The greatness of Miller's is truly in the details, from the friendly hosts (always in suits) to the decor that makes you feel like you've traveled back in time. The food is ALWAYS good as is the service. You really can't go wrong.

I had a good time the first time I went, but I left early my last visit. My sister and I were left waiting for over a half hour when the place wasn't even crowded. All we ordered was a salad and a burger.

Went to meet up with friends after the NRA show...didn't really have high expectations...but the bartenders basically ignored me and u could tell all the food is basically out of the freezer and deep fried...won't go back

The menu is a bit dated. The seafood platter listed in the online menu on Miller's website was discontinued (disappointed), ended up with a bbq chicken salad...not very "bbqee". Companion had a Mediterranean salad w/ chicken...chicken was undercooked, pink raw inside....service not the greatest either. Had to ask for utensils, the dressing....not a great visit this time around. In the past enjoyed other dishes ( the liver is good, chicken pot pie is ok but weirdly served, tiramisu is good). Maybe next time.

Terrible condescending attitude from the manager. Had friends visiting and i am ashamed of taking them to that place.
Being from a spanish speaking country, i think the manager assumed that they don't even have money to pay, so both him and the waiter kept repeating that there is a minimum $7 per person.
Some of us ate, but the food was mediocre, dry, and kind of tasteless, which, combined with the staff's attitude, made me rate it 1 star, and mark it as a place to never go again.

First off, it is St Patrick s day and not only did they open before the kitchen they were 1000% accommodating to my group. We watched the bar fill and the man in the grey suit I can only assume to be the manager did a phenomenal job. Our waiter Brad greeted us and made sure our drinks were good and the second the kitchen opened he came back and took our orders. This place has gone beyond expectations on a day I expected service to be garbage. Kudos and I will be back! Thanks you for the great time!

Miller's has been one of my favorite haunts for 20 years. Warm memories, and looking forward to more. The ambience, friendly and professional service, and classic decor send Miller's over the top. The food is good, nothing unusual, but consistent and tasty. There just seems to be an unusual happiness at Miller's. It's hard to describe.

Miller's is family friendly. I take my HS Seniors there every year, and the waiters treat them like they're made of gold. My kids have all enjoyed their meals at Miller's, even the vegetarians. We'll be there again this year.

As you might expect, Miller's is busy. Be sure to get a reservation.

Great food, great beer, excellent service! I stopped here a few times on my recent trip to Chicago. I was afraid that this place would be a total tourist trap or stereotypical big city pub. I was more than impressed with the beer selection and service. I came back later for a Chicken Caesar Salad to go and was really impressed with the portions! They even gave me an entire brown bag of different kinds of bread/rolls! Hope to stop in again for a beer the next time I'm in Chicago.

A genuine surprise. Recommend by folks at CIBC Theater and they were spot on. Best grilled cheese sandwich (sourdough bread) I ever tasted. Service was also excellent and prices were fair.

Great burgers, crowded but staff was able to handle with ease. Food came reasonable time, patty was juicy. Waiter was Attentive, what more can I ask. Sample a few items, had the Truffle burger muchroom, tasted great, had the Club sandwich, tasted awesome, tried a custom burger and was perfect. Will return. Recommend.

The staff overall is accommodating and professional. Timely with a top off they have their times down pat. The decor is dark out school restaurant filled with photos of celebrities who have dined here. The food was below average. Steak was blah as well as the side dish. Just no taste whatsoever.

Yum

One of my favorite places to visit for a traditional pub experience. Sit at the bar, have a beer and enjoy the sights and sounds of a classic Chicago haunt. The Cobb salad will blow your mind, but you must like blue cheese everything if you're going to order it. Friendly staff and goo times. This place gets busy so be prepared to wait or make a reservation.

Have you seen Ferris Bueller? Yes or no, it doesn't matter because this restaurant is not in the movie. It should have been, because it's a downtown Chicago staple. Perfect for the picky eater as the menu is all comfort food. The most exotic they get is leg of lamb and spanakopita, which is Greek for making spinach bearable to eat (it's actually very good you can go wrong with flaky dough and feta cheese). The decor is like if your classy dad got to the "ok" to design the basement; like he was trying to replicate the set of TV series Cheers but when nuts on scenery paintings and comfortable booths.

This place is awesome. Many micro brews on tap, food is very yummy and the atmosphere at the bar is always friendly and interesting. Consistently great place to have a quick dinner while visiting Chicago

Great bar that is open late in the loop. Food is very good and the staff is too notch. Food is a little overpriced ,but you are paying a higher premium for a late night bar and restaurant located in the loop.

Portions: tastey and generous. Prices: moderate. Location: perfect.
Unfortunately made the mistake of going the Saturday before Xmas; long wait; unpleasant ambience; poor service.
I'll be back tho: it's usually a quiet, reliable restaurant in the heart of the loop

Classic old school restaurant and bar. Excellent burgers, fries, and pork chops. Attentive service. Convenient downtown location. It's a great place to visit if you want the classic Chicago feel.

The experience from the wait staff was absolutely incredible. Linda was overly kind and amazing. The food... bbq burger, blue cheese burger, fish and chips, as well as the pastrami on rye. Food was amazing ( I had the pastrami) easily top 3 I've ever had. Now as for the drinks... I had 2 vesper martinis. First one was the best martini I've ever had then the closing bartender arrived at 7 and made my second one and blew the first one out of the water.

Walked there by chance for a dinner on a rainy night and had a great experience. The place was very busy and loud but food and service were good. Portions are huge, so its definitely worth sharing. Ceasar salad is very good.

Great Place!

Great Place!

I had the steak sandwich. Excellent flavor and it was tender and juicy. The fries were okay.

Very wide selection of drinks and beers.

The people were great. Helpful and made great suggestions.

I really like the decor.

I can't wait to return.

Myself and group of United Supervisors were hanging out there for about an hour having great time until our bartender went on his break and another bartender Miguel took his place. He was so rude beyond belief, when we asked him about beer options he said he doesn't have time to waste with us and threw a menu book in our direction. When I asked him for his name he proudly held his vest toward my face like he was proud of his behavior. He is the proverbial bad apple that spoiled all the fun for us. We go to Miller's every time we are in town for business. We might not go there next conference.
