They do not accept PayPal or credit cards for payment for recreational permits, so I was unable to get one on time, from Canada. Unfortunately, this made it impossible to see everything I wanted to on state lands on my trip to New Mexico. Hopefully it can become easier for permits to be purchased by people from long distances.
Current NM State Land Commissioner is an embarrassment. A politician who is anti-oil and gas in an oil and gas state that collects billions from the industry. Hypocrisy rules the day! NM gets what it votes for!
