Amazing food, wonderful atmosphere, great wine. In fact everything really excellent 5* except for how far up their own behind they are. Their way or the highway. No changes whatsoever (tough with kids / a coeliac kid), mandatory 20% service (we tip that anyway) etc

Overrated. Guanciale pizza had little and not tasteful guanciale in it, anchovies and parmesan salad was very below the par, and the pistachio tart tasted like a brownie. I won't go again

You'll recognize the place by the cutout of Pat standing in front of the diner. When you walk in, you'll be pleasantly surprised to find that Pat actually wears the same outfit as in the cutout.

All the food was amazing but the service was not good. We were running late so we called and the hostess said she would give our table away in ten mins. We ran there then waited 15 to be sat.. Server wasn t attentive or knowledgeable.

4.6 rating. Additional pictures/video and commentary captured on our food blog on Instagram @FoodVibesNYC. Stop here every visit to LA. Great common tables for walk ins. Farm to table like menu. Always get the kale salad (now only available for take out sadly! Or the spinach salad) Vegetables are solid. Broccolini is a favorite. And the pizzas are superb. Burrata is a winner.

This place has a fantastic menu of Italian-inspired small plates and pizzas. Highly recommend the burrata and carrot dish. We also loved that they had an expansive, unique wine menu. The food, drinks and ambiance made for a nice way to spend a few hours on a rainy Saturday afternoon.

Very over-rated - some food is tasty but the service is below par with lots of attitude- asked to not put mayo on my sandwich n response was we don t do modifications!! what the hell there are plenty of restaurants in this town that would be very happy to accommodate the customer n with much better food n service

Food was great and fresh. The staff was very friendly and gave great suggestions. The only pity is that it can be quite tricky for people with food intolerances/ limitations since the chef doesn't accept any changes in the dishes.

Amazing restaurant on Abbott Kinney. I made a reservation with 5 friends and we were sat at a very cozy table in the back patio area. The ambiance was great and the food was delicious. We tried the pomodoro pizza (add burrata to make it even better), butternut squah agnolotti, nettle-spaghetti cacio e pepe, brussel sprouts, and the cavatelli with prawns. Everything was plated beautifully and tasted amazing. The waiter was attentive. Such a great experience!

Very nice place in Venice. We came for lunch, it was crowdy so we waited for 20-30 minutes. The food was really tasty, but it was pretty noisy! We shared: - from the vegetable side: purple queen beans, fresno, cherry tomato & Dukkah. - Plates: braised pork meatballs, AMAZING. - Pizza: gruyere, caramelized onion, fromage blanc & arugula. Very nice resto in Venice. We came for lunch, it was full so we had to wait 20-30 minutes. The food was delicious, but the place was quite noisy! We share: - From the vegetables: purple queen beans, ash, cherry tomatoes & Dukkah. - Main: pork meatloaf, INCREDIBLE. - Pizza: gruyere cheese, caramelized onion, white cheese & arugula.

The food was okay but customer service was awful. We had a 1:30pm reservation and we got seated at 2:20pm. What? They weren t accommodating to my brother who has severe gastro issues and they couldn t even offer to take cheese off a burger or take chili flakes off the cauliflower. Also the burger wasn t cooked to my liking, almost raw. Go elsewhere.

The food is a 10/10 but the staff was shockingly terrible. They told us they needed the table back in an hour because of a reservation which is fine but then they took forever to serve us. My mom got here food 10 minutes before we had to leave. They were also generally very rude

Lovely little breakfast find in North Beach just off Columbus in LA. So glad Yelp directed us to this spot and we avoided the hour-long-wait-outside-of-a-pretentious-breakfast-place gig. Yay Pat's and yay Yelp.

This place is great! I had pancakes with fruit and a hot chocolate and thoroughly enjoyed both of them. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. The service was a little bit slow but that's to be expected with how many people they have in there. As an extra bonus they had zero problems with my service dog! I thought that the prices were fair and overall I would recommend this.

Amazing pizza and salad. They add a touch of red pepper, fresh shaved parmesan cheese and fresh sprigs of oregano served with the pizza. Server was kind, efficient and never rushed us. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here.

The food here was fantastic, we loved it. What we didn't love and left us with a very sour taste was the 'mandatory 20% tip'. I have no problem with the amount - but losing my right to award a tip is not palatable.

Really overrated, food was not tasty at all, in fact the meatballs tasted off and the pizza was one of the worst i've ever tasted, how can pizza go wrong? Poor service too and they left the door open on a cold day with a/c on, had to sit there with a coat on. Wanted to try this place for so long, so very disappointing!

The reviews are real people!!!! This is the best Mexican food I've ever had. I've already been here 3 times in the past week . I've had the breakfast quesadillas without the potato's, the fish taco (fried) to die for and the chicken soup better than grandmas (sorry granny). About to have the California burrito. Stay tuned. Don't forget to do the yelp check in for 10% discount . Forgot to mention the breakfast specials in the mornings only 6.99 includes coffee. The service is excellent and the places is always clean .

It never fails, always delicious. I recommend the guanciale pizza (simply delicious). You have to book well in advance; the atmosphere is very nice, the music, the customers, the waiters. They automatically charge 20% tip so don't rush if you're okay with that amount, no option.

Amazing pizza, terrible wine. The wine (Irene Badala Nerello Mascalese) was watery, insipid and tasted like vinegar diluted with tap water. Fortunately the pizza was fantastic - crispy thin base, handmade chorizo, fresh cheese and tomato.

I would say it s definitely talked about and I get the appeal of the restaurant- however, even with a reservation we waited in line and on top of that, I would say the meals were pretty standard.

The food and drink was fabulous and could not be faulted and the service was very good indeed. My only criticism would be the compulsory 20% service charge. I'm firmly of the belief that all employers regardless of country should pay their employees a living wage and that tips, gratuities etc should be giving on the standard of service that is given/received. I've given a 3stars as a result. If the gratuity had not been compulsory then you would have received 5 stars.

The employee made a mistake. With the help of the manager, we were able to get out of the crisis. But the staff and guests at the restaurant behaved rudely towards us. The employee who made the mistake didn't apologize to us. She didn't even provide any more services. (We paid a 20% tip.) I think she needs a service education. The food was delicious, but it became the worst day of my trip.

Delicioua food and a nice outdoor seating area. We had many appetizers, pizza, steak, and the vegetable sandwich. Our absolute favorite was the mushroom pizza, it did not have cheese yet was so tasteful.

The food is good, nothing special and the plates are too small for the price. They let the back door (full wall) open and it was freezing inside. People were wearing their jackets and beanies inside the restaurant, stupid. Also I didn't like the fact that they put 20% tips without asking (even if 20% is usually ok for me), the customer should always have the right too chose.

If possible a table in the back is best: less noise and hustle. The service is quick and impeccable and more importantly the food is great. A very modern American choice with big flavors of the spices and the veggies complemented by great pizza and amazing plates. Cool wine list. only the desserts were a little under for me but that's not a deal breaker. Great stuff.

I hear it is very hard to get into this restaurant, however we got lucky and walked right in. This place has a great atmosphere. Some might say it is too dim but I think it sets the mood well. We had the chorizo pizza and spaghetti. The pizza was amazing! Down to the crust that we dipped in out corn sauce. The spaghetti was to firm for my liking. This place didn t disappoint from all the hype.

Great food, great atmosphere. I ve been coming here for years for the quality pizza, vegetable dishes and our favorite - butterscotch pot de creme. Lately the service has taken a turn for the worse. Guess they don t need to care about giving quality service when they automatically receive 20% from us. Our server today did not check on us even once. She only came to the table to take our order and that was it. We were wondering where she went, and in the end, found out she actually left. Her shift had ended and nobody had let us know. It s a shame that quality food no longer comes with quality service.

Made a reservation for 2 but my friend would show up late...still would not get my table and order unless the whole party was there. Unfriendly staff. Not worth making resevations and have to wait outside!

The quintessential restaurant that put Venice on the foodie map. This is a go to place for breakfast to sit out in the patio and bask under the LA sun. Whether it's the seasonal soft scramble with zucchini flower or the sweet potato hash, it's pretty damn impossible to go wrong with the menu. For dinner, change things up and sit back in the moody inside dining room and tuck into a grilled little gem lettuce with buttermilk dressing or one of the famed pizzas.

Stumbled in this place last weekend, no sign outside so we just walked in. Got lucky and was seated right away. Make sure to get there early as by 10:30 there was a line outside and everyone had reservations! Food was absolutely amazing, we will definitely go back.
