This is actually the best place to have breakfast the pancakes are the bomb so are the omelette very good place highly recommend it to everyone dog friendly as well the staff is outstanding.

Four stars for food. Two stars for service. Have been going to this cafe regularly for about three years now and have really appreciated the decent quality of food and the overall vibe of the place, but the service has gotten really bad.

There is typically a wait when you arrive, which is expected for any LA brunch spot, but the man running the line is really rude. He basically barks at you when a table is ready and then just points in the general direction of the table that has opened up. Easy to get over if it just one simple interaction, but the line runs along the extent of the patio tables, so as a restaurant guest you get to watch him bark at other guests awaiting tables and yell at the wait staff over top of you for the duration of the meal.

Additionally, once you are seated there does not seem to be a traditional serving section style where one server waits on you-which leads to either you having five different servers asking you the same question within seconds of each other or not having anyone waiting on you at all because they thought someone else had taken care of you. Really disorganized. After being seated and ordering coffee immediately we spent about thirty minutes waiting on drinks and had to flag down about three different servers to actually get coffee on the table. This phenomenon happened about three different times throughout the meal (with coffee, with extra utensils, and with the check).

In summary the food was pretty good, but the stress of the bad service made it a really unpleasant experience.

Super pricey! It's good coffee but 5 dollars for just coffee is kinda out of my budget I stop by for the morning special French roast 2.50

Amazing breakfast and fast service. Everyone is very on point with providing help, my coffee never is half empty. The food quality is amazing. Never have had a bad time. Chicken Apple walnut sausage is the best.

this place can get really busy from one minute to the next. when we showed up there wasn't a long wait but as we were leaving there was a line down the street with people waiting to be seated. i didn't think that my favorite part of the dish would be the potatoes but they actually were. they had a lot of flavor and they served a fair amount. the wait staff was a bit backed up but they were pretty alright with taking care of their tables.

All of our potatoes were nearly raw. Eggs were cold and they got our order wrong. At least they were quick in serving and I always had my coffee and water refilled.

Best place in town!!! We will always go there when back in LA!

The quality was not there. The food and the service was sloppy. Sadly didn't live up to it's reputation based on past reviews. Maybe a change of ownership or just a bad day?

Really friendly service & tasty vegan options. Did find a stone in my tempeh sandwich so chew carefully.

Not the tastiest vegan sandwich - need more dressing & salads, but served with nice fresh fruit. Vegan espresso milkshake was very good, but say clearly no straw as they re using all single-use plastic straws still (why?!). Bit expensive for sitting next to busy sidewalk & road, but convenient location.

I have always liked this place, they have expanded the seating area but not the kitchen which doesn't make sense, we have been waiting for our food for one hour and the food still doesn't arrive...very disappointed! The kitchen should be expanded if the are going to increase their capacity!

This cafe is really good. It's nice and cozy. There is a very warm atmosphere, food is very tasty.

After a LONG and stressful morning we decided to get some food and try out Millie's Cafe and I must say it was a GREAT decision. The food was great. I loooveeed the fries! The staff was AWESOME! They had such great teamwork. The atmosphere was nice as well.

The service was good. The food, unfortunately, was not. I got the scramble and my friend got the eggs Benedict. The scramble tasted kind of what I imagine dog food to taste like. The eggs Benedict was just ok (hollandaise was lackluster.)

I think the terrace is great for dogs, but the food itself is just...not good.

Amazing experience here! My husband is gluten free and the waffles were so fluffy, best he's ever had! I had a yummy Huevos Ahogados. Service was great! Good coffee,(I'm picky), yummy acai bowls. They're shirt say something like servie with a "f" you- but the servers were all super nice and friendly. Huge menu with vegan, gluten free options. Outdoor and indoor seating.

Definitely coming back!!! Love their plant based options and I LOVE that they mix the bananas IN the pancake mix, something most places don't get right. Thank you to all you hard working people!

The service is great. They got my food out fast and it was very delicious. It's a great place for breakfast or brunch.

Popped in for a quick bite and it was great. Good solid greasy spoon ish breakfast and stand out coffee. I had an omelette which was well executed.

Stopped in for breakfast. Arrived shortly after opening on a random weekday and the place filled up fast. Service was great, waitress was awesome. Very clean and welcoming inside. Most notably, might have been the best pancakes I've ever had in my life. Can't wait to go back.

Classic diner fare. Omelettes are well made and filling. My favorite is the garden patty burger. They have kept the same recipe through the different owners. Current owner have expanded and cleaned it up from its punk rock origins. Hipsters, kids, some families. Mostly young clientele. Food is very reasonably priced for area. Sitting at counter is my favorite. One of best and affordable places for breakdast in Silver Lake.

The restaurant's parking is a bit tricky but the food is worth it. Beat the crowd or you'll have a bit of a wait. Seating is indoors and outdoors. Orders are quickly brought to the table.

Love this place. It's nice for brunch or lunch. Get here early on weekends bc there is a line. Highly recommend their biscuits with marmalade and butter and hot chocolate.

If you stay away from the lines during Millennial Amateur Brunch (i.e. weekends) Millies is the best breakfast game in town.

The service is a little sloppy but that's part of the vibe of the place so it doesn't bother you. The food is FAN - TAS - T C. Absolutely amazing. They have a vegan menu too.

Food pretty good but not terrific. Staff is tops! Very popular, so it can be hard to get a seat sometimes (actually, I hadn't eaten here in years because of that). Outdoor seating is lovely.

There is method to the madness. Food is delicious, and there are tons of vegetarian and vegan options (even veggie bacon/sausage, if you're into that). Eggs Benedict, pancakes, waffles, fresh fruit, and healthy options are all on the menu. There's outdoor seating on Sunset with umbrellas for shade. Parking's tough, but when is it easy? Great coffee!!

Love this place food is very good your dog is aloud to be there thats very great ,i just dont like that staff are rushing you to eat it's a annoying. You haven't finished when they are asking you do u need the check, did any one bring you the check, amd keep looking at the table i am like , it here with me someone elsa brouth it , didn't evem aske ig we need it anything else .I made a drive for about 11/2 to get there bc i really like this place but now wow. Hold on people let me enjoy my good i travel this far some times not always bc it far but i used to live here and not my sister lives here in sunset blvd . I know they are busy but we are all paying customers .

I keep coming here out nostalgia. The menu has never changes and the food is still pretty good. Just more commercial than it used to be.

Want to support your local business? Well support another restaurant. Millie's Cafe has horrendous Customer Service. Food is Cold and always incorrect. I do not recommend ordering from this restaurant ever. They never send the correct order and then they hung up on me twice when asking them to rectify. When I reached out to them directly on instagram, my comments were deleted and they never respond to customer complaints. Despicable establishment. Will Never order from Millie's Cafe again.

Always come here for huevos rancheros when visiting LA , this morning however I was very disappointed as my breakfast seemed to have spent a while in the microwave; the tortilla were soggy and soft, floating in a watery mix of bean n salsa juice.

Best service in LA. These guys do it right every time! my coffee and water are never more then half way empty. The food is consistently exceptional and priced perfectly. My favorite breakfast and lunch in silverlake by a mile. Go with the biscuit.

Excellent & well worth the wait. I'll give it a 4.9 rating since my plant based meal came with a cube of butter lol but seriously, 5 stars, excellent place.

We really enjoyed breakfast here. They have a lot of unique items on the menu. I had the Devils Mess, which was tasty. The coffee was very good, and the wait staff was attentive and friendly. Parking is tight in the area.

I dont know why people actually queued to get in here. I asked for a meat & butter sandwich & they refused to put butter on it!
