is sooooo good! Especially the carnivore one !!!
Come prepared though, theres mosquitos & wasps.. BRING REPELLENT!!!
Nice camp box with far too many paper thorns full of campsite. Nightmare if you have little ones walking barefoot. It is as if there is not even an attempt to improve.
Great place just outside of Pretoria. Close to home, but feels far away. Nice campsite, good ablutions. Sometimes you can smell the neighbouring chicken farm, and some of the other campers can be a bit loud through the night, but overall, it's great for a quick weekend away.
Beautifull setting in nature and very neat. Everything works and is well maintained.
Great camping spots with kitchen and bathroom per stand. Makes camping just that bit more comfortable if that is what you want.
Kids loved it. The only disappointment and the major reason why we chose the lodge was the super slide. We received an sms the Saturday morning informing us the slide was closed till further notice! If we had know this would happen we would definitely have rather chosen a resort where we could have gone on game drives with our own cars.

Stunning place. Very warm and welcoming staff. The little ones would enjoy it here. There are alot of activities especially the safari tour and the crocodile tour., meet amd Greet(braai) .Tours were very informative...
Upon winter they have air conditioners , heated blankets so you never have to worry about the cold on the inside. Much warmer outside.
Amazing place to stay and very close to Joburg. The staff is super friendly and our tour guide Lazararus was very friendly, politely answered all our questions and was very well informed about the animals.Will definitely visit again.
Went there for my honeymoon. Everybody was welcoming and loved how quiet it is. Enjoyed the game drive and the Tuesday night braai. Amazing view from the Le Fera restaurant. The staff are very helpful. Units are always clean and the food was delicious. This place is worth every penny spent.

I have never seen so many flies in my
Life. The chalets are full of flies, the swimming pool is full of flies, it is disgusting. Will not recommend this lodge to anyone.

Friendly staff to lend a helping hand with setting up campsite. Overall the grounds are well kept and maintained. The communal ablution blocks are very clean and tidy. The luxury campsites each have their own private bathroom and kitchen with all the standard household appliances. This makes camping at Monateng a lot easier and hassle free.
We had 100 children on a rainy day. The facilities are great and the staff were very professional and friendly. The Waterpark was opened and we had great fun.

It was a lovely stay, until someone gave the eland at the crocodile farm a plastic bag to eat.
Restaurant and bar definitely not up to standard. The website of Monateng creates a false impression. It is not at all what they advertise.
Very pricy, Neat ablutions. Pity you have to book for game drives and are not allowed to self drive. They have a huge problem with flies.

The lunches here are very good, specifically the Venison Pot Pie and the sandwiches.
The only reason that I am rating 4 stars is because the supper here isn't that good and for the lack of ingredients.
