I was looking for a business that could do a simple binding job in a timely manner and within my budget. After reviewing a few local places, I decided to go to Minuteman Press in Tysons. From the moment I walked in the door, I was made to feel welcome and although my job was small, they took great care to offer suggestions that they felt would be best. I worked with both Chris and Vik (the owner). A small error in the initial sample was corrected immediately and they turned out a perfect product in 3 days. And this was during the busy Christmas season! I will never go anywhere else for future printing or binding needs.
Requested a quote for business shopping bags nearly 2 weeks ago and haven t received it. I filled out their form on the website under a particular shopping bag I was interested in. Someone sent me a quote for business cards and I responded immediately stating that I wanted shopping bags. Ali replied that he would get back to me and I haven t heard back from anyone yet, it s going on 2 weeks.
Like most people Who search for services I started by asking (in my case) a local online group if they knew someone who could handle a short notice printing job. (Honestly to small for printing centers and to big for like a Kinkos in my time frame) I was quoted $0 because they wouldn't talk to me unless I wanted to print 600 items, I only needed 100. Feeling defeated I was recommended Minuteman Press and I figured I just give it a try expecting to be shamed for my quantity but to my surprise, from the moment they said hello these guys were genuinely there to help. They appear to be a business that's been around a long time and older companies tend to lose their drive to satisfy anything outside of their set ways but these guys treated my order as if I was spending Major dollars. The commutation was great, even had me make some adjustments so my quality would print the Highest possible. That to me was even more amazing. Some places would just take the job and roll since I'm the one who designed it poorly but Vivek sent back and email and kindly said "check this out, notice this, let me know if you'd like to proceed etc." Then to top it off Vivek happens to live closer to my home and after his long day at work, was willing to meet me simply for my convenience. I highly recommend them. Beyond their service the product was great!
I was sooooo overly excited that there was a family owned print shop less than 5 min from my home - I thought it would be best to try out this company and maybe drop the company i have been using online especially that its beyond convenient of how close it is- i started selling my designs and have been getting orders and was excited for an opportunity to work with a company that I can use and is close to home rather than have an online company . I went ahead and ordered 5 - 8x10 prints at around 2pm- the employee told me to come back at 4:30 which was great since i needed 1 important 8x10 . i came back only to be disappointed in the way the print came out-
1. One of the prints i had asked for was cropped out and i had said I didnt want the person in the picturebto be cropped and wanted more space - (since he worked at a print shop i just assumed he was going to do it right the first tine but i was wrong- but luckily he printed another one and gave them to me.
2. There was a print where i had told him specifically where to crop it out to whcih he did but left an empty space on one side and said it was due to the original size of the print that he couldnt make it smaller . Hw then cut the empty soace part- he gave me all the new prints only to see i had 3 dofferent sizes for each print. I asked him about this he then explained to me that there was noway hed be able to make the oeint smaller. i then said that i dont want to buy this because its useless to me now since i need an 8x10 , he got upset that i didnt want to buy these teo prints and told me I WAS the one that told him to cut it. I had said i wanted an 8x10 and i didnt get an 8x10 and wasnt taking me not purchasing that specific 8x10- I ended up paying for all 5 prints and I am really annoyed at myself for not stopping the payment , i had my 5 yo with me and wasnt in the mood to argue which is surprising given the fact im 7 months pregnant. I thought id just write this review and tell you guys about the lack of customer service this company has. I needed 1 urgent print today and decided to add the other 4 because i was so excited but instead i lost money that way - save ur money and go somewhere where they dont make you feel like yiu are the one at fault. No need for unnecessary stress! Ill just continue to use the online company , its just i really wanted to be working with a Family owned business.
I was very impressed with Minuteman Press Tysons. We sent them our rescue's logo and asked for car magnets and stickers and their quality of work and time of return was better than promised. What was just as nice was the constant communication that our representative maintained with us. I would highly recommend them and I plan to use them again!
I am in town from Wenatchee, Wa attending to a family emergency and
needed a printing job done. As good fortune would have it the first and last call i made was to this store. Now this was a small job and I know from past experiences most printers would turn their nose up at this and
typically charge a very high price. Vick answered the phone and listen to what i needed and expertly guided me thru some options and in less than 10 minutes we had a solution. Within a couple hours I had a proof
which was spot on and i had the job in hand in less than two days it was perfect. Oh and the price was the best i have ever gotten having done
like similar jobs before. Even thou I live on the other side of the country
I would not hesitate to use their services again.
Needed small printing job for family book I had written with 180 pages. I had never done this before. Vic and his team were very accommodating in various revisions as I kept finding spelling and content errors. Great help in helping with layout and font for back and front covers. I had shopped this around and found their pricing to be the best for what I was looking for, and given the end result I found this to be a great value. Also appreciated the personal attention. Happy to recommend them.
The team at the Tysons Minuteman Press is fantastic! They have always provided excellent customer service with my last minute rush orders and top quality products. I'm so glad I found them because not only do they offer better prices and products than the bigger name printing services, they are just all-around great at what they do.
Superb. I was in town for an annual meeting, and normally print my materials (large-format posters, etc) at FedEx, but their equipment was down so I called Minuteman in a last-minute crisis. Chris was extremely courteous and efficient, getting my job processed and completed on a very quick turnaround, with excellent communication throughout the process - and a final price that was about 15% less than FedEx!!! FedEx has been courteous and effective in the past, and it's not their fault their equipment was down, but I will be coming to Minuteman next time I'm in town for all printing needs, and will tell my colleagues to use them. They had a highly personalized and responsive approach, and I really appreciated their help today.
Simply the best. I have used Minuteman press Tyson's for couple of years now. We have business near by and they have always been best service for our printing needs. Vick and team are very responsive and get things done on time with quality. I highly recommend them.

All of them helped us manage to get through the stressful times during the marriage ceremony. We had started printing the cards 1 month ago the marriage. These people are so efficient in what they do that they did all we asked for in a reasonable price, and didn't even ask for the left over payment which was due after the marriage days passed by. Although, i managed to pay that soon. We couldn't even realize what we needed to do or what not during the stressful times.

I approach Minuteman Press Tysons with an order for a new rescue group that I work with. I needed high quality magnets and stickers for use on cars. Our daughter created the wedding invitations for her older sister's wedding. It was our first wedding to plan and I was in search of a print shop who would work with us on things like paper weight, components of the invitation and an overall look appropriate for a wedding. Danielle was immensely helpful in all aspects of planning and executing of the stationary. We received the invitations when promised, they looked beautiful and were exactly what we had hoped for. A few months later, she also helped with programs and thank you notes, which also turned out to be beautiful. We are in NY and I found out at noon on a Friday, before a holiday weekend, that I needed a flyer printed and delivered to the Marriott before the end of the day. They were extremely professional, I needed them to print our wedding menus on cotton deckled edge paper. Staples and FedEx had turned me down they said the paper is too difficult to print on. Minuteman presented me with several plans they had to make it work, they worked with me to get the best results with the most affordable option. I ll definitely be coming back. I had a super rush order for an unexpected funeral service. I had no graphic arts or designs and I had low quality smart phone photos to use. They designed the post cards I wanted to create to hand out prior to the service and they designed the funeral program for the service. They also created a few 11x17 picture posters for me in a short period of time. They completed everything beautifully, expeditiously and at a very reasonable cost. They are in a great location so it was super easy to go there anytime. The Customer Service was OUTSTANDING! They were fast and easy to deal with. I would highly recommend them.
