Mimis Cafe Review

Food was great, service was really polite and fast. Mimi's Cafe is a really comfy, nice place to have meal, especially while visiting Disney!

We really did like the food here at this place. And to our added enjoyment was the fact that it was not overpriced at all. Considering its location, it was very moderately priced. We didn't have to wait very long to get seated and get served. And the parking was good also. Granted we did come on a Monday night. It was my 2nd time at Mimis and I would come back again.

Good food that was reasonably priced. The portions were also perfect as was the friendly service. My wife and I have been here twice now during our Disneyland vacations.

Perfect!! I was so happy with my meal. Service was excellent and food was fantastic!!!! Ask for Jacqueline, she was an amazing server!!

This Mimis was so good! I had the pot roast, it was delicious.

Staffs were so rude! I got rushed to order, and I didn t even get what I order! Staffs were so lazy! The food seemed horribly made, and it didn t even taste good. Horrible! One star!

Great for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Delicious muffins and zesty dishes, but the amount of tourists will certainly have patrons waiting at peak hours.

This is not the best Mimi's I've been to. Service was mediocre, even though we were there during an hour that was not very busy. Food was not as good as we have had in the past.

I have been a regular customer of Mimi's for over 30 years. Used to go for all occasions and with out of town guests, lunch with friends, etc. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case. You messed with the onion soup, which was my main reason for going. It taste awful now. Your French fries are not fit to eat. Slimy, under cooked and greasy. So, no onion soup, no French fries, therefore, no us. Also your prices are way over the top. So many other nice restaurants with good food, and good prices, so, good bye Mimi's. I used to eat at the Yorba Linda and Corona Mimi's. This says Anaheim, but I'm sure it's just as bad.

The food is delicious along with their bread .
Pricing could be a little better, especially since some of the portions are small

Hadn't eaten at Mimi's for a few years. Menu choices are much better. Half chicken was delicious.

The location across from Disneyland makes it convenient for those who are staying in a hotel nearby. However I was disappointed by the meal we had. The service was quite good but the food lacks any real pazazz.

This is a really nice place to have a breakfast and move to Disneyland after it. Portions a big, waiters are very active. I can't say that this cafe is something outstanding, but it really good and quality place in the area.

What a surprising find along the Disney strip. Cute little French restaurant with long and varied menu. Good for kids and parents. And way less expensive than you would think. If we ever go back to Anaheim, we'd totally go there again.

Great tasty breakfast and reasonable pricing but if you're an Aussie you're not going to enjoy the coffee here... but that goes for most of the US...

Stayed opposite at Howard Johnson, and on the way to Disney, the perfect stop.

Went here many years ago. Really great food, great atmosphere.

We had a big party. The manager forced us to get our meals on the same check. He took along time like almost 45 minutes to get my soup to me. I had to ask for refills. He never asked me. It took along time to get my check to me even though five of us did our check together. I kept trying to get his attention but he just kept walking on by not paying attention. My friend had to take the bus and he took so long my friend probably didn't get home until 10 pm. The service was terrible. I don't know if I'll ever eat there again. The food was so so. The fries were completely cold and dudnct taste good at all...the burger was good.

Food was fantastic and pricing was very reasonable. Our waitress and service was outstanding! Definitely will come again when we're in town!

Went to Anaheim location and we had the best service we've ever had at a Mimi's restaurant. The food if course was terrific. Just sad to see this location be so impacted by Disneyland closure, but hope it survives because it is such a good place to eat.

Food was excellent. We were seated rather quickly, and received our food in a timely manner. The atmosphere is very laid back and family friendly.

Dined here for breakfast and dinner on my honeymoon in 2009 and again on a business trip in 2017. Great service, great American food and very reasonably priced.

I ordered the egg in a hole croque madam and waited about 30 min for 2 dry pieces of bread with a piece of ham in the middle. It was supposed to have Swiss cheese, parmesan cheese and a sauce on it but mine came just dry with ham. I didn't even have a chance to talk to the waiter because he just dropped off our food and was no where to be found after that. I had to walk around the restaurant to find him for our check. It was a very disappointing experience.

Great food and service. They also have tasty muffins and croissants.

The Mimi's in Anaheim was very good. The service was excellent, and the food came HOT to the table, everything was clean and the tables were NOT sticky!

So slooooooooooooooooooooooooooow... Bad service. Waited 45 minutes for a cold burger. No water refill for 50 minutes, people in our party asked for drink refills 3 times and it never happened had to go physically chase someone. Burgers came back microwaved. Reread that last sentence before picking this place.

I've heard such great things about Mimi's and finally got to eat here. Definitely didn't meet expectations. Staff was friendly but pre-occupied and the food didn't come out right.

It was recommended to us before going to Disneyland for the morning. Out server was nice but everyone else seemed to ignore us. The food was nice but it was a little pricey. The servings are pretty large.

I can only speak for the breakfast here, but the food is great! It's a nice, cozy and comfortable restaurant in the morning. The service, however, varies and really depends on who your server is. It has never been very uniform service the various times I have been here for breakfast.

Served 2 Orders of Corned beef benedict without the poached eggs! Manager apologized but it caused our guests visiting disney to miss the movie they had planned to see in downtown disney and the rest of our partys food became cold while we waited. However food was good thats why I gave it 3 stars

We ordered a Thanksgiving Feast for our dinner. Over the years we have gone out for dinner and was very unhappy, either it was way to salty or just wasn't good. This is THE BEST Thanksgiving dinner Ever! My family and I talked about all night.
The Turkey was so moist, stuffing & potatoes were simply amazing along with the rest of the sides!. This will now be our Thanksgiving dinner place. Can't bet it hands down. Thank you Mimis Cafe in anaheim for making my dinner so wonderful!!

Jim the store manager has got some of the best customer service I haven't seen in ages. He stepped right up to help me arrange a Holiday Dinner for some friends that had a difficult family experience. Jim, you have made a real difference in this families life and their Holiday together. Food is always good but total bjll climbs even with a 2 for one coupon if not careful.

Not crowded.... good food and so worth it when you go in with a coupon. I hate that they are disappearing. Where am I going to get a great buttermilk spice muffin? Let's hope they hold on a while longer.

I love Mimi s. I go to location near me on a monthly basis. This Mimi s, however, only cares about making a profit. Understandable, given the area, but they will dime and nickel you for everything that they can. When asked why versus the other locations, they give the good old policy varies by location excuse. Be careful of what you order. Staff may make suggestions that are upcharges without informing you. Don t expect refills on anything but soft drinks, including for kids meals. If you want Mimi s for the price you re expecting Mimi s to be, don t go to this location.

P.S Food was on point as always like you d want it to be, but they should use special menus at the very least to warn customers of their local policy on things that frequent Mimi s diners may not expect.

Food was not good at all and over priced... Of course only because it's near Disney Land. Server was extremely slow, place wasnt very crowded and yet we were there for almost 2 hours...2 people!!

Great food, went here twice and both times they missed every change we requested to our orders.

I loved the place, it is cozy and clean. The staff were very friendly and helped with our choices. The coffee was great, the food was eveb better. Generous portions and great quality, i even forgot to take a picture. I recommend the cheese sandwich and the Santa Fe omelette. The blueberry muffin is great too. I happened to forget my bag there and they kept it safe until i came back for it. I am really thankful for that. A great overall experience.

food is OK but the service is lousy. being in the resort district makes this place very busy but makes the wait staff complacent.

Service was SLOWWWWWW! Took over an hour to get our food, and with a toddler and preschooler it wasn't ideal. One member of our party didn't receive his dessert but we were tired of waiting. Wouldn't suggest going when busy

I've got the BEST service and meal in any Mimi's EVER! If it weren't for the best server, Nicholas, I wouldn't have gone back a second time. I get served with a smile, efficiency and kindness. My meal is cooked to perfection and Nick makes sure the coffee is fresh, keeps checking on me and offers other goodies. I'm certainly going to be a regular at this particular restaurant. I wanted and needed to treat myself; I ended up with a double treat that lasted for the whole week.
