I love this zoo. Great animal enclosures and excellent parks/playgrounds. My son just loves it. The whole layout is lovely. We did the Jack O Lantern exhibit and it was beautiful, but didn t seem to be organized adequately for the amount of people. It was very crowded and lines were very long. The actual experience was very dark and chaotic with people walking into you. Very easy to lose a child, so a glow necklace would be helpful. All of this should be more readily articulated to guests as you are not expecting to stand in line for over an hour and a stroller would have been very helpful for the line (even though not needed at the zoo).

We were given a pass for Nature Illuminated. The exhibit itself was cool, however the 90 min wait to even start the tour was not appreciated. The audio went faster then the driving pace, and there needed to be more than 2 port-a-potties. Signage that would have also been appreciated.
Hope it was a successful fundraiser for the zoo!

Good to have the zoo open again! One way walking-route, and reservations reduces crowds at exhibits. Animals were out and active (possibly because there wasn't a crowd pounding on the glass?)

Honestly best experience in a while. Minnesota Zoo did a great job dealing with Covid-19 while giving a feeling of normalcy again. Please buy your tickets in advance, and support our local zoo!! #MNZoo we missed you!!

Lots of walking but plenty to see and do along the way. The llama feeding was very enjoyable for even the young kids in my group. If you plan on seeing the farm animals plan on using a lot of hand sanitizer or washing your hands a lot.

The crocodile is fake.

A good zoo if a little pricey. The mini aquarium section is a nice addition and there is a good mix of indoor and outdoor exhibits.

I have always loved the MN Zoo but this Jack O Lantern event that they have added now for the last two yrs, so worth my time both years!! Was different from last, 2018 which I didn't expect but way cool to see the theme they did this year. The 'Winx', stop is always worth a stop and laugh. Ya can't help but wiggle to the tune and check out all the pumpkins. Not one being the same...Not one! Thanks MN Zoo for another great Lantern time.

We got to see piglets that were only a few days old, on top of all the other fun zoo things. The walkways were clean and the day overall was nice (a little chilly but it was April so I think that s normal for the area).
Someone let a bunch of horses into the Canadian Goose exhibit, but they seemed to get along fine.

We love this zoo. Its big but can be split to see parts of it at a time. The tropical beach event is fun and after 3 hours, my granddaughter still did not want to leave. Food is reasoable to by at this zoo. Friendly staff and volunteers.

Very very cool Zoo, and you can tell they take care of their animals which really made me feel good. Be prepared for a long walk though. Call ahead and ask when feeding time is, it is really neat to see the workers feed the animals

It's expensive to bring the whole family but we made a day of it and got our money's worth. The aquarium, bird show, wolf den, and llama exhibits were highlights. Wonderful way to spend the day. Animals were sleepy when we went mid day.

Amazing. New theater seats. New amazing two for one deals. The best hands down place to see any 3D movie not limited to non 3D, but amazing overall. Highly recommended for any movie you are super super excited to see.

It's a great zoo, one of the finest, and has enough indoor exhibits to warrant a visit even in the depths of winter. It's clear they really try to provide a great zoological experience while also caring well for the animals. You won't find as many "big name" animals here (no elephants, lions, etc) but you'll see some very interesting things . I'd love to dock them a star for their expensive admittance fees and parking, but I think that's the cost of effective and humane zoo management these days. Still, I'd recommend bringing your own snacks unless you really enjoy high priced low quality food.

So much to see and do at the zoo no matter what the weather is. They have created a beautiful place both indoors and out for the animals and for families to come enjoy the day. All seasons there are new things to do for kids. The sand boxes inside are a great escape during the winter and the farm and playgrounds during the summer are so much fun. Also the ability to do weddings here is so cool.

Be prepared to walk!! We came in from the tiger lot and couldn't find a map anywhere! We had to wander around trying to find where certain animals were. The animals themselves seemed happy and engaged, but some windows need cleaning. Also kangaroo crossing needs a bit more of a determined path way as people didn't know where they were supposed to walk.
