Milo's Tea Company, Inc. Review

Always loved Milo s tea. The last few times I ve bought it there has been debris in the tea. It s like it skipped a filtering process. Someone should be checking what goes out the door. When it gets better again, I will comment again.

This is absolutely the greatest tea I've ever drank.

I worked part-time for Milo's Tea for over a year in two locations. Started in Charleston, SC and then transferred to Tucson, AZ. I stopped working there about 2 months ago. Bottom line, I would not recommend this job to anyone. Here s my story Although there were some issues in Charleston, the real problems started in Tucson with constant payroll mistakes not in my favor. I was paid hourly and had to check my paycheck every week for accuracy and then report the discrepancies to my manager (Robby Howard) who had lots of excuses. And, after I transferred to Tucson, I realized that SC state taxes were (illegally) still being taken out of my paycheck in addition to Arizona state taxes. When I brought this to Robby s attention - he passed me off to an HR Payroll clerk named Christy who was no help. (And Robby would not do anything to help.) The Payroll clerk admitted their mistake and said she would look into it but never did anything about it. Milo''s owes me about $150.00 in state taxes. The other issue with Milo's Tea is that Walmart is the main store you work in - standing for 6 hours in the refrigerated section and pulling stock from the freezing cooler. You are not allowed to sit at any time you must stand. And Walmart employees could care less about Milo's Tea. There were ALWAYS inventory issues - out of stock, frozen product, disorganized cooler and expiration dates. Overall, I found Milo's Tea to be a very frustrating part-time job. No communication and no support.

Arrived 15 hours before appointment .Was able to get loaded in gone in 30 minutes. Plus free sample was good .

After finally gettin a taste of Milo's I thoroughly enjoyed it. It went down smooth and is just the right sweetness.
I do slightly prefer Lipton's Pure Leaf for a bit more tea flavor but for the price Milo's wins out although living in Buffalo,NY makes it a challenge to easily access Milos .

Loaded here several times.. Most times was fairly good sometimes it takes a while but the people are nice

I've been drinking Milos tea for a year now & it's about the best tea I've had! I choose this tea over pure leaf tea and the pure leaf tea I was buying is higher. Milos tea is affordable and taste better! The yellow capped Milos tea which is no calorie is OK but the red cap taste alot better!! I am glad that you all came out with this tea and I will continue to buy this tea! It is very good! I usually purchase this tea at Walmart!! Delicious.

This place is an absolute joke for loading truck. Check in @ 07:40 in a door at 16:20 and still waiting to get loaded @ 19:50.

A great sweet tea that I'm happy to see our hardware stores and Walmarts in Ohio carry.

Arrived 0915 appointment 1200 call took place at approximately 1700. Was advised by milos rep at ext 136 that appointment times have nothing to do with loading its who you drive for and where your going that makes a difference and they would get to me when they can. I was brokered through garrison and hauling for walmart for next day delivery in northern indiana.
1730 still waiting by the fence.1800 finally assigned a door. 2000 still in door havent been hit yet. 2300 finally loaded and rolling out of here for the final time. Never again Not a good way to run a shipping office

Great facility. Well organized and for some great tea.

Personal opinion, probably the best tea on the market. I've tried everything from Lipton to Red Diamond and Milo's beats them all. The flavor is amazing and its sweetened just right.

They got me loaded promptly. I tried a milo's tea they gave me, its very good tea.

Better if you have a dropped trailer.

They let you unhitch your wagon in the satellite lot or loading areaand leave until your appointment time. What made my trip so bad was the Shipping clerk. My appt was 1600 but I was told 0400 next day. Then I checked again at 0100 and was told not until 1600 the following day. Fortunately, the dispatcher was able to get it straightened out. I got in a door right away, dock hands loaded me in less than 1 hr. I hope that if I load there again, they don't do the same stuff. Two strikes and you're out,far as loads go.

Worst place to load out of. Got here at 8am now it s 11.30am still waiting. Now I m late for my delivery stay far away from this shipper. You figured the main plant has there stuff together. Oklahoma plant is better than this place.

I absolutely love this tea! So glad I found it. Bottle is plain, nothing fancy But, I'll take it! Excellent, Natural and great pick me up Highly recommend to others. No preservatives after taste like most of the big brands.

7 hours to get loaded , product was refused by Publix now we are waiting for 6 hours to unload product and no door this company is not good is a joke! Those people don t care about drivers!

The tea and lemonade is the best I also run loads out the Bessemer facility the people there are so nice and awesome Mr and family can't get enough of milos tea

Friday! Shipping office: Checked in at 1.30pm and checked out at 3am next day. While in dock spent 7 hrs for loading. Stop doing your business if you just take drivers' working hours! Shake on you, Milo's! Next time I will definitely avoid you!

Used to be a great, fast place to load. Now, not the same. Takes all day to get loaded.

Bought 2 gallons of sweet and unsweetened at Whole Foods. Perfect to mix together. Love their tea.

Shipping and receiving lady was nice the parking was a obstacle course, accidental even driving at 5mph!

So far above and beyond the best sweet tea out there. I don t buy any other tea now. We discovered it about a year ago and I literally don t buy tea unless it s Milos now. It always tastes like it was brewed yesterday and like actual tea. Not a fake thing in this stuff and it s obvious. I tell everyone that will listen - this is the tea to buy.

Do not ever ever come here!!! They can not go by their appointment times and they are rude and lie to you about getting loaded.... just like a chicken plant.....hurry and wait...... not coming back here ever!

I live in the Birmingham area and have been a fan of Milo's tea for many years. I was passing through Rochester, Minnesota and stopped in a the local Walmart. I was going to get a couple of gallons of Milo's tea but was unable to find any. I spoke with the manager and he said that he had never heard of it. I told him that it was only the best tea ever brewed. I will have to bring him some next time I come through here.

They always get me loaded quick and they're super friendly and you get a free Sweet Tea

They are very treatable, but to load it is not a good place, it takes a lot, I did the check-up at 12:23 pm it is 11:14 pm and they still haven't charged me, too much time, it is definitely not a good place to load.

While shopping at Walmart at 518 and Dixie Farm Rd in Pearland a nice gentleman ask me if I would like a gallon of tea? Was I shocked? yes. So I said sure. Had some friends over tonight 1/12/2016 and I served the tea. They all loved it as I did. Great tasting. Would I but it if I can find it? You bet cha

There tea may taste great but there loading of trucks is the SLOWEST I have ever seen. I waited 7.5 hrs to get a door. Been in the door for two hrs now and there has been no movement. Talked to the driver next to me said he has been in the door for 4 hrs. He called the shipping office told yhem he was going to leave and they JUST STARTED LOADING HIM. WHOEVER MANAGES THIS PLACE NEEDS TERMINATED. Lost a day of driving thanks to MILOS and their piss poor work ethic.

Gorgeous new facility and wonderful folks to work with! Great company that we can always count on to help groups trying to improve communities. Blessed to have companies that step up to help.

I love your tea. The last 2 times I bought half gallon tea I could not open it had to cut it open. The lid seemed to be glud to bottle.hope you can look into this. Thanks

once again I'm am sooo thankful for my milos sweet tea. Perfectly sweetened, not too sweet. Since trying I have turned so many people onto this awesome dark juice and they all including myself no longer buys or makes tea at home. Actually best to buy a couple gallon at a time because it don't last long between stock boys restocking .. great stuff

I love this tea, I lived down south for a few years and it reminds me of it- so fresh. It s not as sweet like southern tea but I think it s the perfect amount of sweetness. It has a subtle tea flavor ugh so good. It s also a great price.

We love milo s sweet tea it is not a Sunday family gathering without that gallon at the table.

In my Sunday newspaper, was the picture of a little girl, sitting on the edge of a pool, drinking with a straw, out of a gallon of "Famous Sweet Tea". I think that is the wrong image to present. With so much obesity in our country, it just seemed like the wrong way to advertise your product. Thank you for letting me vent.

This place is slower than christmas on a leap year.

I also have reached out to customer service. No one answers the phone on any attention. I wanted to inform them that they needed to clean out the water supply lines used in producing their sweet tea product. The last 3 gallons I've purchased over the last week have all had a slime sediment in the bottom. All 3 gallons had 10 days left on the shelf life. Either Milos is redating old product or the water supply has built up slime that is getting into the mixture.

Ever sense i discovered Milo's tea a couple years ago it's my to go to tea.i love the stuff.

Generally a good place got over weighted today but great place load you quik they handle business. A++ for these guys all day!

Sunday pick up. Appointment at 3pm. Roll into yard at 11:40am. Out of the door 12:57pm. Very quick. But the way how they load you have watch. To heavy on the drive.

The facility is a pretty nice one. There are giant potholes in some areas but they can be avoided. My appointment was at 1pm but arrived an hour early. I didn t get docked until 330pm and they haven t started loading me yet and it is now 6pm. Not sure what the reason behind that is but as far as picking up here, I would avoid it from seeing that this is not just a random act. If you do plan on shipping out of here I would try to have as much time and fuel as possible.

They take many hours for loading,is perfect place for reset eld.

Found this in gulf shores,Al and now in Wisconsin it is the best sweet tea Ever Bar non.

Stay away unless you want to sit all day. Been here for 2 hours and still no door. They said it would probably be another 3 hours. I will never be back here

Why is there no tea in Middle TN area i have been told that it has went out of business? Please someone confirm or deny

I have been buying Milos tea and lemonade every week for a long time. Last week I got a gal of lemonade that tasted soured. I have reached out twice to customer service with no response. I will never buy their product again if this is the way they treat their customers.

We love you alls tea here in Mont Belvieu, Texas. The problem is we can not get more of the one gallon jugs of the sweet tea here at the Thriftee store. Can you please get some more tea to this store? We and others are missing it. Thanks.
