MISSSEY is a non-profit organization that envisions a world without commercial sexual exploitation. The organization was founded in 2007 by Nola Brantley and Vednita Carter, two survivors of commercial sexual exploitation who wanted to create an organization that would provide services to other survivors and work towards systemic change.
The name MISSSEY stands for Motivating, Inspiring, Supporting, and Serving Sexually Exploited Youth. The organization's mission is to provide supportive services and work towards systemic change in the lives of commercially sexually exploited youth.
