The memories still live at Miller's Pub.

They have successfully created an excellent model for post co-vid socializing.

They were on point with the disposable menus and the like.

And my waitress was not only a waitress but a non-intrusive instructor.

She made sure to follow the rules, at a distance in full view which helped.

Curteous and professional.

In addition the owners sit near the entrance most times and make sure everything is just fine.

And it is.

The food was pretty good and our waitress was attentive. However the host staff was pretty unhelpful. There were literally 4 people at the stand when I walked in, no one greeted me. When I asked if my party was already there one of them just vaguely pointed to the other half of the restaurant like I was imposing on the nothing that they were doing.

As a solo female traveler dining alone on a Monday night, I practically had to beg for someone to wait on me. The glass of wine was barely drinkable at $11. The entree was very good, chicken piccata, saved the night. I won't be back.

I ordered a hamburger with cheese and onions, they forgot to give me the lettuce and tomatoes I had to eat my cheeseburger plain, did not taste great. They were speedy on charging me for the extra ingredients but when it came to the basic stuff that should ve came with they didn t give me. Can t believe I paid &15 for a burger I didn t really fully enjoyed.

Miller's is 'safe' in that the entrees are entirely predictable and almost boring , the service is alright but not outstanding, prices are mostly reasonable. In short, you get exactly what you would expect from a midwestern stalwart. I have a friend in his 70s who loves the place. I can take it or leave it.

Tis the Season! The Doorman is Jolly, Vicky rocks and the food is delicious! After a night of being able to share with those less fortunate, it was delightful for our group to be welcomed warmly here, by the Family at Miller's! Thank You, Merry Christmas!

Stopped in here, for some drinks, while in the city. This place looked really historic, and I dig that. The reason for the 3 star rating, is because it was so damn expensive! There were 4 of us, and we had 4 beers, 4 shots and a Jack n coke. When the bill arrived, it was over $80!!

A historic restaurant located just outside of The Palmer House hotel. It has great feel and ambiance, the menu is a mixture of American style with some Greek offerings as the owners are of Greek decent. I had the Greek salad and it was a lot of salad to eat. I didn t finish it, I also had the green peas and ham soup which was delicious. Willie our waiter was a pro! The prime rib sandwich and hamburger plate was also good. I d recommend this place for a cool experience in a nice environment.

One of Chicago's oldest bars. I'd recommend ordering a Vesper Martini, it's one of their best.. If your looking for food, they also have some amazing prime rib & fried chicken. It's one of the few bars in the city that has a 4am liquor license. Kitchen stays open late, I believe until 1:00 am.

Nice place. It was pouring rain when we arrived. We were greeted right away. Lana was our waitress and was so personable. The food was very good and portions were very generous. We had a Chicago Ale that was very good as well. Prices are reasonable and the ambiance is very cozy and traditional.

It all depends on your expectations, right? We had just gotten off a train from CA earlier that afternoon and only seen a tiny bit of Chicago - walked around a little and had some dinner.

We sat at the bar to have a final beer of the night. The bartenders were great. They told us about the beers, gave us some tastes and were very gracious.

We didn't eat, but I definitely recommend the bar for beer. We didn't have any cocktails, but our neighbors did, and they looked great.

We mainly came for the beer selection, which was good. The food was just okay- portions are big but wasn't wowed. Avoid the avgolemono soup- was excited about it but it was very salty and thick, almost coating your mouth. Weird. The service was quick and attentive. I would just do appetizers next time!

Fantastic place to get a gourmet burger. Loved my cod sandwich though. Also a good variety of drinks. There's a little bit of a wait in the afternoons, but I'd say it's definitely worth it.

Loop standard. Stopped in during a museum visit. Hadn't been there since the 90s and it has hardly changed. BIG plates with...not quite so healthy options, but mighty tasty for a duck-in lunch. It's still a businessman's bar, from the 60s. Great atmosphere, good food, GREAT service. It's a fine place to go, if you aren't expecting too many options for wheat grass juice!

Was suggested as a nice place to go. A group went there on a busy Saturday afternoon. We were to my surprise seated right away. Waiter was Marcos, who was attentive, helpful, friendly and moved to refill drinks, bring food and any extra items requested. He even offered a penlight to read the menu as the pub has a lower light atmosphere in the back. Always a good sign to see a restaurant busy on a weekend when the regular 9-5 crowd is out of town. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal and there s something to satisfy anyone s appetite. Will go again.

Everybody from my new job come here for lunch. This was my third time here. So far had the fish n chips and the corned beef sandwich. Neither made me want to have it again. This time I tried the grilled ham and cheese. I liked that enough to have it again. Atmosphere is kinda heavy, old-school, tavernish. Not my favorite.

I've enjoyed Miller's Pub for decades, and try to stop in for a bite or a glass of wine when I'm in the Loop. Great service, always crowded, good food, and the kind of dark-wooded, old-school Chicago vibe unmatched by newer places.

Good food, lots of great beer. The service was not perfect, but certainly not horrible either. I sometimes felt like my waiter was rushing me out of there. Also the booth was a little tight for some of us that have beer bellies.

We were very happy with our experience and food. We were a party of 9 - 4 adults and 5 kid. We got there just before 5 to beat the rush. Service, drinks and food were great and prompt! And I have to say I was very impressed by the number of staff they have tending to the diners.
