Had a blast celebrating a 40th birthday! Lovely service from the spa, casino, lounges, valet.....wish we could have stayed one more day!

Haven't been in awhile. Maybe a year and a half. And apparently I'm not the only one. How times have changed. We went there just to get a good bite to eat at the buffet. But it's only open certain days now. Most places were closed till 4 or 5. The valet parking, which is now $6, literally took over 15 minutes just to get room to park, so someone eventually made their way over to you to give you a ticket. Leaving was equally bad. We watched one older couple brought the wrong car 3 times. Actually we watched a lot of things as we stood and waited over 20 minutes for our vehicle. The kid at the the ticket claim, who also retrieved coats at the coat check said they were "short staff". From my time observing, I would also say their system is antiquated and flawed. Maybe 1.5 yrs from now things will be better.

Years ago this was a premier casino in the newly established Pa gaming, but has fallen vastly short of late, lack of crowd, closed tables,stale slots and what seems to be a popular topic...lack of payouts has diminished this one time hotspot. However based on location it still offers a casino where there is no competition so you either like it or leave it.

We just parked the RV for the night, while traveling. Quiet night's sleep.

I don't stop that often. I don't find the slot selection too great, and the whole place smells like smoke, whether you are in the smoking or non smoking, no walls seperate the two.

Would of given 5 stars but wasn't able to find anyone to get a beverage.

Not really for me. Good place for the older crowd I suppose, although at least of the people there can be pretty obnoxious. It is a casino after all.

Nice place I was there on a Sunday it was packed... waitresses were still all around and easily accessible. Machines kept you playing.

Went for a birthday celebration. Great time with friends.

Not bad, but for the price of the room I was expecting more. The room didn't even have a mini fridge! I've stayed in much cheaper rooms that were better.

Pretty air quality great for non smokers, wish there was some play time on the slots. I dont mind losing but like some fun exciting activity.

We've stayed at the hotel twice and both times service was lacking. We called and received an early check in and arrived around 1:00. We unloaded our luggage onto the sidewalk. There were no bellmen to be seen and you aren't allowed to use the luggage carts. I stayed with the luggage and my husband went to check in.

He came back 5-10 minutes later not happy. He wasn't allowed to check in because the room was in my name -- even though our credit card numbers were the same. We've never had issues with this in the past, but I understand their policy.

So...I went in to check in. Only one person was working. And two people were in front of me. I waited...and waited...and waited...the person we later figured was the manager came out and immediately went to the back. I finally got up to the counter and made sure I was very friendly to the person working -- the circumstances are not their fault. I checked in and asked about getting a bellman (the bellman/concierge desk was unmanned) and she said she would send one out.

So I went out with my husband and our luggage. And waited...waited some more...and waited more. I decided to take the first load of luggage up to the room, hoping the bellman was going to come to help us with the rest. Of course, that didn't happen. I came back down and my husband and I hauled the rest of our things up to the room.

My husband did speak to the manager on duty expressing his displeasure with the whole situation, but of course they didn't care. It took us well over an hour to check in and get up to our room -- which is totally unacceptable.

Check out was more of the same. We waited 30+ minutes for a bellman (but at least they came!). There was another huge line for check out. We were told we were going to have to have our valet ticket validated, but after our car was loaded my husband came in and told me he had our keys. Once I knew that, I just dumped the hotel keys and valet ticket on the counter and got out of there.

The room itself is fine, but they are by no means sound-proof. We had a ton on noise from the hallway, but we survived. I dislike not have a refrigerator in the room, so if you expect to keep things (like leftovers) cold, you'll have to make other arrangements.

We ate at Rustic Kitchen and this was a nice experience (we've eaten there twice before). This is a nice choice for dinner. The food court is basically empty, so there are not a lot of choices for something quick to eat.

If you play video poker and know enough to care about payouts, this is NOT the casino for you. The payouts are horrible (6/5 on 0.25 and 0.50 Double Double machines; 7/5 on $1 Double Double). There are a lot of slot machines, but it is very difficult to figure out where the smoking section ends and the non-smoking begins. Other casinos I've visited in PA have signs on each machine to help guide you. Overall, though, it was very smokey and made me miss the casinos in NY.

Would we stay here again? Under normal circumstances, no. The service at the hotel is below average and the lack of refrigerators in the room is not the best when we are travelling (we have medications that should be refrigerated). This was not our first choice for this weekend, but because of it was relatively last-minute and all of the other hotels were booked, we ended up here and paid over $400/night for sub-par service. It's a shame, because with a little effort from management this could be worth the money.

This entire building smells like a dirty ash tray. It hits you as soon as you walk in the door by the bus drop off.

Great casino area, they have done a great job to protect everyone from my few hours there.

Bed was comfortable and room clean. Staff unfailingly kind, friendly and helpful in hotel, restaurants and casino.

Fun,good atmosphere and so many things to get into.

Service was quick and easy. While it is a bit of a hassle to have to use the hotel entrance (as I'm not old enough to gamble), the food is certainly worth it.

Lots of fun with a great atmosphere! They need a better waitress system or lots more of them, i f you can locate a waitress you can get a drink in a half hour or so.

It's clean,well lit, valet parking is great, server's are very good and polite,and rooms are nice. Payouts are the best in the state.

Disappointed. Room was very dusty. No refrigerator. No view whatsoever. No atmosphere. For the cost, you should get more. Next time I'll be staying at The Woodlands down the road.

It's fun and easy place to get around and service is great.

Worst casino I've ever been too. The staff is rude & the machines don't pay... Save yourself the aggravation!

I stopped for a brief amount of time to play the slots and relax after a long week of work. The casino is clean and welcoming. It did the trick.

Too long of a trip to lose your money the scenery inside is wonderful but to lose your money you need to go somewheres close to home

Management made new changes that made Mohegan Sun less popular in some people's eyes like the BUFFET, PARTY ON THE PATIO,VALET SERVICE (charging non members) keep catering to your WHALERS and see how many people are there in a year...or if YOU'RE even there... SMART MOVES ... NOT you asked!!!

Great clean casino with a always busy horse track! Loved our stay here!

I wish they had more roulette tables but I love Mohegan Sun. They give free slot play along with match play and although I have never won anything they're constantly calling people's name for prizes.

Decent sized casino with lots of dining options, and special events.

I would have had a really good time if it was not for all the cigarette smoke. Even in the sections of the casino labeled no smoking I still had people sit by me and lite up. I wish they could find a way to keep it separate living. I went originally to see a band but because of all the smoking I left the bar early. It was not enjoyable for me.

It was just a really nice experience to watch and be a part of, it was clean and the staff were impeccably professional

Bad ,not like it was when it first opened a lot of changes. Some good some not so good. I ate at Johnny Rockets for lunch, never again. Food was not the best and prices were high. Not worth it.

Very nice casino !!!! Has plenty of different games, all you could want and generally not too busy. Restaurants and hotel round things out for a decent weekend away place>

Nice place for the area. Payout seems lower than average. Lots to do.
