This place is great. Go-to for lunch, but get there earlier than later to avoid the line (there is a reason there is a line though, it's damn good). Sandwiches are all killer. Ingredients are really good. Service is great. Seasonal items are worth exploring (Gaucho = one of the best salads on earth).

First of all, can I just admit that I come here 30% of the time just so that I can be in the financial district?! Yeah, I'm a sucker for that sorta thing. But BESIDES that, I'm also a major fan of salad bars. College made me a super salad fan and all the fresh ingredients that Mixt Greens offers is sure to excite your palate! (The portions, btw...ASTRONOMICAL). Warning! The place is small and it's best to get your salad to-go.

If you go to one Mixt you ve been to them all essentially. What can I say about this particular one? There s limited indoor seating and most of the seating inside is high-tops. In the warmer days, there is a side street with outdoor seating about 10 small tables or thereabouts.

I can tell you what I order, it is out of this world! Get romaine lettuce, put cranberries, walnuts, golden beets, goat cheese, eggs, parmesan and avocado on it. Avocado extra but worth it. I put bacon on it, sometimes chicken and bacon. Sometimes I don't even put dressing on it. (Especially since they discontinued my favorite dressing. Lemon juice and olive oil is quite wonderful though if you really want something on it.) It is still out of this world.

Mixt Greens is one of healthiest and tastiest options for lunch in downtown SF. They are a regular rotation for catering options (at least 1/week), and remains a constant hit and fave of the office. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Props to the Sansome team for consistently providing great service both in-house and delivery. **Personal favorites: Salads: Maui (for variation: add soba), Cowboy, Madison, Bachelor, Dagwood Sandwiches: Disco, Royale **Make this mix: mixt greens, seared ahi tuna, pea shoots, fresh herbs, red pepper, cucumber, edamame, soba noodles, sesame soy dressing

This is my go-to place for lunch. I eat elsewhere, but not very often.. Salads are big, ingredients are fresh and universally of excellent quality. They are not cheap, but you do get an impressive amount of salad for your $10 - $12 lunch. Pro tip - if you don't want to wait in line get there before 11:30 or after 2 pm and all is good. If you want a quick salad during prime time, there's almost always pre-made salads boxed in the front cooler by the drinks.

As much as I hate paying $15 for a salad, if you're going to do it, this is the place. They have a large number of options for both rice bowls and salads, many of them incorporating local and seasonal ingredients. If you go at peak lunch hours, expect a long line, but don't worry, it moves pretty quickly. If you want a delicious, fresh salad that you don't mind paying a little extra for, check this place out.
