Came to Chicago and stayed at Palmer House Hilton. Found Miller's Pub right next door. Great atmosphere, good selection of food. I stayed with the itailian flair and it was delicious. Prices were very good for Chicago especially the itailian menu.

Miller s is a vintage downtown Chicago restaurant that makes solid food with good service. It s not the kind of place you should travel across the city for, but if you re in the Loop and you re looking for a decent bite, it s an option.

As a Chicagoan, I ve only come here when out of town friends are staying in the Loop and are looking for a bite to eat nearby. In the couple of times I ve been here, I ve had a solid experience.

By far the BEST service I have ever had. Walked in (On St. Paddys day weekend). They opened the kitchen early, have been nothing but kind and very helpful to all. They are patient and so far, all I can say about the food is.... BOMB! Great job! I will be back for sure.

Ask for Matt as your waiter- best service I've had in this city so far, and much more kind than the waitress we asked to take a picture, who told us to leave her alone. Matt recommended the steak sandwich to my buddy and I and subbed out my fries for peas...excellent meal. I'd recommend the pub to anyone looking for a quality casual meal in the heart of the city, from an establishment with historical value.

Food was okay. It's the kind of dimlit restaurant where you can hang out after work (I guess, as I was in vacation in Chicago). The half chicken was extremely dry, no amount of sauce did the job. The burger was good though.

Porter was 13$ for a half small glass ... When you get a small glass for a high gravity beer you go 70-75% (10-12oz) they went 40% and 20% head... They claim it's how the tap pours and is automatic but the rest of the taps have a manual pour... The miller lights are "well" prices though ...

Millers is always one of those "old reliable" places to go for a meal, particularly if you are hungry late at night. I personally find that they never fail to satisfy, and it's an old-fashioned Chicago experience. I have been eating at Miller's off and on for many years, and though I no longer live in Chicago I often will stop in for a meal, particularly late at night after a show.

Miller's pub has historic charm with classic wood paneling wonderfully decorated for the Christmas holidays when we visited. They have a great sandwich selection in addition to a full menu with seafood, beef and their speciality ribs. Try their holiday featured Tom And Jerry drink, an amped up eggnog, brandy, rum spice and surgar drink served warm!

It took five minutes for the bartender to acknowledge me and it wasn't busy. It was a Wednesday night, around midnight.
I asked him to close out the tab at the first round(I was just waiting for the train and grabbed a beer) but he didn't.
Then he disappeared for another five minutes or so. I think to get someone's order, which I understand.
I gave cues to the other bartender, who then proceeded to chat casually with other customers.
I hope this was a one off, but I expected more professionalism and urgency from such an establishment.
I didn't miss my train, but I worried that I might.

Excellent service and great food! The waitress asked if we had any place to be or needed to be finished at any particular time, and she made sure our (nearly unreasonable) request was met. It was amazing!

I tried the fish and chips..the smell of the fish verified that this "fresh fish" died in the freezer weeks ago. Then I opted for the meatloaf and it was overly salty and gray. I'm not sure what meat that was. I know that this place is an institution in Chicago dining but I clearly don't know what to order there.
My vodka gimlet was good and the staff attentive and polite.

Katia, our server, was friendly and efficient. We were never left wanting for anything. My prime rib dinner was excellent but my guest was not as happy with the somewhat small ribs. All in all enjoyed ourselves though.

If you're not eating, they won't let you sit at a table. Tables are only for people who promised to order food. Besides that there isn't really anywhere to stand to talk with people. Okay bar, decent selection, but probably wouldn't go back

My friends, husband and I went to this place the first time and it was AMAZING! For a appetizer we had spinach artichoke dip and it was the best I ever had didn't want it to stop! In between that and our entree they brought complimentary different kinds of bread and butter. When it came time for our entree we all loved each of our entree so much we decided to share them with every one in our party. My friends got the steak burger and fries and the other friend got the roasted lamb. Truth be told I can't stand lamb and I have got to say that was amazing they made me love lamb. My mushroom truffle Swiss burger was succulent and moist and my husbands ribs were flavorful and juicy! We would for sure all go to this place again. Great place to eat definitely WON'T disappoint.

Honestly, these guys just understand food. The flavors were all so complex and perfect. They got a long so well and just seemed to love what they were doing. Food was incredible, drinks were incredible, atmosphere was somehow even better.

A classic Chicago bar. It can be crowded, there was an hour wait for a table on the day we went. However we immediately found a spot at the bar. The prime rib sandwich is amazing and at 15$ is a real deal. The place was very busy we got our order within 15 minutes. The bartender was quick and knowledgeable. I would recommend visiting this bar to anyone.

Walked in to no wait. There was no greeting just blank stares. A women at the desk said 3 and a man took menus then walked us back silently. Upon finding our table he plopped the menus down and said, "there." While our waitress was nice she was extremely rushed. The food was not as remarkably as the times before. We planned on ordering more to take home before the service but then decided against it. Won't be back.

If could have gave no stars that is how I would explain the service I received from the their representatives at the taste of chicago. Extremely rude for no reason. If your employees can't handle the busy venue then they need not work.

This is a Chicago original. Great place to go for lunch or dinner. Right after work it gets crowded but you can make reservations if you don't want to wait in line. Great selection of comfort food and even high on stakes!
